Cool coupon! Off topic i miss seeing your videos back to back. I love your videos a great deal. I would love to see videos on clearence finds at target and such. Especially seasonal stuff. I can’t wait for the Halloween clearence. Last easter i scored huge at Target on easter clearence stuff, but i was just lucky enough to get their right on time. I see alot of ppl find such good clearence finds and then when i go to the store i don’t find as much their or it’s just all picked through. So Does anyone know when they usually clearence stuff at stores. Is their any way to ask the store? How does that work? I would love to know so i know when to go. I know alot of ppl have the same problems as me and can never find a huge score on clearence, and when it does happen it’s just out of luck and only happens once in a blue moon. I know a few ppl who always get in on all the clearence deals. So i think they must know the stores routine on mark downs. Can anyone tell me if theirs a secret to this? Or is it all by luck like i said???
Seasonal things usually go on sale the day after the holiday (or season) is over. As far as clearance, usually when a store is not selling an item it goes down. Also, if a manufacterer is changing a label or packaging on a product (ie. Huggies) Stores will then start to clearance the “old” item.
Every Store has their own clearnance cycle. They usually designate a day during the week that they begin clearanced sales (ie. Baby items; Sunday; Sporting goods: Friday) You should just ask your favorite store and they could possibly let you know. Hope that helps!
Target markdowns as follows Monday—-Kids clothing, stationary items, electronics and baby. Tuesday—-Domestics, Food Women’s clothing and Pets Weds.—Men clothing, Toys, Lawn and Garden. Thurs.—Housewares, shoes, Ligerie, sportinggoods, Music, Movies, Books, Decor, and Luggage. Fri.—Auto, cosmetics, Hardware, and Jewelry. I have found this is pretty accurate. Hope this helps. Don’t know about other stores.
There is a .75/1 coupon in 8/1 SS expires on 9/19/10. If did the deal on Sunday at CVS makes it a .25 moneymaker right?
the coupon expires 9/18, not 9/19. if your cvs does the next week’s deal on saturday night or if your store accepts expired coupons then YES. use it! i could be wrong, but it wouldn’t be a .25 moneymaker. you’d still end up paying .24….so .12 each

i was under the impression that you can sometimes get the next week’s sale prices on a saturday night but ECB’s wouldn’t print out ’til Sunday?
i’ve never had that problem. mine have always printed out saturday night. now if you have two conflicting deals for the same product from both weeks–that is where you run into trouble….or so i hear. 🙂
oh yeah, you gotta be careful with those overlapping sales! The computer picks the best price and sometimes its not always the ECB deals!
The only time an ECB won’t print is if its a 2 or 3 day sale (ie Sun, Mon or Sun, Mon Tues only) Those are programmed in the system at the sale price, but the ECB won’t print until Sunday.
But regular sales & ECB deals should be turned over at some point on Saturday for Sunday. Always best to ask. My fav store used to have the Sun sales ready around 3pm on Sat. But new manager and he doesn’t turn it over til 8pm or sometimes later that night. He’s really dampened my CVS spirit!
