can you get more than 1 $10?
Yep… you sure can! 🙂 In the fine print it states “For every 5 referrals who register for the StumbleUpon Share Program, you will receive one $10.00 Amazon gift card.” So if you refer 10 people, then you’ll score two $10 Amazon gift cards!
Do you know of anyone who has done this, or is this new?
yes collin probably has. if you click on her link up top she gets referrals.
I have invited 39 people, all have joined. I have gotten an email EVERY time someone joined because of me, yet I have gotten NO EMAILS about getting rewarded with the gift codes 🙁
Plus, when does this offer end??
And can I change my icon, because I’m a GUY
But they have to actually sign up, right???
correct
i just did the part where u send it to 5 friends and the email that got sent to them went to there “spam” not to there “inbox” so my question is if this was legit wouldn’t it have went to the inbox and not automatically be marked as “spam” ….
Hi Katie,
This is a very legit offer… StumbleUpon has posted about this on their Facebook page –
https://www.facebook.com/StumbleUpon?sk=wall
Hope that helps! 🙂
Thank you!!! I will pass on the message!
I think what determines which emails get sent to a spam folder depends more upon the email user’s settings than on the sender. For example, some people have their emails set up so that the only messages that get delivered to the inbox is those from people in their contacts list, with all other emails getting sent directly to spam.
can we put our link on here?
You are welcome to share links on my Facebook page…

fokshainga join me
so just for signing up or is there something to buy
Nope… it’s FREE to sign up! They don’t have to buy anything.
How do we find our link?
After signing up, go to the link listed below to get your link and share this offer with friends…

Seems too good to be true. How long until they start banning people for “cheating”?
lots of things go to my spam…doesn’t mean it is spam….i have had important messages go to my spam
how do i check how many has signed up?
They will send you an e-mail stating you had a friend sign up, and when you reach 5 they will send you one saying they will e-mail you a code for your $10 amazon gift card soon.
Is anyone having problems with actually getting the referrals to credit? I had 3 people at work sign up and have only gotten one email?
maybe it takes a min im having the same problem so thanks for asking.
how do you find you friend referral link??
Dear karen,
Congratulations!
Five of your friends have successfully signed up for StumbleUpon, earning you a $10 credit to Amazon and a chance to win a free iPad 2.
Share again directly on Facebook or Twitter to earn more Amazon credits and additional entries to the iPad 2 sweepstakes:
We’ll distribute rewards within 30 days of the end of the month in which your fifth referral signs up.
Thanks for sharing!
StumbleUpon
Is there anyone wants to give me the link so I can sign up under your name? 😀
I will if you haven’t gotten one already!
How do they know where to mail the gift card?
they just send you an e-mail with a coupon code that you enter on amazons site that will credit your account $10
I fricken loooove Stumbleupon… its my worst addiction. i stumble all night, thinking, just one more page and I’ll go to bed and I look up to realize 45 min has passed and I stumbled probably 15 pages. Love it!!!
LOL, I know EXACTLY what you mean! I’ve wasted countless hours stumbling. StumbleUpon just helps me find the more interesting bits of the internet. And sometimes, they actually help me find really useful websites and blogs.
I signed up for this, but don’t think I’ll use it very often. A coworker told me his IT guy warned him not to use it because he was getting viruses. Just a warning!
Actually, you’re right, it’s a valid possibility just because StumbleUpon sends you to a whole bunch of random websites and blogs that you would never go to otherwise. (Visiting more random/foreign websites increases your chance of visiting a website that might infect your computer.)
But if you feel that your computer is competently equipped with firewalls, anti-virus, etc, then it’s a great little program to help you explore parts of the internet that would interest you.
how cool! thanks for sharing!
I got the email that they will send the amazon card but where they will mail it , there is nowhere to put my address?
they send a code to your e-mail address, like they do on swagbucks if you have ever redeemed your swag bucks for an amazon gift card.
How soon after you got your five referrals did you get an email from them saying you qualified for the gc? Thanks!
I tried this refer a friend with some other site a few months ago. It kept track of my “qualified” referrals. No gift card., so I emailed them. They told me my referrals were not “valid” (whatever that means). Meanwhile they kept hitting on my friends with spam. What exactly is a “qualified” referral, does anyone know? Thank you.
It keep saying error . .
Here is my link. Would love to get the $10 gift card
Is this still good as it’s the 15th going on the 16th
Is this still going on?
Does anyone know if this is still good?
Has anyone gotten their credit from this company?! I received an email in November saying I would get a $10 credit to Amazon within 30 days from the end of the month in which my fifth referral signed up. Therefore I should have received it by the end of December. I emailed them over a week ago and no response….but I keep getting their marketing emails….
Im wondering the same thing. I had 15 referals and would love that Amazon credit.
I also sent them an email but it was several weeks back and no response.
I was told the end of December and the referral money never came. I sent a second inquiry on 1/9, and I haven’t heard anything yet. :/
No, dice here either. The page in your account that had all the referrals on it is gone now also. Smells like a scam to me. 🙁
i haven’t received anything yet. I received the same email as Amber in November saying i would get $10 amazon credit – nothing so far. Please do let us know if anyone receives it.
thanks!
I’ve been in contact with Extole, the company that handled the Refer-A-Friend promotion for StumbleUpon for the last couple of weeks.
After my 5 referrals, I received an email on Nov. 19 stating that I met the requirements and would receive my $10 gift card. Of course, it never came. I sent a follow up email at the beginning of Jan. and was told they would check into it. 10 days later, after hearing nothing, I emailed them again. This time, I received a follow-up email within a couple hours telling me that my referrals weren’t valid because they weren’t “Stumbling in a typical fashion” and that I wouldn’t receive my credit.
After reading the comments above, it seems I’m not alone. I feel like we have been scammed by StumbleUpon! Is there anything we can do?
