    thanks nice deal 🙂

  2. Megan

The site seems to be running slow right now. Makes me wonder how many people aren’t military that are using the site :-/

    • Renea

I wonder, too. I hope that isn’t the case, but it looks like it is! I can’t get in. 🙁

  3. Melanie

I am sure they are Megan, thats how some ppl give couponers a bad name.

  4. Megan

Yes — really ruins it for someone that is ACTUALLY a military spouse. Quite ridiculous!

    • ter

Do you think it is only for military people not for spouses of military personnel? i am confused.

  5. Chandra

This is a new military website to me! I thought I had all the coupon sites for the commissary, but I guess I was wrong. Thanks for the heads up!!

    • shanshan

      Hi Chandre,

I’d like to know what other sites are out there other than AAFES.com? I’m so clueless. My husband had 5 deployments since 9-11 and we go to the commissary like once every other year. Sounds like I’ve been missing out a lot and I do not personally know any other military wife…

      • Leaneth J

Shanshan why would you only go to commissary once every other year? I was in for 8 years and I went thousands of times?

        • Shanshan

Our kids and I used to live in Canada, 5 hours away from the closest commissary. 16 months ago we finally moved to the U.S to join my husband, where the closest commissary is 90 minutes away, and right away my husband got deployed to Iraq for 1 year. If I go to the commissary I don’t think the money saved is gonna compensate the drive with 3 young kids, 90 min each way, plus the gas money…

I’m just lucky I know how to coupon now. So I just go to any grocery stores that double coupons and save 50%-90% all the time!

It’s my bad to ask a guy (my husband) what benefit do I get to be a military wife. He told me discount at McDonald’s and that’s it, and I believed him! (And none of the McDonald’s here honor that…)

  6. Megan

It shows how many dishonest people there are in this world :-/

  7. Renea

Keep trying IF you are military. 🙂 I just got in and printed all of the coupons. Thanks, Collin, from one military wife to another!

  8. samirae

Bummer no military in my household and I just ran out of mayo. Oh well I may just have to pay full price this time 🙂

    • Tammy

It is usually a very good price at Aldis if you have one in your area. HTH

  9. Anna

The website should ask for a special code or something so only Military Members can get this deal. Very rude of non military members to abuse this.

    • Amy

Other sites limit eligibility to those of us with a .mil email addy. That would solve the problem!!

  10. Michelle R

What a great extra bonus to help out our military families! They deserve any extra that they can get. In my opinion, there isn’t enough for their sacrifices. I personally don’t mind the exclusion.

  11. Brandee

It’s very RUDE of everyone to assume that others are abusing these coupons just because the site is running slow. And to call non-military couponers dishonest based on an assumption is ridiculous. Grow up people!!!

    • This Mama Knows

I agree, and I’m the one who submitted this deal to Hip2Save! I guess I will think twice next time since there are so many mean spirited assuming people! SHEEEESH!

      • Marnie Hammond

I’m a military wife and personally want to Thank you for posting this deal. There is always going to be people who complain and assume but hopefully the good out weigh the bad. Thank you so much!

    • Clyde, aka CouponKing25

Hey Brandee, Thanks for your comment. I am of a military background, spent time in both active duty army and reserves. Now I am enjoying civilian life!!! Not everybody is abusing the military site. Maybe some of these women should stop and think where they came from before becoming military dependents/spouses!!! They too were civilians!!! Keep up the good work and please continue to share your awesome discoveries. Peace, and May God Bless you, and Our Troops!

i was able to print the miracle whip one before the site completely crashed on me. that was the main one i needed. my hubby is in the marines and loves taking sandwiches and wraps to work so the miracle whip doesn’t last long. Thanks so much for letting us know about this one!

  13. bre

Wow people can complain about anything!! Have you ever considered the site may be running slow because this info was just spread by all of the MANY couponing sites and MANY people are in the military or related to someone that is. Yeah there may be some people logging on that should not but you do not knwo that for a fact. So take the coupons that are offered there for you FOR FREE and stop complaining. Thank you Collin for posting this. Unfortunately I can not and will not take advantage of this because neither my spouse or I are in the Military.

  14. Janell

What about veterans? My husband was in the Army!?

    • Renea

I would absolutely say YES, Veterans SHOULD qualify! And I think everyone here would agree! 🙂

      • Vicki

you can…the site clearly says military families and vets…I agree geez..I am not currently serving at this very moment…like Collins hubby. BUT, I have a long long line of military vets through each and every war going back to WW1…Holy Cow Happy New Years grumps. 🙂

    • nicole

I was wondering that too. My husband was in the Marine Core but it as for the nearest base. We are not on a base. He has been out for over 10 years.

      • Vicki

you can in this case…I wish more sites offered these deal for vets AND NOT just active status…the vets are in many cases forgotten…but, am grateful that this site lets me HELP my uncle and dad….we go to Patrick AF Base about once a month due to the hour drive and age…they are now 80’s and served PROUDLY in Korea and Nam! So don’t feel bad and use this site and get those coupons 🙂 I had NO problem printing so I don’t think it is getting slammed as some are saying.

  15. Renea

I sure don’t want to get on my soapbox here… but there are a lot of people who DO complain about any kind of benefits the military get. I have personally been in line at and overheard a couple discussing how “unfair” it is that military families get 20% off their meals at my local Chick-Fil-A. I immediately turned around and said, “Well, at least you get to sit here and ENJOY your chicken sandwich with your wife while my husband is in Iraq fighting so that you CAN have the freedom to do so!” They both just stood there with their mouths hanging wide open… speechless. So yeah, maybe some of us military wives and moms might have a small chip on our shoulders due to the RUDENESS of a handful of people.

    • Bretts34

      Renae,

Speak for yourself. You (and the others above) who think you have a right to have a chip on your shoulder need a reality check. As a military spouse for over 16 years, I’m thankful for the benefits we sometimes receive. Yet, I’m also not ignorant enough to make nasty comments about people I know nothing about over a COUPON. Being rude is a choice YOU make – maybe it should be over something of a little more importance than a coupon… I often read the comments here just to check if anyone has tips on it, it hasn’t worked out for them, if there’s even a better deal to use it with, etc. While the majority on here seem to be helpful – you (and a few of the others above) should be ashamed of the nasty, attacking, condescending comments that are posted. I love to save money – but, to be so rude over saving a few dollars is a ridiculous waste of breath.

      • Renea

Um, yeah… if you can point out where I was rude, I will glady retract whatever it is I said that was rude. However, when somebody in line behind me complains loud enough so that I can hear about my 20% military discount (which, by the way, ended up being 80 cents) while my husband is fighting on the front line and putting his LIFE on the line for ALL OF US… don’t you EVEN think I am gonna stand there and take it. Speak for YOURSELF… if you don’t have a problem with thankless, unpatriotic Americans, especially being a military spouse – then you absolutely DO have a problem. A very big one indeed.

        • Kelly

Like I said I have been there, I am a former Navy wife, I would think after 16 yrs. you would develop a ‘thick skin’ I know I did, b/c I heard a lot of the ‘military spouse’ stereotypes…I spent the five years of my marriage with my husband gone for three of them, I drove myself to the hospital in labor b/c no one from the ‘support group’ didn’t want to get involved, believe me I have seen it, heard during our time in…especially about the discounts!

      • Kelly

@Bretts34 I wish you had read Renae’s post she was actually defending military, but I think by the time you got to her post, you either misread it or didn’t read it at all? So how you directed your post to her was totally unfair & you apologize to her, imho!

        • Kelly

          ^you should apologize

          • Renea

Thank you, Kelly, for sticking up for me. I was neither rude or nasty or any of the things she called me. I was actually very nice to those people at Chick-Fil-A. Which made them feel even worse, I think, for what they said.

            • Beth

Go you! Not rude at all. As a military wife the same stuff f gets u der my skin!

  16. Kelly

Honestly, I don’t think that we give our military members enough discounts, as a former Navy spouse, these men and women are putting their life on the line, and if they are given 10% here or 20% there on a purchase then what’s the big deal? They are sacrificing so much for our freedom, so if I have to pay a little more, then so be it! Thanks Collin!

  17. Tomoko

Great coupons! I was just browsing around the site and found great deal for Disney world too. Thank you so much,Collin!

  18. shanshan

Military wife here who live too far away to enjoy commissary, and too clueless about any of the discount, website that’s being mentioned here. Hubby went to 4 deployments, just back from Iraq and now jobless and we’re living off my stockpile. It doesn’t bother me. I’m just so happy he came back alive again, and our 3 kids coped well.

We all have our moments of “borrowing” zip code on coupons.com to get coupons not intended for ourselves , or print the Publix or Hawaii coupons and use it somewhere else. Or use an online translator so that we can sign on to a sample/coupon program in Spanish. I’d say, “Let the one without sins cast the first stone.”

Count the blessings and rejoice in the savings you do get.

    • Kelly

VERY well said. I absolutely agree.

      • bre

So true… first of all the ladies above got nasty towards non military people because they had to wait awhile for a website to load. Second of all I can almost guarantee that most of those same women have printed coupons that were not intended for them. Look in the mirror ladies and don’t be so hypocritical.

  19. Debby

Thanks for the awesome coupons Collin! My husband is an inactive reserve in the Marines and a Veteran, so I am very thankful for him (and all others who serve)!

  20. johnya

Thanks for posting collin i was actually heading to the commissary today and really appreciate you posting the deal please don’t stop on account of people having nothing better to do but to be ungrateful and complain. thanks again

  21. Deb R

How does one see all of the commnet in the string. The last comment I see is number 20 out of 42 Thanks

    • Jennifer

It’s replies on comments. Just like I did to your comment that adds up to the 42. Hope that helps!

  22. Shanshan

Hi Deb R. Before you left a comment there were only 20 comments. I don’t see 42 total… Your comment is #21 and the one you’re reading right now is #22
