Did anyone get their membership card from a few weeks ago when they had the new mom offer? I got an email saying the card will be mailed but still have not received it,
I just got the flier in the mail last week. Says I have til Nov 22 to activate.
Same here! I tried the number 10+ times and always got the busy signal so I just emailed (before the deal ended) and it arrived last week.
I haven’t from the New Mom promotion. I called a week or two after and the message said to wait two weeks and something would come in the mail. I’m pretty sure that 2 weeks has come and gone and still nothing. I’m wondering if I should venture into the store…?
Still waiting on my mailer too. I called the customer service # a few weeks ago and they said due to a high response, the mailers will be mailed out by Oct 30 (as long as you contacted them before the deal ended). But I don’t feel confident in receiving mine, seeing that it’s only 2 days away from the deadline! I’m gonna call again

I got my mailer about a week ago from the baby promotion. It looked like the mailers from Babies R Us with the little coupon card inside it. I took the whole mailer to my Sams yesterday and I just needed my license. They were supposed to go out around 10/15 and expire 11/22.
Yes. I too had emailed before the cutoff because I couldn’t get through on the phone. They replied the next day saying that it would be sent in a mailer on October 15, and I received it on the 15th and have until Nov 22 to activate it. By reading the comments here, it sounds as if there were two different delivery dates on the mailers. Hope you get yours too!!!

maybe cancel your membership (get your money back) then buy this voucher under someone else name and have that person add you for the second card member.
IS there a cancellation issue of you don’t like Sams? I love Costco but have not tried Sams,
They’re website says they have a 100% satisfaction guarantee on their membership but doesn’t go into detail on what happens if you want to cancel. I’m not sure how it works when you go through groupon though. You’re not actually paying Sam’s for the membership, you’re paying groupon for a voucher.
I cancelled mine with only about 2 months left of membership bc we were moving where where wasn’t a sams and we got the full membership fee refunded.
For anyone who has done this in the past, if i order today, could i go to the store today with a temporary card, our do i have to wait? Not a current member, but this looks great.
When I have done this in thr past, you just print out the voucher from groupon (you get this immediately), then I took it to sams and got my card! It isn’t a temp card, it is your permanent one. No waiting for anything! Hope this helps!
I didn’t even have to print out the voucher just pulled up the groupon and had the sams clerk click thru the redeem process on my phone

Hi, does anyone know which is better sam’s or costco in terms of car rentals?
I have both Sam’s and Costco. For vacation this year Costco was the best deal I could find anywhere on the rental car. However, over the years I’ve found the best deals seem to vary from year to year and vendor to vendor.
If you download the Sam’s club app on your smart phone, you will have a card you can use immediately. I did this deal a couple weeks ago, downloaded the app, with card and used it the same day.

I would save your money. If you love Costco, stick with it. I had a Costco membership last year and got a Sam’s Club this year – and I’m missing Costco. Some items are slightly cheaper at Sam’s but are smaller sizes. Example – Costco has a 4 lb Kraft sliced cheese and at Sam’s it was 3 lb for the same price. Same with the big jar of pickles, it’s smaller at Sam’s. Not to mention the terrible costumer survive, and I got a piece of pizza last week at Sam’s and it was lukewarm.
Has anyone noticed price hikes on items on coupons? When items are on sale/coupon, I think they hike up the price and the week after, it’ll back down. I stumbled across that when I was working as a vendor inside Costco. I’m seeing the same thing at Sam’s Club.
My sister has both memberships. There are some things that are only carried by one store. Find someone to split the memberships with and then the price isn’t so bad.
I’ve always been hesitant to become a member of Sam’s Club, because I loved Cosco so much. But, this is a better than free deal. So I finally jumped on board:) Thanks Collin!

Right now there is a promo at Costco that I believe goes through the end of the year. If a Costco member brings in a friend and they purchase a membership both the “old Costco member” and the “new Costco member each get a $10 Costco gift card. Not a great deal but definitely something.

Can you still get the $10 dollar gift card with $15 gift card for signing up when you are a military? I was a member and if something I am just qualified for $10 dollar gift card. Last year for signing up I got $15 dollar gift card cause of military.
I’m guessing it’s one or the other. Sams has a military membership card, student card, regular card. In this case you’d be signing up for a regular card not membership

You can buy this, go to sams club and ask them to cancel your current membership. They will give you your $ back, then you give them your groupon and they sign you right back up. Did this last year because at my work benefits fair they had a rep there and a very good promo like this going on. She let me in on what to do.

I have both Costco and Sam’s membership and I honestly love them both! Different selections at both stores. I have noticed that Sam’s will reduce their meat at certain times. I buy different gifts at different stores. For this price, try Sam’s out. And i do the same, i am the primary and i share the membership with my Brother. Sam’s has more baby items, snacks, wipes, diapers etc. Go for it and if you’re not happy you can always cancel.

This might be a silly question, but if you were a member previously, and did not renew before your membership expired, would you now be considered a new member if you decided to join?
Must be at least 6 months time lapse between memberships. You would be a new member at the 6 month point otherwise you can not take part in this offer!

Just searched my club online for the free pastry platter and cheesecake… neither was available at my club. I guess this means I would not be able to redeem those offers?
Learned from my Costco, cheesecakes etc are available for the holidays only. So during the rest of the time, ice cream is all you will find. It may be similar at your Sam’s.
Bought the groupon and went to redeem. They would not accept my groupon on my phone. I asked if I could go ahead and shop since I was already there and had my two yr old out of the car. She said she would charge me 10% fee on top of my total do to that. WTF the lady was being super rude and my daughter left crying bc I had promised her pizza from there.

Sam’s has great deals but they are behind with the times. That’s terrible. U also can’t pay your credit card bill instore. Online only. At least at the ones where i live. They need to get with it

I got this offer last time and they gave me the gift card immediately. It took a few days for the free offers to be loaded to my card. I just showed my groupon on my phone, super easy. Hope this helps!

Yes, this is just like any membership. You will have to simply have your husband show his id to claim his complimentary card.

No, just the basic membership. There are occasionally deals to get a plus membership for the basic price, but they do not do that with these offers that have free food.
Still good deal. I miss earning $10 after you spend $500….the only things we actually buy at Sam’s are rotisserie chicken, gas, rice, and maybe clearance items (if Collin post them!)

I just had the exact same thing happen to me this week, the associate did not enter the code. I had to ask twice just to get the gift card. Go back and ask for a manager and show them the groupon deal and tell them that you never received the food vouchers. My local store manager wasn’t surprised and issued me a $40 gift card right then.

Apparently a lot of people have been having this same issue. Basically the clerk is not reading all of the bonuses that come with this deal and are not inputting the vouchers. Go back to Sam’s and ask that a manager fix this. They will tell you it is too late to put the vouchers on and will instead give you a gift card for the value.
I joined the Sam’s Club and was suppose to get a $20 gift certificate and a free chicken at Sams. I have never received my $20 gift certificate or my chicken. What can I do to get them? I contacted Sam’s and they were no help.
