  2. Heather

    How much does this cost???

    • Kim

Heather, it’s usually around $4.00 at Walmart w/o a sale. This is a real nice coupon to snag!

      • Heather

Thanks Kim 🙂 I just wondered… not a cleaner I usually purchase and wondered if it was worth the ink 🙂 I only printed one!!!

        • Joy

Heather..it’s the best Mold and Mildew cleaner I have ever used for the shower maybe once a month..then on daily basis I use their daily shower cleaner or the Arm & Hammer one.. I am like you..about ink.. Does anyone know is there a way to save more on ink? I have my printer on ‘black ink only’..but still went through an XL cartridge of black ink in 6 weeks time..granted I am new to Collin’s site and tried to print all the deals..but have since found out I will just print what I ‘think’ I will use. (example: I have a stack of expired IPs for the overseas military from this past 2 months that I didn’t use) Anyone have any helpful hints on saving ink ..I have a wireless HP Photosmart Premium C310 Series..I checked the remanufactured ink cartridges at Office Depot the other day.. and they are only a couple bucks cheaper..might as well go for HP brand.. Any other places online you all order ink cartridges at a great price? remanufactured is fine for black in for me..color I’d rather use HP though. Thanks everyone..

ps..if anyone knows someone personally in the overseas in the military that can use expireds..plmk..I am looking for someone that can use a box filled to the max since Novembers expired coupons..and with January’s coming up..But I don’t want to have to sort them..I just want to mail them and be done with it..put your email if you know someone..I will contact you. Thanks..you all are great people here..Collin you Rock!

Look into getting a laser printer. I paid $50 for ink two years ago and the cartridge is still going strong. I have been couponing more seriously for about 6 months.

            • francoise

I agree that a laser printer is the way to go. In the past few years, the price of black and white laser printers has dropped to about only 10-25% more than a color inkjet. Right now, I have a black only laser printer. It’s fast, quiet, and best of all, the cartridges can be refilled with toner (just like an inkjet printer’s can be refilled with ink). In fact, it’s easier, cheaper (about $8-12 for refill toner on Amazon or eBay) AND I only have to refill about every 6-9 months!

I’m more concerned about the cost of paper, and you know how cheap that can be with rewards and rebates! I will never go back to an inkjet, especially now that color lasers are getting more affordable.

look an amazon.com. you can find the cheapest ink there

Between their reward program and ink cart recycle program, staples is tough to beat. I have an hp wireless printer (thanks to apple) and print 10-20 3 coupon pages a day. Staples offers double rewards every couple weeks which significantly reduces the overall cost of ink.

I have an HP photosmart 7660 (kinda old) and what i do is refill the black cartridges myself. I got a kit from walmart for about $14 it has all the instructions (make a hole on top of the cartridge and under the sticker, insert the ink bottle until you feel a sponge, push several cc’s of ink and voila). Very imporat clean cartridges heads (metal thingy) with the provided wet towellete.
I have only tried it on my black, which is the only cartridge that i keep on my printer and saved a bunch of money.
Not all walmarts carry the kit, but i have actually order it online too from their website.

trick to saving ink is to buy a new xl ink cartridge and refillable ink kit. check the internet for instructions on how to refill your cartridge. Important thing is to refill your cartridge at regular intervals, adding just one or two cc’s each time. Do not let the cartridge get to empty. Sometimes printers read the serial number and say “no no” this cartridge was empty yesterday and now full today, you’re not fooling us. Printer companies are not dummies and they make their money from the uber-expensive cartridges.

you can purchase super cheap refill ink on amazon. i got a six pack of 6 ounce bottles for $13 which should last many years.

Plus always print in black/white on the economy or fast draft setting.

What a bizarre video! I couldn’t look away! Almost as creepy as the scrubbing bubbles one from a while back in which the bubbles are leering at a woman taking a shower! LOL
