This Reader Created a Recycled Thanksgiving Centerpiece Out of an Amazon Box
Have an Amazon box? Transform it into a Thanksgiving centerpiece!
With Thanksgiving right around the corner, if you’re hosting, you probably already started preparing. This week’s Happy Friday winner, Erika, has the perfect hack for a centerpiece!
All you need is a recent purchase from Amazon and a trip to the dollar store for some contact paper and decorations (which you may or may not have already!).
Keep reading to see how she put it all together and created a gorgeous Thanksgiving centerpiece.
Fall centerpiece with recycled Amazon box! I scored simulated wood contact paper at Dollar Tree, so I covered an Amazon box with the paper.
Cut my family’s last names in vinyl using the Cricut that I bought at JoAnn with discounts posted in Hip2Save last year. Filled the box with a recycled glass growler, some fall leaves that I bought for $0.99 at JoAnn, fabric pumpkin from Dollar Tree, and mini pumpkins from Walmart. Loved the results!
Such a great centerpiece, Erika! If you didn’t know, over 90% of Amazon boxes are made from recycled materials, so this is an awesome way to take care of the environment. Just by looking at it, you would never know it’s a cardboard box!
Take some inspiration from this if you’re planning on DIYing your Thanksgiving table! Happy Thanksgiving, Hip2Savers!
