Can someone please explain to me what this is? I looked it up and said something about having to be connected to the internet.. Is that true? Thank you for your help! I think my son would really like this 🙂
You do not have to be connected to the Internet, but you do have to download the audio from the Internet onto your computer and the pen. It’s a fantastic toy. My son has two because he has so many books (gotten free or cheap!). Basically, it’s a book and the pen is the audio. Children can use the pen to “read” the book. Touch one symbol, and it reads the page, touch a word, it reads the word, touch a picture, and you hear a sound effect. There are various age-appropriate learning games, too.
Is there a difference between the Tag, and the Tag Junior? Will they work on the same books?
you can upload the audio from tag juniors to tag, but not vice versa and it’s not recommended.

10 books? So, would you have to delete older ones if you have more than 10? Just wondering, since we have 3 books, and no Tag/TagJr yet.
You can add up to 10 books. But if you get an 11th book, you’d have to remove one of your previous books to add the new one in. HTH! 🙂
our model only holds 6…so 10 is awesome. you just log onto your net account and adjust which ones you want on the pen at that time
I wish this was good on the Tag Jr. systems…I’m looking to get one of these for DD.

My daughter is 2, and I bought her the “grown-up” version. It’s still easy enough for her to hold, and you CAN load the Tag Jr books on it while you CANNOT load the older books on the Tag Jr. She likes some of the books at the higher reading level because there’s more story to listen to, and more sound effects, more pictures to explore, etc. than in the Tag Jr books.

How are you able to load the Tag Jr books to the Tag?
help! ive tried twice to print it out in b/w but it only prints a vague pic of the books and a barcode no words. i doubt they will take this… how can i fix it?
You may have to go into your printer settings and mess with it, I had that happen with a Office Depot coupon some fields wouldn’t print but I chose to print all and annotations and that worked. Every printer is different with their settings.

I am so excited. My daughter turns 4 in November and I have been wanting to get her one. I went straight from work and picked mine up. They had tons of them in stock. Not only that but they had baby clothes in the back of the store for 30% to 70% off. I grabbed several outfits all under $5. Got to the register only to find out that several of them were buy one get one!!!! Good day at TRU!!!
I bought the books last week at Target on sale and then bought one online at Walmart for $35. I just returned it and picked one up at TRU. I actually used the $5 gift card from Family Game night promo they had a few months ago as well.
Does anyone know how I can upload Tag Jr books to the Tag?

I went to west valley UT TRS but it didn’t take coupon because the coupon says “can not combine with any other offer” and 50% off is the “offer”
I Am wondering if anyone was able to use the coupon to get this. My son was so excited but because they didn’t take the coupon, I didn’t get one 🙁
Had a problem with this coupon. It would not scan and then when they tried entering the numbers on the coupon, it still would not take. So they told me that they couldn’t accept it. 🙁 Anyone else have a problem? Should I go back and try again?

thanks so much for the info! did not pull the trigger a couple of weeks ago one the 50% off sale, now i am glad. I am in MO, I printed the coupon and had no problems using it got the tag for $21.XX after tax. thanks is going to be a great b-day gift for my daughters 4th.
I felt West Valley UT TRS was not being honest with me but I didn’t want to fight in the front of my 2 kids in my arms. I might go try different TRS to see if they would take it. GUUURRRR
I got one tonight, seemed to have plenty left and I did not see it advertised IN the store. I had no problem with the $5 off Q. Now i’m just looking for killer bargains on the books!!
My Target still had them on cut back for $7.99 on most of the titles.
