I just wanted to you guys that our toilet got backed up because of a product like these. If you have an older house, just be careful or throw these away – that is according to our plumber.
Susan, you beat me to it. My hubby is a plumber and he says to never ever flush anything other than tp. I like to use these to clean up the kids hands/faces.
Great product that is NOT compatible with 19th century plumbing. DO NOT flush!
NOTHING goes in our septic except bodily waste after my husband worked for a septic company for a short time. Thankfully he no longer has that job but it sure was educational. 😮

Yay! I got it! Thanks! I got this offer last time, I actually just opened the pack a few weeks ago. I use these like baby wipes for our littlest kitty,who has tummy problems.
I imagine we’ll have to get it someplace other than Wal Mart though, due to their coupon policy.
Walgreen’s is very coupon friendly, and I have NEVER had a problem using any coupon there. If you have one close to you I would suggest going there. If not, you can still use it at Walmart. They accept free coupons if they are directly from the manufacturer; they just won’t accept free internet, print-at-home coupons.

I just tried again and it let me maybe their was to many people before and the server was getting overloaded.
I got this the last time they offered it and tried them for the first time. They are great! I use them instead of the Always clean wipes. I haven’t had any trouble flushing them down the toilet, and I live in a house that was built in the 50’s and has not been remodeled. Cottonelle is by far my favorite brand on TP products. I love to see companies that really give back to consumers with frequent offers like these! 🙂

The word from my septic person – when we had our county required 5-yr “flush”, he said he saw lots of “washcloth sized towels” in the tank. He was able to get them out but it took a little more work. We use the flushable moist wipes, maybe a few per day, and don’t put anything else down there. So unless someone was flushing a bunch of baby wipes that I didnt know about, they take a loooooong time to break down. He said they tend to mat up like a beach towel in the bottom of the tank. So needless to say, anything like that goes in the trash now :/ I think the Scott variety are supposed to break down faster.

These wipes survive the washing machine SEVERAL times. I use them for wiping up again and again. It’s not surprising that they’d cause septic issues.
