Calling all college students! Did you know that you can score a FREE 6 month Amazon Prime membership (a $39 value)?! To qualify, you must have a valid .edu email address and you’ll need to specify your college, year, and major. Just go here to check out all the details and sign up!

Hmm signed up with my school email address and they charged me a dollar? That is strange since this is supposed to be free. I hope the charge drops off, now i’m worried it will charge me the full price…

Stores do that all the time. I think it’s just to see if your account works or something. It will go away

You can only do it once because it is simply a free trial; I did this last year and then after six months got charged full price because it automatically signs you up for renewal, so make sure you change the settings after you sign up!

Interesting…DH and I had a student membership the entire time he was back in school. Plus, when he graduated, we got an offer for 50% off Prime–which we are still getting three years later (it was just renewed at half price).

Nevermind, answered my own question when I went to sign up for it. It does allow you to stream videos free!

I think the 6 months free trial only includes the shipping, not the videos, but you can upgrade, or decline the 6 month free trial and pay $39 to get the streaming;)
