I’m normally a very loyal Viva paper towel buyer. What are people’s stock-up prices on Bounty?

    • ash

I try to stock up at about $.50 per roll. This seems like a good deal for the brand. Just depends on weather or not you need them.

  2. Catie

I was wondering the same thing…what is a good price for paper towels?

  3. gary

This is the same deal this week in-store. Use two $0.25 off coupons from coupons.com to save $0.50 if you don’t care about free shipping.

  4. brandice

Seems like a good deal to me…shipped to house and a GC as well
    Bounty is the best

IF you have an Albertsons nearby you can also get a great deal $.68 per role. Buy 4 packages pay $36, get $15 catalina back.

Plus 2.5% on Shop At Home and Ebates

    • Michelle

How does Ebates work when you buy something and earn a free gift card?

  7. Amanda C

    Sweet deal Collin, thanks!

    • nicolegammeter

      You’re welcome! 🙂

  8. Carol

I think you can price match to staples which are $5.99 with instore coupon. Correct me if I’m wrong….

    • nicolegammeter

      Hi Carol!

Target will match the Staples advertised price, but not their in-store coupon. Hope that helps!

  9. Stacy

Thanks for the heads up Collin, and thank you Target for the free shipping!!! Great deal for not having to leave the house! 🙂

    • nicolegammeter

Love a great deal that can be scored from home! 🙂

  10. Sue

Thanks so much Collin! Just ordered some for my roommates to split for my new apartment.

  11. Sara-Lynn

Won’t let me ship to my home! 🙁

  12. Hilary

    Says ahipping unavailable?

    • JAMI

I only see “available for store pick up” – so maybe not available anymore for shipping? Darn.

      • Becky

It did that to me so I chose a store for pickup. Then on the next screen it let me change to delivery. Hope that helps!

        • JAMI

Thank you so much! I was able to change to delivery too.

  13. Michelle

I’m new to Ebates. I read the small print to say the Target free gift card bonus will be given minus the Ebates cashback amount. Is that right?

  14. G

Free delivery option is not available even when I tried to change it 😕

  15. donna r.

this will not ship to home. Says sold in store only on the Target website. Bummer!

  16. anne

is there a limit on how many you can buy?

  17. Linda

When I attempt to take advantage of this great deal, it looks like it is only available for store pick-up. Is anyone else having this problem, too?

I learned a long time ago that you can’t depend on the cost of a “roll”, whether it’s for paper towels or toilet paper because roll size can vary greatly between packages. You need to calculate how much it is per square foot (which is right on the package). This is actually not a better deal compared with Costco. If you take $9.99/384 sq/ft that comes out to $.026/sq ft. Costco’s brand is $15.99/1056 sq/ft and that’s $.015 sq/ft. Even if you get the $5 gift card from Target, $14.98/768 sq/ft (for the two packages) is $.019. Granted, it’s fractions of a penny but over time it adds up. Doing this calculation is the only true way to know which is cheaper – you cannot compare the cost of “rolls” to each other!

    • Jennifer Reinders

you have to compare each brand individually. Costco may be cheaper but not great quality. Generic paper products will always be cheaper than a brand like Bounty or Viva but do not work as well. Within each brand you should check the per unit price. Different sizes are different prices. Buying bigger or in bulk is usually better.

      • Vicki Neulinger (@vickeigh)

I disagree. Costco products have far surpassed most name brand products in my opinion.

  20. L

I did this deal in stores and used two 50 cent off Bounty coupons that I found on coupon.com. It makes them even cheaper! 🙂

    • L

      Sorry I meant 2 .25 cent coupons that equal 50 cents. 🙂

Thanks Collin! This is my preferred brand- very effective and with the “select a size” you do not have to use a whole sheet. Just another way to save!
