Hickory Farms: 75% off + $10 Flat Rate Shipping

I just wanted to give you all a heads up that Hickory Farms is still offering up their 75% off sale! I know shipping pretty much killed the deal last time I posted (I couldn’t believe how much some of you were getting charged), so I am happy to report they are currently offering up $10 flat rate shipping! I would suggest purchasing a few items to make the $10 in shipping you’ll pay worth it.

*Even sweeter, you can send a care package to a Military friend or family member and you’ll score FREE APO/FPO/DPO shipping!

(Thanks for the heads up,  Catherine & Debra!)

At my commissary they were selling a few different sets of these for the discounted prices. I didnt have to worry about shipping. I got the Beef Hickory Sampler Gift Box for just $4.

I don’t know why, but it really bugs me that you advertise your swagbucks referral code here!! I know it is silly of me to be annoyed about that, but I see it A LOT on “hip2save”s comment pages. I get maybe once or twice, but I see it everywhere!!!

      • DP

I was just about to say the same thing – What may have interested me I deliberately will NOT click on it due to your methods of sneakiness.

        • Cierra

Wow, I personally always click on her referral codes because she takes the time to post them for us, and deserves the credit. She doesn’t get paid to do this website, she takes time out of her life to do something she loves to help others save time and money. You really shouldn’t leave comments like that, it is so disrespectful. =/

          • Katie

Those previous comment weren’t to Collin, they were to Melissa.
And yes, Collin does get paid. She gets tons of money from referral links as well as Google Ads, and other companies she goes though that give her special links that she makes money off of. She wouldn’t purchase a website and spend so much time on it without getting anything in return. Not saying she doesn’t like doing it, she does, and we love that she does it, it’s just that you can’t assume anything.

            • Jenna

I think she’s right, even if she does make money off ads you should support it, not call the methods sneaky!

            • Mc

My comments were NOT directed at Colin…they were directed at MELISSA…this is Colin’s site, she can (and should) post referrral links…I just think it is bad news to have other people post their referral codes…imho!!

            • Molly

I think the point is getting lost. Collin has every right to post anything she wants. This is her website and a source of not only helping others, but another income. For other people, in this case Melissa, to be advertising on Collin’s page is disrespectful. It is as if she were putting advertisements on the side of the page (such as google and groupon and eversave, etc) with out paying. So, Collin ends up losing the referal (which ends up being money, points, etc depending on the sight being refered!)

and, personally, whenever I see someone posting there referal links on sights like
this I always go out of my way NOT to use theirs and search the referal link posted by the blog-owner… since they are the ones working hard to find all the deals for us! ๐Ÿ™‚

I hope that makes some sense! ๐Ÿ™‚

Just sent one to my cousin who just deployed to Afghanistan….thanks Hip2Save and a BIG thanks to Hickory Farms! It’s rare for companies to remember soldiers anymore!

  4. Robin

I sent $200 worth to my deployed son, when you first posted this… cost me $50! How sweet a deal is that? It’s great that they’ve dropped the shipping for everyone now to a much more affordable amount. Who doesn’t love to get Hickory Farms?

  5. JEAN COOK

Not sure why but when I got to the last page to place my order … the shipping jumped from $10 to $16. Did this happen to anyone else???

  6. Kathy

Ordered up the largest gift set, 3 log sampler, Cashew tin and mixed nuts all for $49 shipped. What a deal for Hickory Farms!! It’s the only Beef Summer Sausage we eat! All the other brands are horrible! Thanks for the heads up!

  7. Anabel M

The chocolate treats will be geat for an early Valentines gift. ๐Ÿ™‚ THANK YOU! My boyfriend also LOVES Summer Sausage, so this is a great way to surprise him with a treat.

  8. Sheila

I’m so sad โ€” my beloved petit fours are sold out! Thank you for letting us know about this great deal… I’m glad more people can take advantage of it.

  9. Taylor

Anyone know how long hickory farms last for? Expiration date?

    • rebate queen

I can’t tell you exactly, but it’s a good while!

Call the cust service number for more accurate info!

I e-mailed Customer Service to ask about the shelf life of sausage, cheeses and nuts. I know that all of these items will last for awhile, but looking at gift giving for birthdays, etc. a few months in advance, I wanted to be sure. Here is their response:

The shelf life of our Beef Summer Sausage. The Hickory Farmsยฎ Beef Summer Sausage is good for 7-9 months, if stored at 70 degrees or less and unopened. Please refer to the “best by” date on package. If opened, the beef summer sausage should be kept in the refrigerator (less than 41 degrees) for up to 3 weeks.

Our pasteurized cheeses may be left out of refrigeration however, temperature variances above 75 degrees are not advised and the product should be refrigerated to prolong quality. After opening, unused portions of cheese can be wrapped or placed in an airtight container and can remain in the refrigerator (less than 41 degrees F.) for up to 3-4 weeks.

Most of the nuts that we carry have a shelf life of 6 months. All of our products have a best if used by date printed on them.

Hope this helps you make your purchases!

Now that’s more like it! Thanks!! ๐Ÿ™‚

  11. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

AMAZING…love Hickory Farms stuff. Bought a little of everything..for us and to share!!

  12. Jessica

thanks so much, I just sent a gift pack to my cousin and her husband stationed in the Middle East somewhere… she craves real cheese (not goat cheese), and he wants meat. So a perfect combo!!! Thanks so much!

    • Tee

I lived in the middle east a few years ago, you could buy “real” cheese when I lived there. That sucks that they’re not able to get the comforts of home where they are ๐Ÿ™
