You can check it for yourself. I love a good deal but caution needs to be exercised as well.

Last time I ordered FREE business card holder from 1sale a day. It was supposed to have a FREE shipping, but it came in a regular envelope with a 43c stamp like a letter. My post office sent me a notice that I am the one, who is responsible for paying the difference in shipping. This card holder is, of course, heavier then a letter, and they know that. NOT SO FREE AFTER ALL! And honestly I would be embarrassed to carry my business card in this holder anyway!
I’ve ordered a number of things from 1SaleADay in the past, and while nothing is high-quality, everything I received was new and in good condition. I would say it’s a YMMV situation, but something like this — free is free 🙂
I have had no problem getting my free items delivered as promised. All items have been new and delivered in good condition. While the quality of the items has been on the cheap side…they were FREE! I think they will make perfect stocking stuffers or gift basket items.

I ordered the free headset last time that was posted and it came yesterday. It had all the coating chipped off and it was discolored. It was very gross and went straight in the trash. It did not bother me since I did not pay for it, but after that I would certainly never pay for anything from their website!
I got mine two days ago and it was in perfect condition. Nothing wrong with it at all.
I got the headset too and it was definitely used (the “Verizon wireless” logo was barely legible and the mouth piece that stuck out had a big scratch on it). I wonder if these were refurbished. I email Collin but I think that it was during the time that her email went lost. So glad to hear I wasn’t the only one who was troubled by what I got.
Mine too. The coating was completely worn away on the part that goes by the mouth. I noticed that after trying to figure out how it was to fit in my ear since it was at an odd angle and when I gently tried to turn it, it broke right in half! I laughed it off since it truly was free. My 6 yo daughter said I should return it and ask for my money back, lol. I said as soon as I throw it in the trash, I did both! 😀
I have received two free items and one item that I paid for through this website, and all came quickly, and the watch I bought was gorgeous. All of the products were new.
I ordered a Shark refurbished vacuum cleaner from them and a Nook that was refurbished. Both came with no issues and still work fine. I bought the Shark before doing any research on the company. After I bought the Nook I did look into them because I read some things online like this. What I learned was that they make a deal with companies for a huge number of their items, post the deal, how ever many are sold they order that number from the company, when they are delivered to them they send them to people who purchased them. Supposedly, they don’t know what condition they are sent to them in because they are boxed at that time. I figure if you buy things that aren’t that expensive and come to them from reputable companies there shouldn’t be much of a concern. I wouldn’t buy something from them that is from a company I’ve never heard of. I’ve also found from watching their deals and other one day sale companies you can find the item for sale some where else eventually. I’ve had the Shark since December and the Nook for about 3 months. Just my thoughts.
You are right. I received the free headset in the mail today – an offer they had last week. All the paint is missing from one side and the ear piece is cracked in half. Not sure if it is a quality issue or mailing issue. There was no padding sent along with it so it very well could be postal handling. It is light plastic and easy enough to break just from regular handling.
To those of you who think it’s ridiculous to whine about something free – I get it, but I have also considered getting in on the deals they offer, in which I am required to give credit card information. I wouldn’t want a company like this with my financial information on hand if they don’t even offer the products they say they are.
The free offers are an obvious way to get us to look at their other items, in hopes of scoring something free. Had I given my credit card information for this I would have been quite upset and so I understand why those that received items in poor condition are angry.
I will be contacting the company. After all, they did not include that the item is a damaged piece of crap in the disclosures while I filled in my information. It’s misleading and wrong, no matter what.
I recieved my headset also and the mouth piece doesn’t work at all. It looked new otherwise, but useless now.
I got a note in my mailbox that I owe $1.27 for postage for the last deal , the free business card holder. I am not picking the package up. Did this happen to anyone?
Mine was delivered without a problem, however its made so cheaply, its not even worth the $1.27 you need to pay in order to get it from the PO. Threw mine away.
That happened to me! I didn’t know what package I had so I drove to the post office and paid the $1.27. It is a cheap item. Dollar store quality.

I personally wont be ordering from 1SaleADay again. The business card holder arrived with not enough postage so I had to pay even more for it! Plus its VERY cheaply made, it bends easier than an aluminum can! I just dont like the quality of their products, even if it is free its just not worth the effort.
ive gotten stuff from them a few times, granted they arent the BEST quality…but i always get the item ordered.

I have to agree with others – I got quite the good laugh at the money clip from the last special they ran 😉 but I just tossed it in our donate box; maybe someone will have a cute use for it (like clipping it to a card with money as a present?). I had to pay postage on the business card holder too.. can’t beat free stuff, but i had to pay postage for it and i ended up throwing it away, the edges were so sharp and with a house full of people with clotting disorders I didn’t dare keep it around!

On the whole, I have been VERY pleased with 1SaleADay. I have bought a lot of their regular items, and as an unemployed person, have been very grateful to be able to get such great stuff at a price I can still afford. Normally, I wouldn’t be able to get such neat items for presents or use. So far I got my boyfriend a device that can convert his iPad touch into a universal remote for $9.99 (just a crazy gift for his birthday for the guy who has everything and was crazy about his iPad), an eReader for myself for $64.99 (which is working better than other people I know who paid at least twice as much for theirs), a Kodak EasyShare digital camera for $49.99, a 4GB MicroSDHC for $2.99 (wish I’d bought more of those!), a 250GB Hard drive for $79.98, the free money clip (I use it more like a special purse paperclip, sometimes for coupons, sometimes to mark a page in my coupon binder), a smoky quartz necklace and ring set for $14.99, that I’ve worn almost every day since I got it nearly a month and a half ago, a USB Vinyl Turntable (that lets you convert records into digital files) for $59.98, a Network Adapter for $8.97 (that must have been for my BF, because I don’t remember it or even remember what it is for), two different free headsets (the first was fancier, as it let you adjust the volume on the earpiece, but the microphone was too short on both to be heard clearly – I was really thinking of just using them as an extra for when I need to use my computer sound quietly, so nice to have extras of them around – no problem with the shipping, and I liked the long ziplock bag they were in for other items), a black and white diamond bracelet for $19.99 (the diamonds were teeny, but it had a safety clasp that really clung on and was a nice oval shape so it didn’t spin around on your wrist, got it for my mum and I still think it was a great deal at that price), the free business card holder (flimsy, yes, but super lightweight, and I kept the little plastic envelope it was in for extra purse protection, and mine was in a real pretty Caribbean blue), a really cool “IP black lava” watch for my brother-in-law for Christmas that looks like a black steel bracelet, and the time ‘appears’ within the webbing when you press a button (hard to describe, but major cool factor) $9.98, a LED headlamp and the screwdriver set (each was $1 with free shipping – wonder how y’all got it for free?!, that I thought would make great stocking stuffers for my BF). All-in-all I’ve been really happy with everything. I checked the prices out before I bought, watched youtube videos on how they worked when the item was pricer and they were available. I think the bracelet was the only thing the picture looked better than it actually looked, but that is usually true with jewelry, I’ve found – special lights and enhancements to make them sparkle more, but still a good buy. They give me tracking numbers for the packages. And I always use PayPal to pay for them, so I don’t have to give them any of my credit card info. I LOVE the site, and check every night to see what they will have. The free stuff is giveaway quality, like you would expect with someone giving out free keychains or such, and the $1 LED headlamp is better than Dollar Store quality, and the pricey items have all been great quality for the money.
