Target: FREE Faux Suede Ottoman?!
Alright, so before posting this deal, I want to remind you all that clearance prices and products do vary from store to store. You may not be able to find this clearance deal below, but it never hurts to keep your eyes peeled… especially when you may be able to snag something for FREE!
Reader, Lisa and reader, Kari both emailed me about finding the Purple faux suede ottoman (pictured above) on clearance for just $4.98! What a great price, right?! All of them were full price at my Target in Baton Rouge, LA–no purple ones left, but there were black, brown, lime and pink ones. I’ll check back next week just in case they’ll be marked down then!
Wichita, KS has them marked down to $13 or $14. Still a good selection left (pink, purple, and green). I went ahead and got one b/c they had a pink, green and white striped one with a “skirt” on the bottom part. Marked down from $30. Not bad for $10 after the coupon, and it matches my daughter’s room!

I’m going to check my Target again but I actually noticed these the other day — think they were 13-something …and thought they were a good deal before I knew about the coupon!
Biloxi, MS Target has them for $19.99 🙁 Our Target never gets the good clearancey stuff.
Michigan here & the Westland ford rd target had only one pink one on clearence for 13 something, didn’t buy it though, they also has some other fabric design ones for the same price. Tried another target & they had none on clearence they where original price still at $19.99. I was hoping for a free ottoman but a no go. Goodluck to all who get one for free! 🙂

Michigan here again & I havent tried the target (canton south) on michigan ave yet. I only checked the target on ford rd in westland & i checked the target across the street from westland mall. Checking the target on michigan ave tomorrow. Hope they have them lower then $13. Anyone else find these for cheaper in Michigan???

I found the pink one at the Target in Chesterfield, MI (21 Mile and Gratiot). It was priced $9.98. I didn’t get it because I have two boys and it wouldn’t be worth it to me unless it was free. They only had one and I went today (4/16) in the morning.
I had to join in this too! I am on the boarder of Westland and Livonia– so I shop at the Westland store often. Also there is a Target at Middlebelt and Plymouth Rd. That is in the old Wondermall Location. Good to see some locals.

Hartland location wasn’t clearanced out in the furniture section as of this morning when I worked, but tons of clearance in the health and beauty sections. If the other Targets are starting to get them on clearance, that means they all will be soon. I’d keep a good watch on them, once they hit $10 they are going to be swooped up fast! lol
I went looking for these, didn’t find it…but I did find a SUPER cute pink, green and white striped one with storage and skirted edge that goes perfect in my daughter’s room. It was on clearance for 14.98 so I got it for 10.98 and it really is adorable, bonus that it stores toys!
That would match my daughter’s room too. What section of the store was that one in? Was it with the other kids household items (Circo bins, pink lamps, crown wearing piggie banks, etc.?) They’re remodeling my local store so I need all the help I can get tracking things down!
In my stores they’re in the furniture department, by the lamps and everything. The striped one would match my daughter’s room perfectly too! I’m excited to see if my store has them on clearance!
In CT, they are $19.99, no clearance yet! Bummer! These would make great graduation gifts for college, so I’ll keep an eye out for them. However I could only print one coupon.

These are on clearance at the St. Cloud Crossroads location for $13.98. I was hoping to find some for $4.98, but I guess I’ll have to wait and see if they get marked down more.

Plus if you have kiddos, keep a look out on the kids shoes, I found lots of toddler shoes on clearence from $2.00 to $7.00!!

When you click on the link above and the Target site comes up, it automatically goes to the grocery coupons. You have to click on “Home” or maybe it’s “Housewares”, then you’ll see it at the bottom (beside a coupon for a bookshelf). Hope it helps.
My target only had the pink one’s on clearance for $9.98, so I got 2. I will be giving one to my girlfriends daughter filled with all kinds of goodies for college in August.

We have something like this in our living room – it’s great for keeping toys handy but out of sight. I ran to my target in IL and only the bright pink was marked down to $13.98. I’ve only got boys, so it just wasn’t going to work for me. 🙂

I got the last one at one of the stores in Richmond, VA. It’s the only thing I went to get since I was driving by the store anyways. What’s awesome is that it didn’t beep and NO TAX. My total was $0.00! I walked out the store without paying even a cent. Now that’s what I call FREE.

In Aurora, CO They are still 19.99, I’m hoping they go on clearance soon. They do have some gray colored ottomans on clearance for 14.98, I personally didn’t like the color. I’ll be patient and wait for a pink, purple or blue one for free!
I got a purple one in Goodyear, Az for $9. They only had one purple on clearance for 13.98. The pink and brown were 19.99, yes I did price check. The had some striped ones on clearance too. Sounds like whoever found them for 4.98 scored!! Wonder why the prices are so different!!? Bummer…
Went to the Goodyear Target. Did you go to the Cotton Lane or Litchfield address. I was at cotton lane and did not find any on clearance?

I went to get the Ottoman,no such luck! BUT I did get a KING SIZE comforter set for under $20!!! It has 2 shams,comforter, and a bed skirt! They had lots of different styles too! I’m in Dayton Ohio. So, if you miss out on the free ottoman you may just snag another deal!
So, I don’t know if this was talked about yet here, but my Target won’t take coupons that exceed the amount of the item. The manager quoted the coupon policy word for word and made it sound like they only take coupons that exceed the amount if there were other discounts that made it that low amount. Sooooo sad…had to put pretty much everything back…anyone know if he is wrong???
Call The Corporate office 1st thing tomorrow and let them know what happened. This happened to me once and they were VERY helpful and straightened it all out. I have the Corp # programed into my cell phone so that I can make a call from the store. Don’t waist time with the few (or many) stingy employees or store managers, just let them know that you’d kindly call The Corp office to straighten it out, usually they (the stingy employee) will save you the trouble and just let you get the deals, but if you have to make the call, again, Corp has been very helpful with my past experiences. I don’t have my phone available… can someone give her the corporate #??? Best of luck getting your deals!

If you make it clear that you’re not trying to pull anything and don’t want an overage, they’ll just K1 the coupon.

Arrowhead Mall Store. There was only one on the shelf.
It was about the same color as Hips blog to the right.
It was still shelved with the regular items and the tag is still there so maybe you could get the sku for the turquoise or blue –whatever they are calling it and find out if it is available at other stores. Also, I was only able to print one coupon. Was this the case for you as well?

I was able to snag the same ottoman (fuschia colored) for free after the coupon. Target in Jones Valley- Huntsville, AL
They were all different prices (Millbury,MA)! The brown was was 19.99..a blue one was 13.98..and a pink one 9.99. so naturally i got the pink one for 5 dollars with the coupon. also grabbed my free benadryll
Not on sale over here at Schillinger and Airport in Mobile, AL… they were all regular price at $19.99.
For the Central Florida readers:
No luck at the Target near I-4 and Hwy 27. They had a clearance sign in front of any empty part of the shelf and no purple ottomans left so I’m guessing that they’re already sold out. The other colors weren’t stickered and I double checked the pink, lime and brown ones on the scanner and they rang up at $19.99.
There was one of the pink, green and white striped ones on an end cap with other clearance merchandise. It was dirty on top and still priced at about $20 (I didn’t bother scanning it). There was a red, white and blue striped one at the same price ($20.98 I think, down from $29.99) over by kids bedroom decor.
There was a non-storage ottoman in a blue-gray fabric (reminded me of an older style man’s suit) on clearance with the other ottomans for about $15 but there was just one left.
My Target in Lawrenceville, Ga only had two marked down ottomans. One was all leather and it was on clearance for $49(!) (don’t ask me how much it was originally!) and the other was a navy, blue, red and white striped on sale for $14.98. I went ahead and got it for $9.98 with the coupon because it goes with my son’s room and holds toys (big plus!).
Target (Brier Creek) in Raleigh, NC has them marked down to $13.98. Then with the $5 coupon….still a good deal.
I am in NW San Antonio and went to 3 different Targets today (all within about 12 miles of each other). Target #1 had 2 purple ones for $4.98, 1 blue for around $13.98 and the rest all regular price (including the adorable pink/green/white stripe) – these were all at their regular location in the furniture aisle. Target #2 had 2 purple ones priced at $13.98 and the rest regular price – the purple ones were apart from the others on an end cap. Target #3 had 1 purple for $9.98 and the rest regular price – these were all at their regular location in the furniture aisle. I did price check everything and asked a manger why the ottomans varied in price at each store. He said that the stores individually place their items on clearance. He said to just keep checking back each week and see if they eventually get reduced to the $4.98, pending of course that they aren’t purchased before then. I ended up with a free one from Target #1. I went to all the Targets out of curiosity and because they were close by. 🙂
All were $19.99 in IL except the green one was $13.98. There were about 10 so I think I will wait until next week to check again. But the Baby Alive was finally on clearance for $4.98 so I got that one free finally!
I called Target (the 2 closest to me) and they both said they didn’t have any on clearance. But I knew I had seen one last week marked down to 14 something. So I went in and checked. They had 4 all marked to $9.98. With the coupon I got one for under $5!!!
I checked the Lake Stevens Target in Washington and they had the purple one’s for $14.98 and I was going to wait until today to go check the price again and ask customer service when they do their next clearance mark down, usually the employees are nice and will let you know and you can be the firsts to go through the new clearance stuff. I am hoping I can get that Ottoman for my friend’s daughters, we are redoing their room to make it more “mature” for the 8 year old and stilll be cute for the 6 year old! Another Michigander here!!! The Target in Waterford had 2 purple ones left for 13.98. I would have liked to get it free but I guess we can’t always be that lucky. But I did pick one up for 8.98. I guess its better than nothing!!!

In the Cincinnati area- Tri-County and Voice of America Target are still at $19.99, all colors. I price checked them to be sure.
Pasadena, TX had them for $9.98 so getting it for $4.98 was still a great price~
I got the gorgeous Pink/Green/White Striped one on clearance for $14.98. There were a few minor scrapes on the interior corners so the checker (a guy) took an additional 10% off. Minus my $5 Q, I scored it for $8.48! Wahoo!
