What a great coupon! I’ve seen them go on sale 5 for $9. I LOVE the smart ones desserts!

  2. leigh

also there is a 1.00 off on 5 of them at the top of page under coupon tabs

  3. Crystal

The price at my store varies by what variety you buy. Some are 5/$9 and others are 4/$8. But my store seems to change their price on frozen items frequently.

    Thanks, Collin.

  5. fairydust

Can’t wait to get home and print this – can’t do it at work 🙂

  6. thecents2save

If you use Collins Coupon Database, search on Smart Ones, she has a $4 off 10 link to a survey listed. Do the survey (takes like 10 seconds) and you get a $4 off 10. Sweet!

    • julie

thank you so much!! what a SWEET DEAL!!

  7. leigh

not seeing it in her database got a link?

    • Suzanne

      THANK YOU!

    • peggy

Thank you for the link,I was going crazy looking for the database.

  8. Erin

If you have them, use 2 $5/5 coupons from Safeway’s $70 in Savings coupon booklet. If they go on sale 5 for $8, it would be $16 – $10 = $6 AND get a $5 Target giftcard back! That’s 10 cents a meal. 🙂

    • Vanessa

I was thinking the same thing! Wahoo!

      • Kiran

do u have any extra $5/5 coupon…if u can share then i can use two 🙂 have a good one

  9. Hooked on Bargains

I just called my Super Target here in Austin, TX and they range currently in price from $1.89 – $2.54. Use the Safeway coupons and you’ll pay $8.90 for 10 meals (at $1.89 each) and get back a FREE $5 gift card! Awesome! Hopefully they’ll go on sale even lower soon!

  10. Suzanne

Now I just need someone to wave their wand and provide me with some more freezer space!

    • Jennifer S

I hear ya on freezer space! Both are little freezer and deep freeze are full.

    • tilla ham

my little freezer is stuffed up to it’s chinny chin chin!!! maybe i’ll make the kids eat frozen meals for dinner so there is room for more…there is logic in that?!?!? right?

  11. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

This prints out with a generic barcode… I printed 2 from different computers, and they are the exact same!

    • Chaz

Look at the dot code in the upper right… they are different numbers. So they are in fact unique.

  12. imm93

These are UNIQUE since they have a tiny number on the bottom left hand side even though barcode is same.

  13. Chip

Score! I plan on using my $5/5 from the Safeway $70 Savings book. This is going to make for some cheap lunches. Thanks for the tip.

    • Kiran

do u happen to have any extra $5/5 extra coupon. I can use two coupons….i have moved from portland and i remember how convenient it was to get coupon books from the safeway…hope u have some extra…..i will appreciate it if any one got some extra coupons…thanks gal

      • pattil24

  14. jiya

out of paper & printer ink (-:

    • Kari

You can always hit print and when you replace your ink/paper the coupon will print. It stays in your memory … Atleast mine does. HTH 😀

  15. Erin

Watch the $4/10 Q. The registers will adjust it to the price of one meal! And some managers/cashiers refuse to correct it. I’ll be satisfied with the Healthy Choices I got cheap at Kroger today.

  16. Jodi

My printer automatically printed out 2 at once!

  17. Mitch

This is great, now I need 2 things – a sale and room in my freezer!
    thanks

I love sales on WW frozen items. They are just about the most flavorful entrees, etc out there.

  19. jocelyn

Sorry. This is off topic question. Last time I was a Target (McKinney, TX), check-out lady told me I can only use max. 3 coupons from same manufacturer per day. I asked her if it is in their coupon policy? (I know it is not in their online coupon policy.) She told me it is their store policy and is at their customer service counter. I wonder if anybody have the same experience. Also, when I check out, register keep on beeping and ask check-out clark to make sure the amount of the coupon is been discounted to the correct amount. I know that is suppose to help the clark to make sure register take off the correct coupon amount. However, it does dis-service more than anything. Check-out clark think there is something wrong with the coupons that I gave her. She check on every single one of them and call the manager over. Manager also look into my coupons long and hard………..it is a slow and painful process just to have the whole transaction done. I think I will post this at TotallyTarget as well to see if anybody have the same problem.

    • Anon

i havent had this problem but my registers do the same thing and the cashier just looks at the coupon to make sure the screen matches the coupon. Im thinking its a change in the system of them trying to fix the “robbing the customer” problem. Like high value coupons for the purchase of more then one only ringing up as the price of one *1 free item instead of the whole value of the coupon.

Maybe your store isnt aware of what its doing? Its just making sure you get the full value of your coupon Im thinking.

On a side note, if this could apply to maybe some of you. I use an EBT card for food benefit and I try real hard to make it stretch as things are tight right now. If you too use one for food and it makes a difference….watch your amount for food you are paying. If you think you should owe say 11.00 on your card and instead it says 14.00 look at your receipt. Some of your coupons for food (bringing your food total down) may be applied to non-food items. Thus making your cash amount you should pay less that food coupon..but making you deduct more from your food card.

This happened to me the other day I used that $5.00 off purchase of 5 Kraft items and the $5 came off the non food items total and my EBT food card was charged $5 more then expected. My receipt was correct, and I did get all my coupons applied, but just wasnt the way I thought and I had to check my receipt forever trying to figure it out.

Another nice deal. Just printed out the coupons. Did a similar deal a couple weeks back with Shoprite when they were giving out Catalinas on them. Wound up paying 29 cents per meal. Not too bad. Time to visit Target…

  21. Molly

Since you asked, the regular price at Target is anywhere from $1.99 to $2.79.. I may have been scoping it out earlier 😉

So even at the cheapest ($1.99) you will spend roughly $20. Then $2 off with the smartsource coupons ($18) then essentially $5 more off with the giftcard ($13) making them $1.30 a piece. Good deal, but only if you’ll eat them. Some are nasty (i.e. the new fruit ones).www.therookiechef.com

    • Anna @ Frugal For You

Don’t forget the survey coupon, it makes the scenario a little better:
      Buy 5 Smart Ones
      $2 x 10 = $20 (for the cheapest)
      -$1 off 5 x 2 PRINT
      -$4 off $10 Survey
      = $14 OOP
      -$5 Target GC
      =$9 for 10 meals or $0.90 each!

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Just looking at your scenario and My coupons, the $4/10 survey is a manufacturers coupons so you can’t use another $1 off 5 manufacturer’s coupon on top of that.

  22. Cindy

If you have a Target credit or debit card (I just got the debit card) you get an extra 5% off all purchases plus you can designate 1% to go to the school of your choice!

  23. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

i was in target to night and found the jimmy dean sausage egg and cheese 8 count for $4.48 and the 10 count jimmy dean sausage wrapped in a pancake for $1.24 for got the jimmy dean coupons that would have made a kick but deal!!!! BE ON THE LOOK OUT THEY ARE DOING THE 50% MARK DOWNS IN THE FROZEN FOOD!!!!

  24. Anna @ Frugal For You

OOPS nevermind, the $1/5 and $4./$10 are both manufacturer’s Qs!

  25. Kate

I did not read every post to see if anyone covered this, but there is also a $5/5 when you buy FIVE (5) Weight Watchers Smart Ones (exp. 11/9/2010) in the Safeway $70 booklet. I just found some in the freezer section at one Dominick’s and at another location I did not see any– but from that Dominick’s I had snagged them way earlier in the dairy section (eggs and also by the cheese) and then they once had them at the front desk. So if you did not find one they may have received more or are putting more out or ask the store manager/front desk.

So for Anna @ Frugal For You: is this a better deal for you?

$2 (for the cheapest) X 10 (to fulfill the Target coupon) = $20
    -(2) $5/5 Weight Watchers Smart Ones = $20.00 – $10.00 = $10.00 OOP
RECEIVE $5 TARGET GIFTCARD and that would bring them to $5.00 for a total of $ .50 each.
(Note this is you can find the $2.00 dinners)

Also I was able to print out two of the coupons by hitting the BACK icon.

  26. mary bee

    love your site…

  27. klorraine730

I filled out the form to get the Target gift card and nothing printed 🙁 I printed the $4/10 before I filled out the form. I wonder if that had something to do with it.

    Any suggestions???

    Thanks

  28. Lindsey

Awesome deal, can’t wait til they go cheaper to use my $5/5 Qs!

  29. Melissa Graves

I went to Target last night to pick up 10 SmartOnes and when the cashier scanned the $4/10 coupon it deducted $1.99 not $4. If I hadn’t been only buying those meal and hadn’t been paying close attention I might not have noticed! It basically took off 1 meal (they were all $1.99 each) so then when she scanned the $5 gift card coupon it wouldn’t work b/c the computer showed I had only purchased 9 meal not 10. Why are Target computer doing these weird things now. I got had to go to customer service to get it all straight but what is Target up too? She didn’t write on the coupon and change it to $1.99 so when they turn that coupon back in to the manufacturer aren’t they being reimbursed for the full $4? I am worried about shopping there now. If I had a whole handful of coupons it would be hard to watch and track that they full coupon amounts are being deducted. Is Target corporate aware of what the computers have started doing?

  30. Corrine

I had that same problem at my Target yesterday 2. The $4 coupon ran up as $2.54 which was the price of one meal. So the girl did whatever and fixed it to make it $4 off. At least they were nice about it. I didn’t notice either until the final price was what I thought it was supposed to be and I asked….. She woulda let it go through as the $2.54 off if I wouldn’t have chimed in!
