I did read the fine print but I just want to make sure…this cant be used until Sept?

Just remember when you use fandango tickets you usually have to buy the tickets on the fandango website and pay an extra online fee. We had a fandango gift card and had to pay and extra $3.00 in fees wen we ordered our tickets. so just beware it may not be as good of a deal as you think

If you use fandango a lot even if you don’t have an AMC near you join stubs club only $12 a year and no fandango fees on any transaction. Collin posts a lot of fandango years so I usually use fandango more than 4 times a year. I do however have an AMC near me and also get free concession upgrades and cheaper tickets on Tuesday once I spend $100 I also get $10 credit.
That’s wrong. I bought stub hubs hoping it would work at other theaters but it doesn’t. The fee is only waived for an amc theater.

Not a good deal for me, tickets at our theater are only $9.50, my husband is in college and can get the student tickets for $8 so it is no savings for us.
Since tickets are cheap in your area, you also use these tickets to cover 3D, IMAX and IMAX 3D.
just a warning, I ordered tix from fandango for my fiancé and his bff for a midnight release of a movie. My fiancé got stuck at work, and missed the movie. I called fandango to let them know and asked if I could choose a different time. Keep in mind I ALSO paid extra money for them to see it in 3d. After talking to 1 fandango rep and then his supervisor, they would not let me choose a different time. I told them look, keep my money I just want a different time, he was forced to stay at work, etc. After leaving me on hold for over 30 mins to discuss they, they said no!
Needless to say, I didn’t want to ruin my fiancées b day surprise and be out over 30$ so I had to drive to the actual theatre they were bought for, talk to a manager and she agreed to let me change the time.

Same thing happened to me Fandango has bad customer service.
You can call the theatre. If you have unused tickets they usually have no problem exchanging. Fandango is very clear that they have free refunds and exchanges anything at least 2 hours before the showing. Probably because after that it is in the theatres hands.
Yeah I’d say if you contacted fandango before he missed the movie they probably could have helped.
My theater let me exchange tickets but I had to go to the theater before the movie time.

Just so everyone knows, if you need to get refunded because you can’t make a movie, you have to contact them no later than 2 hours before your showtime. If you use a promotional discount like this, you’ll only be refunded what you paid out of pocket AFTER the codes. So make sure you can actually make this movie or you can make it to the theater to return them before your showtime. Hope this helps!

I just tried it again and it still works for me. It says you have to use it on the mobile or desktop website. It won’t work if you use it within the groupon app.
