If we begin a free trial and then pay for this price for the year, will we forfeit the free trial time or will the membership be applied at the end of the trial period?

    • Rachel

That’s my question too. I signed up but it won’t let me pay today, it only allows me to do the free trial

      • J

You have to scroll through the different options. Scroll down and you’ll see I think it’s the second option that’ll say Disney + & offer. Click on that one & it will direct you to this $59.99 for your first year & you’ll be able to go ahead & and sign up & enter payment information, etc.

      • J

Don’t forget to use Rakuten Ebates first to get $10 cash back.

        • NoVATwins

Thank you for this reminder! Just subscribed via the Rakuten link.

    • J

In order to get this deal ($10 off for your first year) you must sign up today & therefore forfeit the free trial. According to this post, this deal is for today only. Definitely worth it to me if you were planning on getting Disney +

  2. Joy W

Is there a way to gift this?

    • Aileen

Sort of…you can use your recipient’s email address and share the password you set up with them. They will see how much you paid. I’m doing this for my niece and nephew and just worked it out with my sister.

  3. Anna

great! I was going to get this as a Christmas gift to the kids anyway 🙂

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

      Oh perfect! How exciting!

  4. J

Ebates still has $10 cash back, too

  5. Jeremiah2911

Rakuten is also offering $10 Cash Back with the annual purchase!

    • amandamoreno

I signed up for this Rakuten and got the Disney + through there click though how does it take awhile for it to process through Rakuten that I got it ?

      • Gloria

I purchased on Rakuten but did not receive the $10 back. Has anyone else had this problem?

  6. Cristine

Ah man, just signed up Saturday. Lol

    • Vicki

Cancel that one and use a new email address to sign up today!

      • Anna

oh no I missed that too– hmm won’t you ne charged stil for two months?

  7. KetaCar

Don’t forget if you’re a Verizon wireless customer you get a year of Disney+ for FREE!!

    • allie

It’s only if you have an unlimited plan.

    • sara

can you still get this deal with verizon?

      • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

I’m still seeing it available. You can find details here.

  8. Ashley Zhang

Didn’t give me the option at all. Anyone got this?

    • ToriSC

I found it by scrolling down

  9. Stacy

Thanks for the tip on the extra $10 back on Rakuten! I was hoping Disney+ would run a deal this weekend–the kids will love this!

  10. Jules

Does it also take $10 off if you get the Hulu /espn2 bundle?

  11. Jill

OMG, thank you for this!!!!! I’ve been holding out on getting this…… and I signed up for Rakuten (with a $10 bonus) and then you get $10 back for Disney+. this is so awesome !! thank you so much!

  12. Staci

So, I want to give this as a gift. Is there any reason I couldn’t make a new email address and password, use my credit card to pay for it and then give the person I am giving it to the email address and password for Christmas so they can log in and use it?

  13. CJ

Yay, I’ve been waiting to see if there would be a deal too. Signed up through Rakuten for the extra $10 back. Super excited.

  14. DaniHarp

Thanks for the Rakuten tip! Didn’t even think of that! 🙏🏼

  15. brittany

I had the free trial. It expires today so when I got to sign up for the annual it just directs me to amazon subscription it that right?
I’m confused and not sure I’m doing it correctly.

  16. Ash

Is there a way to pay for a year if you already have an account and pay monthly right now?

  17. Allyson

Same question as Ash. I don’t want to cancel and then start again with a new email address. I am hoping to incorporate this into my current account.

    • brittany

I chatted with them and they said that’s the only way around it and too cancel and use new email to sign up.

  18. thefourofus

    SUCUC54K $1.25 off Redbox

  19. ARIA

I have the free trial right know, anyone figure out how to get this deal? Do we need to cancel the trial or use a new email?

    • NOW

I tried the free trial a few weeks ago then canceled after trial. It wasn’t allowing me to sign up for this deal. I created a new account using new email and that worked for me.

  20. Erin

I just want the cute unicorn 🦄 tablet cover!

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Hi Erin! You can find that from Target!

  21. kuyuke

I just signed up for this deal and was charged $68.00 (even though during checkout it clearly stated I would be charged 59.99 for the first year and 69.99 afterwards). I am now in line to speak with a representative through their live chat and the estimated wait time is 28 minutes…lovely way to spend my time today. =(

    • vicki

Please let me know what you find out!! I’m on waiting to chat about the same issue. (And I teach and my break is nearly over so I doubt I’ll get it figured out for several more hours. 🙁

      • kuyuke

Since I live in FL there is an ecommerce tax charge of $8.01. I told the representative they need to show a breakdown of all the charges on their confirmation page and they responded with “The taxes are calculated after the payment is received.” Not a nice surprise there, Disney! =/

        • Vicki

I live in Florida too, so thanks for the explanation.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Oh bummer! SO sorry about that. Hoping they can resolve it for you real soon!

  22. Jen B

Does anyone know if this will work if you purchase through the app store?

  23. Helpmesave1313

Can you stream on multiple tablets at once? My kids both have their own tablet and would probably want to watch something different at the same time.

    • Amanda7141

Yes you can. My kids and I have been watching it on different TVs and tablets all at the same time.

    • RK

you can stream on 4 different screen at a time.

    • Helpmesave1313

Thank you so much for replying!! I will definitely subscribe now 🙂

  24. Kor

So you won’t get $10 off if you opt for Disney, hulu and ESPN option?

    • candace

No. Theres no yearly discount for the bundle which I found odd.

  25. Trudy

Ok so I just purchased it through Rakuten…now what do I do to get it on my tv?

Also…how does Rakuten work?…I loaded it for the extra $10, but I don’t really know how it works.
