This Reader Developed Lasting Friendships Through Our Amazing Hip2Save Community
Friendships make our hearts warm! ❤️
This story from this week’s Happy Friday reader, Bunny, absolutely warmed our hearts beyond what words can describe!
Bunny shared a touching story about the friendships she’s developed from the Hip Community. We’re blown away by how beautiful friendships form stemming from the common interest of Hip2Save! 🥰
As we approach the holidays and the new year, I would love to say how grateful I am for the three amazing connections I’ve made right here on Hip2Save.
A few years ago, a lady named Kerri mentioned she posted a trade that was unfortunately not reciprocated. I felt bad for her and immediately sent her the missing code that she had been hoping to receive.
Long story short, we started emailing each other codes and coupons. Then we decided it would be more efficient if we texted each other, especially if there was a hot deal. As time went on, our conversations had nothing to do with coupons or trading, more about life in general.
We’d make each other laugh. We supported each other through challenging times. A nice friendship developed.
Fast forward to a recent fall weekend, Kerri and her boyfriend were traveling from NY to NC for a wedding. We met outside at a location close to Interstate 95. I brought them box lunches so they wouldn’t have to stop for food on the road. Kerri gifted me with a plethora of beauty gifts—a real bounty, too!
I can’t begin to tell you how nice it was meeting Kerri in person. She is a real gem. We had a lovely visit.
And speaking of gems, I’ve also become friends with Tia in Florida and Denille in North Carolina. Two awesome ladies who have so much to share. Tia is funny, generous, and has a great outlook on life. And Denille is a new Mom—I get such a thrill whenever she sends pictures of her baby girl. It is my hope to also meet Tia and Denille in person one day soon.
What a gift all three ladies are to me! I wanted you to know how much I appreciate Hip2Save and all you do for your readers!

Oh my gosh I am over here in tears. Bunny is a blessing in my life as well. It is amazing to me that there are people like her, never met my baby girl and myself but so much like family to us!
Bunny is a remarkable woman. She is just as wonderful as she appears and others have mentioned. While she is talking about how wonderful some of us (her friends) are. I dont want for a second to overshadow what a real champion she is. Her kindness goes well beyond the norm….her and her husband have dedicated their lives to training Service Dogs for the Blind. Not just a loving hobby for them but a true lifestyle. Ive been fortunate to get to know her better and better and get to hear all the stories and milestones about the dogs. Ive come to know if i have any issue, even personal, i can text Bunny and she will always give me good advice. I couldnt be happier that my “trade” went awry a few years ago – otherwise I may not have met Bunny. I can not say enough good things about a person i met in the most unconventional way. Thanks to Hip2Save I truly can say I love my friend Bunny & Im forever grateful for such a genuine friend 💕

I met a girl through Hip2Save too. It was about 10 years ago I think. And we even met once in real life and we still keep in touch. We shared a lot of deals over the years.
