We have this, got it from Amazon 5 years ago and my kids so loves it!!! Definitely worth investing in one 😊
Everytime I see this posted, I am dying to get it. I have 3 kids and I think they would enjoy it. My husband thinks it would be a PIA to take down after every use and would get moldy. Can anyone shed light on how you store and maintain this? Hoping not as bad as my husband would like me to believe 🙂
We have had a similar slide for five years and love it. We usually drain it and then leave the blower on and let it dry in the sunshine. It probably doesn’t get all the way dry, but we have had no issues with mold. It gets a little dirty (mud), but it brushes off easily when we set it up the next time. We store it in a huge plastic crate in an outdoor shed. We have had a few tears; I just duct tape and sew them up — stronger than ever!
How do you sew inflatables without more leakage?!? This is breaking news!
I duct tape the tear and then sew through the the duct tape criss-crossing the tear. It’s not pretty, but it does the job!
It’s easy to let out the water but does need time to let it sit out in the sun to dry out before rolling it back up for storage. On a hot sunny day, shouldn’t be a problem. I got 3 kiddos too with my youngest being old enough to join this year. Just seeing them having a blast is well worth it! 🙂
We have one. It can be a pain, for that reason, especially if its about to rain. i spray mine with vinegar and water often. We do let it air dry and sit out in the sun to dry off as much as possible. That being said you have to stop playing on to have enough time to get it put up. its a lot of fun. my kids love it. this will be our 6th summer:)
Sweet! Thanks for sharing!
What is the cheapest these have gone down to?
I think they usually go down to 199 with the 30% off code.
they are 299 today at kohls. I just ordered one, should be here thursday. we have a fisher price blow up bounce house and its big, very easy to set up and take down. only takes like 5 min to take down, just fold and roll like a tent. can’t wait to get this one for the kids to play on!
We got this deal a few years back and my kids love it! Totally worth it. Easy to set up, loads of fun and great quality!
Glad to hear it! Thanks for the feedback!
If it say $1.82 to next $10 kolhs cash…should i still receive it?
No. Go add something cheap to your cart!
This is really smaller than you think.
We love this! Like others say we leave the blower on and let it sit in the sun to dry after use. Worked great. We used to put it in the box to store but now we use a cheap tote from Walmart. We also purchased a small water pump and use it to cycle the water from the pool part back to the sprayer at top. My daughter is 8, 60lbs, 4’8″ and still loves playing in it with some of her friends. It isn’t too big but fun on a warm day to splash around in
Thanks for such a helpful review Alese! Good to know!
Target had a cartwheel for 50% off last year, and I think I paid slightly less than this. We’ve only used it one season but my 6 year old enjoyed it, and I even went on it with no problems. 🙂
We weren’t good about taking putting it away after every use so there was some fading, but no other issues.
One dislike is you hook it up to your hose, but as soon as you shut off the blower all the water drains out. So, it’s not great if you’re trying to conserve water. I did use some to water my garden, but still wasted a lot.
Thanks for sharing your experience Angela!
I bought this last year and it was fairly smaller than the one at target. I ended up returning it and grabbing the target one when there was a cartwheel deal. The picture on this one is very deceiving.
So Target has a larger one? We had this one, and it was fun, but it was a pain to dry (we would leave it out on, and then it would rain, or some spots would accumulate water)… we did end up with mold stains etc.
We bought this last year and it was ok except the bottom of the slide kept going flat so the kids would slide down straight to the ground. Also it is smaller than you think. It was great for maybe 2-3 kids to play on at a time.
That happened to us as well (the bottom of the slide). There was grass under it, but it was still annoying (at first when we first bought it, it didn’t have that issue. I can’t remember if ours lasted one summer or two, but on the second (or the end of the first) it was already having issues keeping all the air (and thus the issue sliding).
We place some of those foam pads made for the garage under the end of the slide so that it doesn’t hurt the kids bottoms when they slide down 🙂
I bought this yesterday. . . I’m hoping for lots of hours of fun with it this summer. Thanks to all who commented with suggestions with this!! They very well might be helpful for me 🙂
