   Sad a good deal but why would I want to pay text messaging charges? So really it is a charge not free…folks at Pantene need to look at this one again.

  You can text for free from your yahoo email account. look where open up the box to send a new email….. You should also have the option to text or chat. I text myself all the time when I cant find my phone,lol.

   It signs you up for text messages from P&G but you can text STOP 2 to cancel. We have unlimited texts so I did it.

    A lot of people have unlimited text plans…some times you can also text for free from the web but the only service i know of that lets you receive them for free is Google Voice and sometimes that doesn’t work if you have to indicate which carrier you use.

    Thanks alot! I was able to get it! I used the “magic number” of 24, just to see what happened, and it worked. Since the sample is going to go for my niece, who is around that age, I figured I wasn’t exactly not telling the truth! 🙂

  so I was really tired last night and when i read marie claire what popped into my head was marie calendar…i was like did I just sign up with the company that makes pies?? 🙂 still have the question though of is marie claire the company that makes pantene?

    I just tried it and after I sent the 3rd and final text, I received a reply that the offer has expired but if I reply to this I can get a URL to request the sample through there website.

    I think PG needs to look at this again. First, what if you don’t have free text messaging; second why send three messages before you learn the offer is expired. Finally, why not just offer the URL in the first place!!

    I just had the same experience as Kelly, saying it expired. it gave me this URL: https://bit.ly/dbPlx6 but when I entered it, it just redirected me to the P&G website and I already got my sample from there. Grrrrr.
