Target Deals 4/11-4/17

Numerous readers are having issues with being able to stack a Target coupon and manufacturer coupon together on one item. Well, the good news is that Target’s coupon policy clearly states that you can use both coupons together on one item. Their policy also states that if the value of the coupon is higher then the value of the item, then they can adjust the coupon down. Plus, their coupon policy in now available to view online here and price matching policy here. Print them off and keep them with you every time you shop at Target. You also may want to read more about the coupon issues people have been encountering and what can be done about it here.
**Also, Target is now giving a $0.05 credit for each reusable bag you use when checking out! I’m excited about this. It’s just another great way we’ll be able to save at Target. I would call ahead to make sure your local Target is participating.

The reason why Targe refuses to accept a lot of coupons on Travel Size items is that people will return the item and get cash for the full price of the Travel Size item without the subtraction from the manufacturer coupon. I had to get the actual store manager to tell me this as she asked my why I was purchasing all these Travel Size items of Tid.
Oh, in other words they are thieves.
People do that with full size items too. That manager is full of crap.
Yeah. I doubt that is the reason. Personally, the only time I’ve returned things is when I HAD TO. I discovered by accident that they let me keep the coupon money, which makes sense, because they will still get reimbursed on it. Seriously, too many people returning travel sized items? Nah. The manager was just giving you a lame excuse.
So what to do if they don’t accept the coupon for travel size?? Target would not accept the Tide coupons for the travel size. The cashier said that if the register “beeps” it means they can’t accept it.
They told me the same thing. I said “per your Coupon policy they adjust the coupon down to the value of the item.” I told them and they still didn’t do it, arguing with me that the tide travel size is not “Brand Size” what the heck does that mean? I called corporate and hopefully they will train their staff better.
Has anyone noticed that the one spot area is Target got new 2.50 towels in and for those of us who didnt get to use the coupon cause the last bunch sold out can have a grab at it..and they are a little bit nicer of towels..I use them for my little one when he gets out of the bath..
Also has anyone been seeing the Dial Nutiskin HAND soap arrive in their local stores..Im hoing my two Targets get it in before my coupons expire!?
No I used my Nutriskin coupons for bar soap they had on sale for $3.99 for multi-pack this week. Very nice glycerin soap. Sometimes I would rather just forgo the free/extremely cheap items in order to use on a item with more value to my household.
Can’t really beat paying $1.99 for a multi-pack of spa like soap.
I found the hand soap at my store today, it wasn’t there last week though.
i found the handsoap awhile ago and cannot find the towels. i would love to find these before the coupon expires. they had a TON of easter stuff in the dollar spot so an employee said what till after and i was there sat. and still none
I’ve been looking for those towels every time I go into Target and still havent seen then, but I hope I can find these new ones!!!
our target ran out of those towels before Easter but had them in this past Saturday again, so keep your eyes out! 😉
I have not seen the towels, but will keep an eye out. Thanks!
I have not seen the Nutriskin Hand soap at my Target either. But, when I asked an employee, they let me just get regular Dial Hand soap and both coupons went through just fine.
Just something quick – I was at our older plain (not Super) Target the other day and noticed that at the ‘start’ of the register – the end farthest from the cashier as you walk up – there was a tall thin plastic-y sign that had been put up – it was white I think – but it was printed with the Target logo and wording that said basically, Target wants to help you save money and that they will accept one MFR and one store coupon per item. Hopefully they’ll start putting these in at all of their registers; then I should think if anyone ever has trouble with stacking q’s you could just point behind you with raised eyebrows and not have to get a manager involved LOL
You can stack the Kelloggs granola with a target coupon on the site for $1.50 off three Kelloggs cereals (it has a picture of raisin bran crunch but says any kelloggs) to score your cereal for just 45 cents! I did!
Even though the 1.50 off 3 was also a manufacture coupon? So they let you stack manu. coupons?
How did that work? The $1.50/3 is a manufacturer’s coupon just like the $1/1 coupons.
I was able to use 2 of the $1.50 off 3 coupons from the Target website as well as 4 of the ($2/2), I bought 6 of the Granola Cereals, and got the $5 GC. I’m pretty sure the $1.50 off 3 Kelloggs was Target, I almost remember seeing the bullseye on it, but if not, opps.
Can you use the coupon for a free fusion razor when you buy the refill pack on the gift card deal for the razors? if so that would be a great deal.
Tori, I believe the Fusion deal is also for refills. If you buy 2 refills use 2 “buy refill get fusion razor free” MQ’s, that will work and you should get the $5 GC.
I see there’s a better printable coupon available but i wanted to offer some coupons that I have. I have about 10 coupons for $3 off Scrubbing Bubbles Automatic Shower Cleaner starter kit. I received them as part of my bzzagent kit. They are manufacturer’s coupons. Email me at splitraindrop@gmail.com if you’d like one! First come first serve! I will mail out tomorrow so hopefully you could use it this week.
Check your receipts before you leave!! I bought the fiber one items and it didn’t take off my free item. They fixed it and gave me the 2.50 back. My little ponys were on price cut for 4.99 and the reach floss was on price cut for .97!!
Oh got 4 My Little Pony’s in the Easters section for $6 and the Leapfrog books for $0.49!
I’m wondering if anyone can tell me.what items are available with the Special K cereal and snacks deal. It says selected items but doesn’t tell you what they are. The target I shop at doesn’t have the price scanner that tells you if it is one of the items that come with the gift card, it just tells the price of the item. Just wondering if there is anyway to tell before I go there.
What does it mean when it says get the coupon from the 2/28SS
How do I find it
2/28 SS means from the Febraury 28th Smart Source coupon insert in the Sunday paper. If you didn’t save it, you can ususally find them on Ebay or other coupon sites and purchase a bunch.
I’ve been bad about getting newspapers the last couple of weeks and it seems like the eBay prices are kind of high once you factor in shipping. Does anyone have a clipping service that they’d recommend?
I believe couponclippers.com is a good service.
I’ll check them out, thanks!!
Did you get a $5/1 Automatic Scrubbing Bubbles Starter kit in your 4/11 SS? Because all I got was the $5/1 Power Sprayer. Shoot! I was all planning to do this deal! I had a $5 Target GC already, so it would have been 2.97 with $5 GC – 2.03 MM. Oh well…I hope some of you did get that coupon! I also looked for the printable, but the link said it had expired.
Thanks for all you do Collin!
i dont file my coupons by date but the shower cleaner coupon was a couple of weeks ago not 4/11
There was supposed to be a $5 off Scrubbing Bubbles Power Sprayer Starter coupon in today’s paper…..
I bought 3 different papers available for my area only one had the Target Q for the scrubbing bubbles. It was the Detroit Free Press and the local paper and the Grand Rapids Press did not have this Q.
I have a $5/1 shower cleaner kit coupon if you want it. I could send it out tomorrow. E-mail me your address if you want it at megcoupons12 at yahoo dot com.
I went to Target on Friday and had 2 coupons for Dial Nutriskin hand soap. I had 2 Target coupons for the soap. They would only accept one Target coupon because they said that they could only accept one of the same Target coupon in the same transaction. Has anyone run into that before? This was after I went earlier in the week and I know I had 4 $1.00 off coupons on different things and when I looked at my receipt there was only 1 coupon they scanned. So I had to go to customer service to get the rest taken off after they opened the cash register and retrieved the other coupons. Usually I look while they’re scanning but I guess not for that transacation.
I have had the same thing happen…They told me they take only one Target coupon for that item….So if you have two coupons for two things and they are both Target coupons, they only let me use one…..
This is what I do….IF they do not let you use more than 1 target coupon (for the same item), then have the cashier take it off & ring it seperately so you still get it for cheap. =)
Just wondering if the $5 target card deal on the fusion razors will work on the gillette fusion mvp disposable razors (they are only $4.99 & would make a better deal). Does anyone know?
No, only the specified razors work for the GC.
Doesn’t hurt to try scanning it to see…the ad just says any Fusion so as long as it says fusion it may work.
i went to target yesterday and tried to get the baby shampoo and tide travel size free with coupons
however, the cashier told me i couldnt use coupons with travel size items
is this true? or can i actually use coupons with travel size items if the coupons dont state size limits?
If the coupon says any size, then you can use it. you just have to sometimes argue with them..but any size means any because normally it would say, excluding travel size.
My Target night manager tried to tell me that I couldn’t use my Tide and All coupons on trial sizes even though the coupon states “any size” but I pulled out my Target coupon policy (which he read over and over again) and finally let it through. The cashier even asked if she could keep my copy because she wasn’t sure about their policy.
YES you CAN as long as it doesn’t “exclude travel”. Sometimes you do have to argue & point it out. I try to pick a good cashier but that doesn’t always work.
I ran into that problem today with the Tide. The cashier was so positive that the coupon would specifically say “no trial/travel sizes”; the look of surprise on her face was very pleasing to see!
Re: the pepperidge farm coupons… the coupon that was available to me on coupons.com states that its only good for chunky or soft cookies and those were not on sale at my Target, only the chessmen/milanos/etc… :- BUMMER!
I canNOT find the vaseline coupons in my redplum insert. do they send certain coupons by region? I got on website and they are not there either. any suggestions? I’d really like to take advantage of those deals.
I can’t find the St. Ives coupon from the 3/21 SS
Please help!!!
The $6 price cut on Airwick ended yesterday. It did in my store at least.
yep. me too!
I also used the $3 off huggies manufacturers coupon(printed from an earlier post on Hip2save this week) with the $1.50 off huggies swimmers to buy a pack of swimmers which now come with 20 in a pack at Target, so original price was $9.99 and after coupons it was $5.49 for a pack of 20 swimmers diapers.
Thanks so much…I never thought to use this coupon on swim diapers!
I did the scrubbing bubbles power sprayer deal but only needed to buy 2 sprayers and two BOGO refills. they accept the four items and the coupon for the five gift card comes up just fine. I asked the cashier if BOGO could be the third item , and she said because the coupon for the items were man. coupons and the coupon for the gift card is from Target that it would read it seperately. The price in Utah for the sprayer is 7.99 so minus the two 5/1 coupons I recieved two sprayers and two refills for 6.00 OOP and got back a five dollar gift card so 1.00 for all four items
what bogo deal?
I have a different deal for those who have the right coupons for the Scrubbing Bubbles. In an older insert, I believe 3/21 there were 75c off sb cleaner and 1 off sb toilet gel. This week we got free toilet brush with purchase of toilet gel. If you buy:
1 toilet gel $3.99
1 toilet brush $6.29
1 cleaner (orange scent) $2.24
and use the $1 off toilet gel, free toilet brush and 75c off any cleaner coupons, you pay $4.48 plus tax and get back a $5 Gift Card. That is a 52c moneymaker!!!
The Target Scrubbing Bubbles coupon excludes toilet gel.
I just printed out the $1/1 Johnson & Johnson shampoo coupon listed, and it does say that it excludes travel sizes and any Buddies product.
The Crest Kids toothpaste Target coupon is gone, FYI.
I am having trouble printing out my coupons. It keeps saying my paper is the wrong size and canceling the print on me, thus me losing my coupons :(. Can anyone help me? Thanks!
It keeps saying the selected paper size is larger than the paper in the tray. Under properties it has my paper listed as 8×11…
Oh, I wish I lived in a city that had the $3.75 Vaseline lotion coupon – that’s awesome!
Ok…probably a stupid question, but some of these say use a target coupon plus one from the paper. You can use two coupons for one product? Does the cashier make it difficult?
At most stores you can stack a store coupon with a manufacturer coupon since the discounts are being given by different companies. If you get an uninformed cashier they may try to give you a hard time but as long as they’ve been trained on the corporate coupon policy it shouldn’t be a problem.
This is NOT the same as stacking manufacturer coupons, which you CANNOT do. You cannot use two $0.50/1 manufacturer coupons and a $1.00/2 manuf. coupon unless you purchase 4 items.
IMPORTANT SCRUBBING BUBBLES SHOWER CLEANER NOTE!
I tried to do this deal in South Orange County, CA yesterday. At my target, the Automatic Shower Cleaner ($12.99) will automatically ring up a $5 Target Gift Card. I also bought two other scrubbing bubbles cleaners ($2.49 and $2.09) in the same transaction and used three coupons. Here’s what I did:
$12.99 Automatic Shower Cleaner
$2.49 Scrubbing Bubbles spray cleaner in a can
$2.09 Scrubbing Bubbles spray cleaner
-.75 cent Q
-75 cent Q
*used my FREE $5 gift card Q wyb 3 scrubbing bubbles products*
So I should have received TWO $5 Gift Cards, but I only got 1.
If you got that great coupon, it is important to note that it EXCLUDES THE AUTOMATIC SHOWER CLEANER. SO COLLIN’S SCRUBBING BUBBLES SCENARIO DEAL #2 WON’T WORK.
Just wanted to warn you all. I spent so much time there yesterday trying to figure out how to work this and do it on two receipts so I could get 2 rebates. I also had another Q for $5 Gift Card wyb 5 SC Johnson items (got it from Real Simple magazine). If you have that, you can buy the Glade spray air fresheners for only .97 cents each as a great filler.
HTH!
My target will not allow me to use the $1.00 off coupons on the travel items that are $.97 because the coupon amount is more than the cost of the item. I have tried on a couple of different days and they always say the same thing. How do you guys get them to put them through? Even the mascara (not a travel item) would not go through due to the penny difference….frustrating but I’m sure someone has an easy answer to this.
Thanks!
Christina, this is where you need to print out a copy of the Target coupon policy and take it along with you. I don’t really like the wording on it, to me it’s confusing because it says they “may” adjust a coupon down to the amount of the product, which makes it sound to me like it’s a cashier’s choice. But what it seems to mean is that instead of telling you they can’t take a coupon for more than the item is marked, they should adjust the coupon down to match the item’s price, and you’ll get it for free. So take the policy with you next time, and if you need to get a manager or customer service involved, don’t be afraid to do that.
Thank you!!
Would scrubbing bubbles scenario # 2 work if you only bought 4 products? Could use I still do the rebate since technically i would only be paying for 2 items ?
Yes. If you buy a 4th scrubbing bubbles item that is NOT toilet bowl cleaner, then you’ll get your gift cards. I had to go to customer service and explain it to her. I also had forgot (!) to use my $5 GC Q wyb 5 SC Johnson items. Luckily, she was very with it and knew what I was talking about. It worked when I added in one more scrubbing bubbles item. I would think you would still get your rebate.
I’ve been told at my Target to take any and all things that might be “free” to customer service. The checkers don’t know what’s up and have a tendency to freak out.
That might be a good thing to try. The one time I had a real nasty go-round about using a coupon to get something free (and stupidly didn’t have a printout of the policy with me), even the manager insisted they would sell me nothing for free, it had to cost me at least a penny. I still don’t get it because the store gets the entire amount of the coupon back (plus 8-cents), so why do they care if I pay a penny or zero pennies for it, they still make their money. But so many cashiers and even managers don’t seem to understand that – they see it as somehow the customer is ripping off the store by getting something “free” that nobody’s going to pay them back for, which isn’t the case…
**This deal was not at my Target. I even went to Customer Service b/c there was no sign and she said they didn’t ring up with a $5 Target card!!
Buy 2 Select Tampax and/or Always Products $6.99 each = $5 Target gift card

I did the Fiber One deal, buying 2 boxes of Fiber bars and 1 box of Fiber One pastries, and I got the 90-calorie box of Fiber One bars, but it didn’t ring up free like it was supposed to. 🙁 I was very busy wrangling my 2 little ones, so I didn’t notice on the receipt until I got home. Bummer.
Same here 🙁 And I didn’t catch it, either… hate when that happens.
I just got back from Target and the cashier wouldn’t let me use the Gillette Fusion $4.00 off coupons on my purchase. She stated that since a gift card offer was attached to this item it’s already met the one promotion per item quota. I don’t see this listed on their coupon policy page. Any advice/suggestions? Thanks!
April, I sure hope this is not the case..as I am going to target tomorrow w/ 8 coupons. 4 for razors and 4 for refills. Our add stated that they were 6.99…but still a good deal I think. – coupon it is 2.99…so 5.98 for two. If I get a 5$ RR deal…it is onlly .98 for 2 razors. My question is that if I get 4 sets of 2 razors-will I get 20$ back-or do I have to do seperate transactions on each two? I hope you don’t mind me adding this to your post-b/c I figured whoever answered yours may be able to answer mine….
Since Target as the buy 2 get a $5 gift card on the Tampax/Always, if I use a B1G1 Free coupon on them, will it generate the gift card since I’m technically only buying 1?
Keep your eye out for the Tide Stain Release at your Target. The Target in Rochester Hills, MI had it on clearance for $3.48 so after my $3 coupon I got it for just .48!!!! It was a GREAT deal!!!
Thanks for the GREAT tip Jennifer!!!! : )
I tried this today: one power sprayer, extend a clean, one refill (but for daily shower, they were out of the other), one Fantasik S. Bubbles. The GC didn’t ring up because they said the Fantasik was not part of the promotion. I said, forget it, I’ll go back and pick out three different items. But they didn’t take off my coupons, so I had an extra $5.00 and $3.94 taken off my bill! So they they really lost on this deal. My bill was negative, so the cashier didn’t take my Vitamin water coupon! I really don’t this was the Fantasik that was the problem, but the refill–they just sometimes take a wild guess. I’m not a fan of Scrubbling Bubbles anyway, so I’m letting it go.
I’m about done with Target. They were so rude and mean today when I tried to use coupons. There are 2 Targets in town, one of them is ALWAYS this way and the other is so nice and friendly, only had a small problem once but worked it out right away. The mean one is like right down the road and the other is on the opposite side of town but I still drive there just for the better people. Don’t be mean Target people, please. 🙁
