Do I have any readers out there who get Advent Calendars for their kiddos every year? I am a big fan of Advent calendars! I grew up doing them as a child and have such fond memories. I still get excited watching my kiddos open the little boxes everyday. And, of course, looking at the excitement in their eyes makes it even better!

Advent calendars can be on the expensive side… especially if you want to get the varieties that have actual toys and not just candy.  So I was very excited when I found out about this *HOT* Target deal!

Currently (and I am guessing these will sell out fast!), you can snag this LEGO City Advent Calendar for only $22.90 shipped! You see, it’s on sale for $27.90 (regularly $34.99!)… plus, head to checkout and use coupon code TGTFA25C to score an additional $5 off AND shipping is Free! So your final cost will come to just $22.90 (+ tax) shipped! This is the lowest price I’ve seen!

I saw advent calendars at my local Dollar Store–way cheaper than the nearly $30 to order this one, and my kids will be just as happy.

      me too =]

Bought this online yesterday at regular price, but was able to get an adjustment this morning when I saw that the price went down!! 🙂 It hadn’t shipped yet and I still had the option to cancel it, which I was prepared to do and then reorder, but I figured I would call CS first and they had no problems giving me an adjustment. They are sending it in the form of a giftcard, but I don’t mind at all! 🙂

I am so waiting next year! I bought mine early this year & spent $34.99 + the cost of shipping! This is a great deal for $22.90! My kids are older & they still love it!

I also seen in the target Ad the crayola crayon make for 19.99 and theres a $5 off coupon. 🙂

    • heidi

My daughter loves her crayon maker. She’s had it for 3 years and still plays with it.

  5. Angelica

This is the first time I buy the advent calendar. I’m sure my kids will love it.
    Thanks again!

  6. Donia

Our Meijer had them for $19.99! (in store only) I know Meijer isn’t as widespread but in case you have one near you it might be worth checking out 🙂

What exactly is an advent calendar?

    • Kristen

Advent is the season of preparation for Christmas (four Sundays for Catholics, anyway), so some people open a box of an Advent every day leading up to Christmas (usually about 25 days). Sometimes they have candy inside, sometimes Bible verses, and apparently sometimes Legos 😉
Very cool idea, and seems like a good price compared to what it normally is, but for me personally Christmas is commercialized enough without my kids thinking they need a present every day leading up to Christmas, lol.

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I decided to use the little people nativity and let the kids open one piece a day with the baby Jesus as the last piece on Christmas Eve. This way we can talk about the meaning of each piece and Christ’s birth all month. 😉

      • Kristen

I just re-read my comment; sorry if I came off as sanctimonious! I think the toy is really cute and debated buying it, but decided it didn’t really fit with my personal goal of keeping Christmas more Christ-focused as well as a more religious calendar would. Although I’m not opposed to candy in the calendar as long as there’s a Bible verse too 😉

        • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

You might check out the Playmobil advent calendars for next year. They have a very nice nativity scene advent.

  8. Kristen

Thanks! I have been waiting to get a good deal on this. I also used a $5 gift card that I got free with purchase yesterday, so my final cost was less than $20!

I was just wishing the Lego one came in a more “religious” version … I’m envisioning kids putting together a piece of a Nativity scene each day, haha. I would be all over that!

    • Heather

I’m doing the same! I got in on the great deal from Family Christian store last month.

I just purchased this in-store for more, so I will be returning it after I receive the one I just ordered for less. My son really enjoys building with Legos, and I love that he’s able to follow the steps so well when he builds this way. We have fun at the free miniature Lego nights the first Tuesday of every month, so this count down to Christmas Lego calendar is perfect for us.
Thank you for posting this lower priced offer

    • Amanda

I can’t seem to get one in my cart so I am guessing these are sold out? Anyone know for sure?

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

        I can;t get it either 🙁

    • toma

Well, I got an order confirmation days ago but that has been it! I guess this will be like the jeans I ordered months ago that never came and finally I checked and my order for the jeans had been cancelled! What is up with Target? And I was sssssoooo excited about this!

  12. amy

I have been looking for a good price on this for a while. Thank you so much!!!

  13. Ashley

I think they are sold out 🙁

  14. Brenda

If you missed this deal you can still get them at Barnes and Noble for 4o% off thru the 24th if you get their coupons emailed to you. I picked up 2 yesterday.

    • emilytwinmom

I did the same thing at B&N, have never seen the lego ones before. I can’t wait to see what’s in it!!! LOL! Much cheaper than this deal, and I knew my order wouldn’t be cancelled. I was so overcharged last time I ordered from Target.com and I still haven’t received half my order, will never order from them again.

    • maureen

do you happen to have a 40% off code for barnes and noble?

  15. Brenda

Sorry not computer savy. You can also get the coupon for 40% off toys( legos not excluded) on slickdeals. Type Barnes and Noble in the search box.

  16. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

    sold out

  17. Cathy

Collin-thanks so much for posting this. I just ordered this last week for my daughter at 34.99, but called and they are crediting me $7 and something. I would never had known if I didn’t check your website daily. Thanks for everything you do! And I’m with you, I’ll much prefer shopping in my pjs to dealing with Black Friday madness. In fact, in my area, the madness doesn’t stop until after the new year. I hate shopping at stores this time of year.

  18. amy

sold out! only a limited supply in stores and i assume not at the same price. bummer.
