Wa-hooo! Check out this smokin’ HOT Target deal you can score! Remember the Quaker gift card deal I posted about in the Target weekly deals? Well, it gets even sweeter because the Quaker Easy Express Oatmeal products are included in the gift card promotion! These Express Oatmeal products are priced at just $1.02 and you ONLY have to purchase 5 to score a $5 Target gift card!

Deal Scenario:
Buy 5 Quaker Easy Express Oatmeal $1.02 each
(it looks like the Golden brown sugar variety is all that’s available)
Pay $5.10
Get back a $5 Target gift card
Final cost ONLY $0.10 for ALL 5 Quaker Express Oatmeal products–just $0.02 each!

NEW UPDATE: You can also use the $1/1 Quaker coupon from here (NO size restriction) to turn this into  a nice little moneymaker!

I would recommend heading on over to Target very soon! These will most likely sell out fast!

(Thanks so much for this awesome find, TotallyTarget!)

Yippee! Just bought 10 for $1.02 each, plus used 10 of the $1 off coupons. Turned a profit of $9.80! I also got the Healthy Choice meals at the same time so obviously they didn’t refund me any money (nor would they have), but I walked out of the store with 10 packages of the oatmeal and 10 of the dinners for less than $5!

The single serve oatmeals are not producing the gift cards. The manager at my store called and told them to take the sign down that said you would receive the gc with 5 purhases. She did not give me a gift card but I did 2 seperate transactions and she took the $5 off like a manu coupon so my 10 single serves only cost me $.20. So glad I got there before they took down the sign LOL

mine worked just fine but only the brown sugar rung up with the gift card and they were $1.07 but 7 cents a piece still a really good deal I’m going back to another target tomorrow with 2 $1 off coupons so excited!!

The stores are having absolutely no love for me this week. There was only 1 oatmeal on the shelf, and, by the way, it did not have the buy five, get $5 GC tag at my store – while all the other oatmeal products did. So, I’m not sure this would have worked at my store. Hmmmm….

My Charlotte, NC Target would not honor the gift card even though there was a sign below that clearly stated that golden brown sugar easy express oatmeal was “buy five get a five $ gift certificate”. I talked to 2 managers and they wouldn’t budge, but they did take the sign down. 🙁

Sweet!!! I went to Target today and there were exactly 10 of the oatmeal cups left. I took them all…used 6 $1 off coupons….paid $4.20…..and recieved to $5 gift cards……can’t beat that!!!!

My Target wouldn’t price match the Quaker Oatmeal with Walgreens because it said 2/$5. It has to specifically say $2.50 or they won’t honor it. Pretty lame!

    yup

I tried to buy 10 of the brown sugar oatmeal cups today using 4 of the Quaker $1 coupons ( I was able to print 2 from each of our computers). The register did not prompt the cashier to issue a gift card at all. She actually tried reringing and doing some things to get around it, to no avail ( Target is not usually great on customer service so I was thankful for her help!).

I ended up going to customer service and returning the 10 cups. I tried and tried to explain to the girl that I had used $4 worth of coupons so she wouldn’t cheat the store but she still gave me the $10-something on a gift card. But they kept my coupons, so I guess I just “sold” some coupons essentially. =)

The cups at my store were priced .97 and did have a sign for the brown sugar variety only that told about the gift card deal. If I get to another store this week, I will see what the wording is on that sign — I betcha anything that it is only advertising the Quaker deal but that product is not included ( it is not listed in the write up in the ad). If so, VERY misleading!

If it does look like I can buy them, I will try buying 5 without a coupon and see what happens!

Glad some of you have gotten this deal to work!

I got my 5 on Tuesday and received my GC.. and I just went again today and bought 10 more and got 2 more GC’s! (They had just re-stocked.. there were plenty left!) I love my targets here in SoCal. They never ever give me any hassel.

I also found Baby Aveeno Sunblock on Clearance for $3.41 and I had a coupon for $2.00 off. But when I went to pay it rang up as $8.99. So off to Customer Service I went. The lady told me that the Clerance sticker was actually for the UP brand.. So I told her to please remove it. She said “no, you bought it”.. and adjusted down the price for me and gave me the difference in cash!!! Love Love my Target!!!

I’m new to this so, If I buy 10 oatmeals in one transaction does that mean I can get 10.00 in the gift card?

    • Janet

They should issue you 2 gc’s if you purchase 10 of the items. I rang up 25 and it prompted the cashier to give me five 5$ gc’s.

My Target in NJ did not have the cups included in the GC. Looks like I am the only one :(( Went to 2 diff. Targets and no deal 🙁
