    Hello,

Does anyone now if I can do this deal at Walmart if I print the ad out on the computer and bring it in? Plus bring in coupons for it? I have a copy of walmarts policies but just want to check if I can print out the ad instead of bringing in the original ad. I do no get it since I do not have a kmart near me. I would like to get the elefun for my sons birthday and chutes and ladders. Thank you in advance for your advice. 🙂

Our local Walmarts only price match for stores in a 30 mile radius. Your region may be different, it won’t hurt to call & ask them.

Thanks I will do that. 🙂

My Walmart is very lenient and accepts ads printed off the internet, and will price match any where in the state. Good luck!

What a mess this was! I was at my local Kmart today, and the candy land rung up at 8.99. The lady argued with me that the ad ment that you saved $2 with the coupon. I politely explained to her that yes, I was saving the $2 with the coupon, but that it says that if I bought the playdoh game, that i got the candyland for $2, and with the ad that it’s free. She said “there’s no way that’s right!” and got VERY rude. She called the manager over and the manager said that she thinks that it should have been $4, then with the $2 coupon, it would be the $2 advertised price. I politely pointed out that if that was the case, the playdoh game would have rung up at $17.99, not the $14.99 advertised price since that one as well had the “save an additional $3 with the playsaver coupon”. It was a HOT mess, but I eventually got what I wanted.

Really hope I don’t have the same problems! We have a B-day Party of Saturday and this is going to be part of the present. 🙂

I had this same issue today!!! I went to my local Kmart and had the Sales Manager tell me that it would be $2 AFTER the coupons. I politely told her that first of all the Candy Land game should be regular pice $8.99 according to the ad, not the $9.99 that it was marked and rang up as. I also indicted that if it was the case, if you take $5 in coupons off $8.99, the total is NOT $2. She then proceeded to tell me that there is no way Kmart would give you a game for $2 when the regular price is $9.99. The Assistant Manager came up and agreed that they had to give it to me for $2 as the ad indicated, although believed it was a misprint. Then when she rung it back up to correct the pricing, she told me she couldn’t give me the Candy Land game for $2 because after the coupon it would make the game free. So instead she charged me $4 for the Candy Land and then took the coupons off.

I have sent an email to Kmart’s customer service indicating the issue that I had today and requested a refund or store credit for the $2 that the managers felt was a misprint/incorrect deal. We will see what they come back with. Who knows, maybe I will end up with something additional for the issues that I experienced. I would encourage you to also email them with the issue. Their email address is help@customerservice.kmart.com.

As an additional comment – I did receive a response from Kmart’s customer service within an hour!!! Now THAT’S customer service for this type of thing! They apologized and confirmed it was not a misprint and that this deal is for both games for $14.99. They are sending me a coupon for $10 off my next purchase of $50 or more, which I know I will spend without an issue. Just wanted to give everyone an update.
