* Certain frames are NOT eligible for the promotion. If you see a “Coupons not applicable” message on a pair of frames, then it is excluded from the promotion.
* You will need a copy of your current eyeglasses prescription (it’s different from your contact lens prescription) and your PD measurement. Sometimes your PD will be on your prescription, but if not, watch this instructional video on how to measure it.
* After you have chosen your frames and selected your shipping method, you’ll go to a “Order Review & Payment” page, where you can enter and apply your coupon code. After applying your code, you will see your order total before you choose to check out (remember that you will have to pay shipping/handling charges of $10-$15)
* If you would prefer to order a pair of prescription sunglasses, you can use the coupon code and then you can add a tint to your lenses and simply pay for the cost of the tinting, which is about $30.
* Your free pair of glasses will include the standard 1.5 index lenses, which accommodates up to a -8.00. However, if your prescription is over a + or -2.00, you may want to upgrade to a thinner, lighter lens. If you choose to upgrade your lenses, or have selected progressives, Transitions or a tint, you will see the cost of the upgrade in your order total.
* If you’re not happy with your glasses for any reason, Coastal Contacts will allow one exchange for another free pair at an equal or lesser value. They’ll even pay for the return shipping and send you a return label. Just give them a call at 1-866-333-6888 to make arrangements. Remember to keep your box and all the accessories that came with your order.

I cannot ever find my prescription when this is offered….. one of these days!
I finally was able to get a pair $30 is not bad that’s because i added the Coatings Value Bundle then shipping and handling and the insurance thing since I could not get rid of it. But I can’t complain. I just order glasses a week ago and paid way more then that. And I got the one with the clip on sunglasses since I had them before and loved it compared to my new glasses I just got the the lens changes in sun light. Don’t think it works really good. Thanks Hip 2 Save for posting this and reminding us.
One more Question for those who already ordered and go them. How long did they usually take to get them?
I got some not too long ago…..it took less than a week & I LOVE them!!
I get my daughter a free pair last week and they get here on monday, less than a week, I only pay $12 por shipping, and she love them.
I couldn’t figure out how to take Insurance/handling off the total but w/ no add ons, I got a pair of ‘geek chic’ glasses for under $19. Cheaper than anywhere else I suppose and they’re shipping them to AK for me. Yay! Thanks, Collin 🙂

I ordered last time. They came very quickly! Unfortunately, the frames were very crooked and one lens was chipped up badly. 🙁 However, they have great customer service. I called today and they emailed me a prepaid label for return. They also offered to replace them free of charge, but I told them I just wanted a refund(since they are a spare pair anyway). As soon as they receive them back, they will process a full refund. 🙂 So I can’t really complain. They also said I will be able to take advantage of the free glasses offer again if I change my mind. From what I have read, my situation(damaged glasses) is not the norm. But if something does happen to go wrong, they will make it right. So you have nothing to lose!
Got mine last time and LOVE them! I am extremely nearsighted, so I was obviously concerned when I ordered the basic (cheapest) lenses that they would look like coke-bottle glasses!! This wasn’t the case at all! For $16, I got cute glasses with lenses that are actually a little bit thinner than my expensive designer frames I had ordered from my eyedoctor with supposedly “thin” lensesI
I am also extremely nearsighted (-8.75) and I don’t have the option to buy the basic lenses, it’s forcing me to pick the high index lenses, how did you avoid that?
I just snagged a pair. I got some titanium frameless with thin lenses – had to pay the difference on the lens upgrade plus shipping, but this was still a STEAL compared to local. I had JUST priced nearly identical frames in Stainless at WalMart, and they were $110 just for the frames. The Titanium should be even lighter.

I ordered my pair when this was available last week, just received them today. I needed new glasses so this wasn’t just an extra pair for me. I got the coatings upgrade plus my perscription is moderately high so i got the thinner lenses. Total after all that and shipping was only $64, totally thrilled! Had I purchased at the place at the mall during their 50% off sale, my total would have been $185! Plus they came with a hard case, soft cloth case, cleaning cloth, and screwdriver. Can’t beat that!
