I got the same error message.

Did anyone else buy this necklace or the pearl bracelet previously and find that the odor was unbearable? I thought they were so cute and planned to give them as gifts but ended up returning them. They smelled so strong like varnish. There were tags on them that said not for use for kids under 14. I’m not sure what that was about but I’m sure it related to the smell. Bummer, cuz they’re cute.
Ya they were stinky! Lol I got the bracelets. Not sure if it was the packaging cuz the plastic bubble wrap they were in was soooo smelly! I took mine out of the plastic and let them breathe for a couple of weeks and they were ok.
I ordered the necklace and bracelet the last time when it was on sale for $2.50. The odor that came from the box was horrible and I thought it was just my box. Also the pearls on the necklace are very big. Not too crazy about this purchase.
I ordered the Vera Wang Breast Cancer pin ($2.50) and it was so poorly made I returned it. (the pin didn’t even reach the closure)… Vera Wang would have cried if she had seen it.
I got the necklace and the bracelet when it was $2.50 each and I am returning them this week, I too thought that they were poorly made. Though I know it’s for a good cause I would have never paid full price for these. The beads are HUGE and the bows don’t stay tied together. I thought they were very pretty online, but not that great looking in person.

I got that necklace a couple weeks ago, and I think it’s so ugly w/ the chains. But I just took a pliers and removed the chains easily, and it’s a pretty pearl necklace now!

I ordered the Vera Wang necklace for $2.50 the last time and I don’t know what to do with it. It’s not even worth the effort to return it. It is really ugly, chunky, not delicate at all and that ribbon is really cheap quality. At least they could have used some real satin ribbon…. I can’t even offer it as a gift, cause I don’t know anyone who would wear such a thing 🙁

If you have a store close to you just go into the store and order from their in-store kiosks to get free shipping.
It’s worked for me every single time. I do all my selections at home, write down the item numbers on a sticky, drive 5 minutes to my store, spend another 5 minutes finding everything on the kiosk, and save myself the shipping fee. Not really worth it if you have 1 item…but if you have 5+ items then it’s definitely worth it!
Wouldn’t work on most of the big deals, items sell out VERY fast.
Got the bracelet when they were 2.50, Super cute! No smell, but broke on my way home from church after wearing it for the first time. They were great about the exchange. So I would buy it for a dollar!

I did this earlier. Alot of stuff I wanted did go out of stock while shopping. I did wind up getting some cute stuff for two of my nieces for their birthday. Fleece pants for $1.85 including shipping is a great deal. I agree that 99 cents per item is kind of a rip off but when I figured it out per item, it is still a great deal. 🙂

I was very disappointed in the all the Vera Wang jewelry I ordered last time. It was the necklace pictured above and two different bracelets. They are huge! and not the best quality. They also smelled awful. I agree with another poster, Vera Wang would have cried if she saw what her name was attached to.

i also wanted to say, if it is poor quality, very sad. Kohls cares for kids merchandise in the past has been of the highest quality. They are the best stuffed animals we own, as far as softness, size and durability…also the books are fabulous and at 5 dollars where as barnes and noble sell them for 15, you can’t beat that while helping kids!
I agree. Usually the quality is great. My son has a “baby jaguar” that we got from Kohls about 3 years ago. He totes it EVERYWHERE, sleeps with it every night, It goes to school and back home everyday so he can have it for nap time, its been washed in the washing machine in gentle more times than I can count and that thing still looks brand new.
Its sad to hear that their quality standards appear to be dropping.
I dont know about the rest of you but when I get my necklace the first thing I’m going to do is smell it, I might get some funny looks! I hope it ends up looking cute for something even if its not wearable.

i wouldn’t recommend the vera wang necklaces. i ordered some earlier, they are extremely poor quality material and seem cheaply made.
most of what I needed was out of stock. But I did get a Christmas dress for my oldest $10 shipped for next year. I am satisfied.

I got free shipping by placing my order over the phone!!!!! I was originally paying $20 WITH shipping, and customer service asked if I could spend $25 in order for free shipping. I’d much rather pay $5 more and get $25 in clothes instead of only $15 in clothes and $5 in shipping!
