This Reader Found a Frugal Way to Gift New Years Treats to All Her Co-Workers
Looking to share some New Year’s spirit? 🎉
As we come to a 2021 close, the New Year jitters are among us! What better way to share the 2022 excitement than with co-workers, a.k.a. the people you arguably spend the most time with?
It’s difficult to give every person something special without it becoming too expensive, but, this week’s Happy Friday reader, Amy, figured out a clever way to share New Year’s cheer in a frugal manner! 🎊
I created little New Year’s treats for my co-workers. I work in an office of 30, so, to include everyone, I have to be frugal! I used free gift tags from Walgreens that I learned about on Hip2Save, but, if you have a printer, you could easily create tags of your own.
The plastic champagne glasses came from Dollar Tree (6/$1), the iridescent “Easter grass” I already had on hand, and the Hershey’s Kisses were bought during a sale at CVS. It’s just a little treat I plan to put on each person’s desk. It’s unexpected, so I’m hoping it’ll make them smile as they bring on the new year!
What a way to lift spirits up for the New Year, Amy! This is such a thoughtful gift that I’m positive your coworkers will appreciate it. Getting gifts for a large group can easily become super expensive, but you’ve found a hack to save you money while making your coworkers feel special. ❤️
HAPPY FRIDAY!

What a nice little surprise! I like that it’s a new years treat. So unexpected after Christmas.
Very cool to do New Year gifts. Sometimes Christmas gifting can become saturating n overwhelming, so it’s nice to gift for a different holiday. Congrats.
Love this! That’s exactly it. This year we sent Thanksgiving cards vs Christmas so we don’t get lost in the shuffle.
Thank you for sharing . I Love this.I will definitely be doing this for the teachers and staff I work with.💕💕
