CVS: $5 in FREE Halloween Items?!
Did you shop at CVS today? If so, I’d love to hear what coupons you received from the magic coupon machine. I’ve heard from a couple readers now about an awesome Halloween coupon they received. The coupon is valid for $5 off ALL Halloween costumes and accessories– which means FREE Halloween items! Reader, Christy, was able to snag the Pumpkin Decorating set (pictured above) for FREE! It was priced at $4.99, so FREE after the $5 coupon!

Yep I got this one too. I found little battery powered jack-o-lanterns with red blinkie lights that were on sale 2 for $5.00. So I got both for FREE! My kids have already snagged them and put them in the bedroom windows and keep trying to convince me that its dark outside so they can turn them on..lol.
Yep scored the black colored hair spray I needed for my daughters Halloween costume for FREE since it was $4.99!

it was for today only. I don’t know if it truly is a one day thing for today, or tomorrow it will say one day only too. Just a heads up it might only be a one day thing.
I was just there this evening and the coupon it gave me said it will expire on October 4th. So, at least in my case, it can be used tomorrow as well.

I got the coupon too! They had 8 pack orange Halloween plates 2/$5 so I scored them for FREE!!
Yep – got one, too! My CVS allowed me to purchase a ceramic pumpkin dish that was technically in the Thanksgiving section, but the manager said she thought anything “Fall-ish” would be fine! The plate was $4.99, so….free!
Yep we got this coupon too and scored a plastic light up pumpkin for only 99cents. This is the first year we are decorating for Halloween since my kiddos are finally old enough and this pumpkin will work just fine until Target puts all their Halloween stuff on the 90% off sale so I can get the good stuff for next year… 🙂

I got the same coupons as BLT ^^. I was so happy to score the $5 coupon for Halloween decor! I got a pumpkin carving set because I needed one anyway and it was $4.99 ($4 at Wal-mart, so that saved me some money!). There were a lot of great possibilities though so it took a little while for me to decide!

I got this, and i got a pair of striped stockings (purple and black) that i really needed for my costume and a pumpkin cup, to make the total 5 dollars.
i was supposed to pay 26 cent tax, but the cashier said i didn’t have to!
I LOVE this. I’ll take my mom’s cvs card for a spin, and see what i can get w/ taht. xD I also got a 2 dollar off any secret clinical, 2 off 2 lysol wipes, 1 off 2 aussie/ herbal essences product (bought some trial sizes!) and a ton of other ones! i’m gonna try tomorrow for the 7 off 15 revlon.
I hope i can get another one on my moms card, or my sisters card, the day before halloween. When i went last year, the day before had 75 percent off all halloween items! I would be able to get so much! One thing w/ the coupon is, it’s not good for the halloween candy. D:

Got the $5Q and bought caution tape for our school’s halloween party. Tape was $0.99 each so the overage was put toward the rest of my order!!
This is a great coupon! I got 2 trick-or-treating bags ($0.99 each) and a bowl to put the candy in ($2.99) so total was $4.97, the coupon still worked, so total does not have to be over $5 to work!
I got a few door mats from the fall section it even allowed the overage Cha… Ching 🙂
Yep, I got the $5 coupon too. I got a cute black cat decoration that was on sale for $7,99 (normailly $9.99) so after the coupon I only paid $2.99 and it’s adorable!
I got a sign that said “spooky”. I didn’t read about it here, I just went to the store and was surprised. I was coming over here to tell everyone about it! haha…it was VERY exciting!
Got one two….scored the glow in the dark “spider webs”, 2 for $5.00, so free, loved it!
I got one too! What a great coupon! We Ghost each other in my subdivision and I was able to get 5 free pumpkin sippers to put in Ghosting Baskets!! Plus, the Snickers were 2/$1 at my store and I had 2 bogo coupons!
I LOVE this idea, but we don’t have any neighbors. How could we do this at work?
I got this too (along with my qtrly ECBs reward…I spend almost nothing OOP and it was only $1 ECB but still good) – my Halloween item total only came to $4.50, but the overage of .50 was put toward the rest of my order – NICE!! I got a jack-o-lantern drink cup for my little one along with a big box of halloween animal tatoos to hand out along with my candy!!! What a great deal!!

Also used the $4 Shick Hyrdo Q, Revlon $1 Q, 2 $1 tasters choice Qs, along with a $4/$20 Q – I ended up paying nothing out of pocket because I used $8 ECBS…and got $8 in ECB’s back!! I also scored a bday card for my nephew and some veggie chips with the overage.
I got this but was in a hurry, it says One Day Only but Expires on the 4th. I am hoping I can go back tomorrow after I drop the kids off at school to score an awesome deal.
I’m kinda frustrated and I would love to know if this has happened to any of you girls. It’s been about 3 weeks since I got my CVS card and till today every time I got to the coupon machine it always says that there is no coupons available at this time…… I thought it was just the store close by my house, but I drive today to 3 different stores and they all say the same..
Any suggestions???
Have you purchased anything yet? Maybe you need to make a purchase using the card before the coupons will become available… Not really sure about this, just a suggestion! Hope you start getting the awesome coupons really soon though 🙂
Call the CVS Extra Care number — mine didn’t print coupons two weeks after I got it and they had to send me a new one.
I got three jack o latern candle votives for free and the overage went to my soup I picked up. Spent 55 cent and used no ECBs. I wished I knew that it could go for fall stuff but wasn’t sure. I may gift the votives. They are cute!
Are these coupons regional? I’ve only been shopping CVS a short while, but I’ve spent quite a bit there and only got a $2 Q for something I’d never even heard of. Is this typical for a short-timer? Just wondering if I’m doing something wrong.
I got a free blonde wig for my Halloween costume! I’m excited about that because I needed one but didn’t want to pay much for it.
I scored too at CVS!!!!!!!! did the P&G deal which only cost me $11 and then earned my $10 ecb! 🙂 and used my $5 halloween coupon and scored 5 candles (pumpkin patch and apple) all free!!!!!!!!! they were 99cents a peice so i figured go for 5! i love candles and even better when they are free!!!!!!!
I got a make up kit for my children and my sister got an eyelash kit for my older child so we got $10 worth of Halloween makeup FREE (with the help of my sister)! Plus I got 7 3 pack of Nabisco cookies for 99 cents and used 3 $1/2 coupons = $4.
It seems as though every single card is getting this once.

I wish I could go to CVS today!!! Hubby had to go in to work for a little while and took the car. Maybe it will still print tomorrow evening, but probably not if it says one day only! Oh well, I will catch the next good deal!! How many of you ladies are doing the P&G deal? I am trying to decide if it equals cheap tp or not… I am always looking for good tp deals since they are so hard to come by. Any ladies have some good deal scenarios?? Thanks!
I received these coupons today too-I was able to get 2 pair of fuzzy Halloween socks- 1 pair is orange and purple stripes and the other one’s green and purple stripes they were 2/5.00 and the cashier thought something was wrong because I had to pay NOTHING out of pocket not tax or anything!!! Yay!!!-I love CVS I also received a coupon for $5 off $25 expires 10/17 , $2 off Secret or Old Spice Clinical deoderant, $2 off 2 Lysol wipes and $1 off any 2 Aussie or Herbal Essences hair care items which all expire on 10/4- As soon as I walked thru the door and scanned my card for my coupons the cashier started telling me about the AWESOME Halloween deal-she said she had gotten a door mat costume totally free!!!

A glitch in my local So. Cal CVS’s register had the exact SAME coupons printing at the end of the receipt as those coming out of the Magic Coupon Machine today. So, my mom and I were able to snag this deal 4 times between the two of us. We got: a plastic pumpkin, soft soap halloween hand soap pump (also used mfr coupon for this), plastic halloween rings, rulers, pencils and bouncy eyeballs all for FREE!!!!!! We love giving away the non-candy items because we have no willpower when it comes to chocolate and doing this helps us to STAY AWAY from the candy stash before the 31st actually arrives! LOL!

I got this today- had to read it twice to confirm it was for 5.00 of free stuff! I got orange lights for decorating outside, and a small novelty toy. Called my husband to make sure he scanned his card while running errands today- I love to decorate for Halloween.
I received $2 off Secret Clinical, $5 off Halloween item, $1/2 Herbal Essense or Aussie and I think $2/2 Lysol wipes.
I used the $1/2 Herbal Essense with 2 $1 and got them for $1.50/pc and I used the $5 off Halloween and got a light up pumpkin for .99 after the coupon.
We got a pumpkin bucket and pumpkin cup for my son 🙂

I got several goodies for my secret sister at my job for our halloween exchange ABSOLUTELY FREE…I don’t know if they keep track of what coupons they give you…but i am SOOOOO going back some times this week to see if I can score more free gift items for halloween! Today, I picked up some fuzzy socks, a little pumpkin tea light, and a little fold up box to put candy in! I could have gotten other things too like pumpkin carving sets, face makeup, and tatoo sets to give out to kids halloween night etc. What an awesome coupon!

HI all! I loved this coupon today! My Dh is a teacher so I got some fun giveaway stuff for him to give his students for Halloween – jelly bracelets, eyeball superballs, and pumpkin erasers. Also picked up all my other stuff for the week and spent only $5.80 for $100 worth of stuff, plus got back $26 in ECBs! It was an awesome CVS trip today!

2nd one: My card. 6 puffs tissues, 2 Charmin TP, Dulcolax.
Used $1 off 6 puffs, two $1 off Charmin, 9.99 raincheck for Dulcolax and $8 on-line coupon.
Paid with $5/$30 from CVS email, $19.79 in ECB’s, and $1.21 cash. Got $20 ECB’s back
3rd one: My card. $5 Halloween Stuff, 2 Bonne Belle Lipsmackers, 2 Clorox Bleach, 2 Revlon Nail Color, 1 Schick Hydro Razor, 1 Schick Hydro Shave Gel.
Used $5/25 from CVS email, $5 Halloween coupon from machine, two $1 Lipsmackers from on-line, $2/2 Revlon Nailcolor Coupon, $4 razor coupon, Free Shave Gel coupon from razor package. Used $10 ECB from prev. transaction. Paid $1.99 cash
This was a particularly good week. The sale prices plus the coupons were a good start, and there were a couple of good email coupons that I got and the shave gel coupons were a great bonus I found at the store!

I got the $5 coupon and used it for the Halloween orange lights for the porch and my mother gave me her coupon and I got a nice harvest door mat.
I also purchased 2 nail polishes and used 2 $1 coupons getting $6 ECBs. Love it.
I snagged the Pumpkin Decorating set today…different from the ones I got last year…oh I LOVE deals!
