(Thanks so much for the heads up on this sale, Julia!)
I appreciate the Food Lion post, but just a heads up! Items ring up half price at Food Lion, so, like with the Cream cheese, you don’t have to buy 6 to get the price, if your Cream Cheese is BOGO @ $2, then they will each ring up $1. So buy 5, use the $5/5, get the free!
Same with the other items, you don’t have to buy 2 to get the bogo price. 🙂
(At least in my region it works this way!)
Oh awesome… I didn’t know that!! I will update the post!! Thanks! 🙂
You’re welcome Collin!
I find it impossible to keep up with the stores I DO shop at, I don’t know how you can possibly keep straight all the ones you don’t even have in your area! 😉
Actually, don’t laugh… but I do have a Food Lion nearby! 😉 I honestly don’t shop there that often. The sales usually aren’t worth it to me, however, I will definitely be stopping in this week.
hehehehe- well, Admittedly, Food Lion is the closest store to me and I still prefer to drive 45 minutes each way once a week to shop at Publix. 😉 BUT I do stop in there periodically for the really REALLY super deals and my store knows me (The coupon lady) lol. Thanks again for all the great posts Collin. 😀
oh, and when you buy three Aquapods, you will get a $3 oyno cat.
Not all Food Lion’s ring up half price. Here in Jacksonville there are a few that are a true BOGO. Of course it has been about a month since I’ve been there so Food Lion might have changed it for all their stores.
just an fyi it says limit 2 free (for each bogo), so you cant buy 5 and get the 6th free…just an fyi. 😉
Anybody know their coupon policy? Is it going to be a headache to use internet coupons or $5/5 coupon? I’ve had issues elsewhere.
I would say, like anywhere else, it depends on the store. I don’t have trouble at my Food Lion, but I know others have in their area.
my food lion WILL NOT take internet printed coupons. I tried to use one that a company sent me but it looked like a printed coupon and the cashier was like “we can’t accept this, this is FRAUD” I was like ummm no the company sent it to me so she checked with a manager and they still refused to take it.
Some people have had trouble with the coupon beeping or not scanning, others (like me) haven’t had a problem. However, I’d say you have to know your store. The two closest Food Lions to my home accept IPs. I happened to stop at another nearby, and the cashier took my IPs–but didn’t actually apply them to my order. I went back in and when the manager retrieved the coupons, he said, “we don’t really take these.” But she did–she just didn’t scan them. I just had him take the items off my bill. Annoying. Another time, at one of my “home” Food Lions, the cashier said she could only use one like coupon. Wasn’t sure of the policy, so I checked with corporate, and sure enough, she was wrong. Worst of all, I had asked her take off the three items for which she had refused the coupons, and she only took *one* off. Later, when I attempted to return the other two at a different, I was told I had to take them back to the same store where I purchased them. Huh?!? Found out that was wrong, too. I also had cashiers “forget” to give me my Cats. I’ve found that the cashiers aren’t tremendously coupon savvy at Food Lion, nor are the customer service folks very helpful. They don’t seem to know the company’s policies. But you won’t know for sure til you try it. Good luck.
I just went to my local Food Lion in HAW RIVER, NC and they told me that my $5/5 Kraft Coupon was COUNTERFIT!!!! I was so upset because I know that they are legit..!!! so frustrating!
It is a limit of 2 free so I don’t think you can get 5 at the sale price. I went today and the cashier did look at the coupon funny and called over the manager. I told her that they have all the signs up for the $5 coupon. She then took it:)
Is this limited by your card or can you do multiple transactions? I’m not a Food lion shopper so i don’t know.
My ad does not have limits stated for the bogo items. (I am looking at it right now)
Sorry, I take that back, it DOES have two free, but they do ring up at half price. Even so, if the limit is 2 free, then if you buy five, technically, you’d be getting two of the three free 😉
Anyway, it will work b/c the card does not limit the items, it is up to the cashier, and they normally don’t care (unless you buy 50 or something).
Just an FYI at the Food Lion here, it is not a limit per card, but PER transaction. Once you meet the limit the extra items will ring up but they will ring up at regular price, not free…that way the cashier’s can’t let things slide. So I think maybe not all of the Food Lions are doing things the same way.
The taco bell dinner kits are 2.99 BOGO. Use the $1 coupon from All you and get a dinner kit for .49.
I have gone out twice today and one Food Lion had the free bananas coupon on the box of Nilla Wafers. BEWARE that the register will beep, luckily the kraft rep was there and told them that I was using the right coupon ($1/2 SS). The register will say too many coupons are being used on one item. PLUS if you spend $45 or more you get a free turkey dinner.
Cant find the Ronzoni Pasta q- maybe its my zip- any suggestions?
IF it is not gone it was at 90210. There were $1/2 any Ronzoni blinkies at my store. Also the Smart Taste was $5/5 and I still had $1/1 coupon hanging around in my files so that was free.
our food lion had a tear off pad with coupons right above it! 🙂
Glade Candles – Use the BOGO Free coupons in the 9/26 SS insert. If you buy 8.00 in Glade products, you automatically get 3.00 off your bill. If you buy 2 of the 4oz. jar candles you will also get a catalina for 2.00 OYNO. So – Buy 4 candles (3.49 ea.), use 2 BOGO coupons = 6.98 – 3.00 automatically = 3.98 and get (2) 2.00 off your next order catalina. I did this two times today, so the catalinas roll. This deal was printed in my ad, I do not know if its regional.
My store had $1/2 coupons in front of the Ronzoni pasta.( Also zip code 90210 at coupons.com) Chips ahoy are bogo this week so make sure you print your coupons from facebook on Monday. So you can get 2 packages of chips ahoy free when you buy a gallon of milk:) As far as limits my store only lets you get 2 free. The register will only take off 2, any extras you buy are full price. But they let me do a few transactions at one time:)
FYI: None of the three food lions would let me use the nabisco coupon calling it a “free” coupon.
About the Nabisco coupon. Last month they did not want to take it because it was a smartsource coupon and yes you get one free. I told the manager how it was a facebook coupon that you can print once a month, She said she would check on it. She took down my number and did call a few days later saying that I could use it. During the time it took her to call back I also called foodlion and they did say they do not take free internet coupons. But that did not seem right since it is a buy one get one free. I emailed and they said yes they take buy one get one free coupons. Hope this helps. Good luck!
If any of you have Lowes foods you can get a great deal on Green Giant frozen veggies. They are on sale for 4/$5 plus if you buy 8 you get a $2 fresh reward, plus a $3 catalina when you buy 8. There are coupons online for 60 cent off 3 and they double. or a while back Colin posted a link for 50 cent off one. I went today and I got
I went today and I got 8 for 91 cents if you take out the fresh reward and catalina:)
A few more Food Lion deals… supposedly Splenda is on sale
1. $2/1 Splenda with Fiber coupon 9/26 RP or you can print it (look below).

2. Nabisco Cheese Nips 2/$3
$1/2 coupon from 9/26 SS =$1 each wyb 2
( I bought the SpongeBob variety – my daughter was thrilled)
I did the cheese deal. 2 shredded ($1.39 x 2), 1 block ($1.39) and 2 sliced (2/$2.38)
OOPS! I hit submit and wasn’t finished!!
I did the cheese deal. 2 shredded ($1.39 x 2), 1 block ($1.39) and 2 sliced (2/$2.38) – $5/5 =
hit submit again… ((it’s gonna be a looong day)) I paid $1.55 for all 5! Yes, there is a limit of 2. The shredded and block are together in the ad but the single slices are separate in the ad. The coupon did not beep!
Also, they have SOBE for .99¢ each. I used a B1G1 on 2 and the register took off $1.59 (original or price) $1.98 – $1.59 = .39/2 (not free but cheap since those coupons expire today!)
Here is a copy of Food Lion’s coupon policy that they posted on their FaceBook page about 2 -3 weeks ago in answer to a question.

I did GREAT except a 55c and a $5 coupon were not taken off. I’m on my way back now.
I went to FL this morning and got 2 Axe shower gels on sale 2/$7, then used a BOGO free coupon that I had (exp. 10/23). They also had a bin of A1 set up in the middle of the store BOGO free, with a $0.55 off one coupon on the sale sign.
Bloom also has the same deal. At my store the items rang 1/2 price. I mixed and matched and was able to get the 1/2 price deal on all 5 items.
Aquapods Q doesnt print anymore, says campaign expired just a FYI
My Food Lion did not have a limit on the Kraft cheese BOGO offer (I went back and checked my receipt). I bought 10 packages and used two $5/5. My total was $3.95 before tax AND I got a catalina for $5/5 select Kraft items valid 10/13-10/26 (valid only at Food Lion)!! 🙂
There is a GREAT deal on the Weight Watchers Meals at FL. Buy 6, get $5 off. I got 6 meals that were $1.99, Used the printable $3/6 Q and got an instant $5 off. Comes out to $4 for 6 Meals. Makes them 66 cents each!! Did two transactions and got 12 meals.
i went to the aquapod link and after putting all my information in there I got a mesage that the offer was over! So, they got my info and I got nothing! 🙁
I went today i’m so tried of hearing the same stuff over and over about internet printable coupons. I mean i felt i gave every employee a hard time when i gave the cashier my coupon. He tried to scanned the coupon so many times didn’t went through. he override the coupon and then another employee said NO and CSM assumed it was not real. They had to cancel my transaction and refuse me to use this coupon. But on the bright side i did went to another FL in Charlotte and it went through without any problems.
I got the Kraft Cheese deal at Food Lion today!!!! 2 packs of Kraft singles, 2 packs of shredded cheese, and 2 packs of cubed cheest….for Under $4!!!!! I’m amazed and I passed the info. and coupon along to all my friends!!!! Thanks!
Kool-Aid is B1G1F this week and there’s a coupon in the 9-26SS for buy 10 get 4 free! So, if I buy 10, I’ll get 9 free. Right? (Half of the 10 free with the sale and then another 4 free with the coupon…5+4=9) Sounds like a great deal to me!
has anyone tried to use the $2.50 off kingsford *with purchase of meat* with the BOGO on kingsford this week?
Some help with a question please.I am looking at trying to do a few of the deals that produce the catalina coupons after the sale-
– Do Cats roll from deal to deal?
AND
if I do the
Old El Paso
Buy 3 Save $1 off your next Beef or Chicken Purchase
Buy 6 Save $3 off your next Beef or Chicken Purchase
In the same transaction with this deal:
Hamburger Helper
Buy 3 Save $1.50 off your next Hamburger, Chicken or Tuna Purchase
Buy 4 Save $2 off your next Hamburger, Chicken or Tuna Purchase
Buy 5 Save $3 off your next Hamburger, Chicken or Tuna Purchase
Will I get the 2 x $3 if I meet the requirements of each deal? Or is this considered the same deal and I would only get 1 cat if all in one transaction?
Thanks for any insight on this. 🙂
There are also coupons for Coca Cola Products Save $1 off two. These coupons can be found at Compare Foods in Charlotte or any NC Compare Food location. It is a coupon booklet with $7 savings like soda, cookies, and snacks part of kraft/ nabsico products
Found the answer to my question by going to the store and trying it out.
Yes, the cats will roll and you can do both of the meat catalina deals in the same order and still get both cats.
My Food lion is awesome! The people are super coupon friendly and even help take things to your car. Everyone in the store is helpful in checking on stock too. Great experience!
Thanks to those who posted some deals. 🙂
