Saw this on slickdeals and did it this morning. Got an error page after submitting my order, however I checked my email and did receive the e-gift cards. I still have not received my bonus e-gift card, however. Hope it comes!

    • Audrey

Amanda, I got the same message and called customer service to double check. He said that the last card will be coming in 24 hours. If I dont recieve mine by then I am going to call back. The number is 1-800-Starbuc (in case you don’t get yours)

      • amanda

        Thanks Audrey!

    • Ana

how long after doing the order did you get the e-mail? I just got the same issue. I don’t want to go back and keep ordering in case the order did go through.

      • amanda

I think it took about 5 minutes or so.

    • Wendi

I was told Visa wil deliver it to your inbox within 24 hours.

      • Mary

I ordered mine Saturday night around 8 pm and haven’t received anything yet….it is Sunday around 5…

        • Kristen

I ordered mine last evening (Saturday) around 7:30 and received the 4 I paid for within about 10 minutes — but no signs of the free card and I can’t find offer details spelled out on the site.

while free coffee is always good…im freakin’ out about the Fandango tickets deal I got and cant exactly figure out how to use. (I cant find original post to ask quesitons under so im going here with it-sorry). I got as far as the “youre so close” page that includes the deal code. could someone –anyone—please tell me what the next step is? do i have to purchase tickets for an exact date and time? it seems that way to me…just need to know for sure as this is a gift my sister is giving to someone, along with the tickets she bought. –I dont want to have to give out my credit card number to them….it states at the top of the page “select movie and show time, then use Promo Code aget entering credit card number at checkout” …holy cow please HELP! am I interpreting this right? i read in the past where people were using this as a gift for christmas….i assume its to someone they are close to if they have to give out their card number. sorry for the rambling…..just got to get this figured out soon.

    • Callie

May try ” fandango” in search engine on hip2save

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

If you received a Fandango Movie promo code, just visit Fandango.com, select a movie and time that you want to see, and proceed to check out. Click on the promo code box and enter the unique Fandango code you have! You shouldn’t have to pay anything unless the code is worth less than the movie (ie. if you are seeing 3D movies it may cost extra, etc)
      Hope that helps! 😀

      • Meirav

I actually had an issue when trying to redeem yesterday a fandango code that I purchased through Eversave and redeemed through Digital Doorstep. Even though it states it’s worth 24$, and I tried to purchase 1 adult ticket (11$ + 1.25 fee) and 1 child ticket (8$ + 1.25$ fee) which was a total of 21.50, it still asked me to pay 0.25$, which was really annoying and never happened before with any other codes that I had purchased.
I thought it was a technical issue and called Fandango. They told me that the problem was with the way the voucher was coded and it was taking 12$ per ticket actually and not 24$ off your entire order (as it should do) and that’d why I still had to pay the extra money.
I tried to contact Eversave, but they were already out of their business hours, and Digital Doorstep answered and put me on hold for over 12 minutes until I hung up.
I was very disappointed. It is very unlike Eversave deals to have a hidden catch.

  3. Kat

can you use the e-giftcards to buy the 12/12 day of christmast deal–the cup for $19.95 for the free january of coffees???

    • angie

      that what I was wondering

      • emily

yep 🙂 its just like a normal gift card

    • Rachel

Sure, it is a gift card towards anything Starbucks, I’m LOVE coffee and am going to transfer all my e-cards to my gold card, *I normally budget my coffee. (I could care less about shoes and purses, but Starbucks is my thing!)

      • michellecochranwells

Ah, Rachel. You and I think just alike! I LOVE my gold card and I’m there every single day (sometimes more on a bad day…ha!). My husband jokes that he works to support my “habit.”

    • Tracy

Could someone please point me to this deal where you buy the cup and you get January of coffees?

      • Erica

You have to sign up via text message for the 12 days of merry. Text Merry to 697-289 to sign up. On the 12th day it will be to purchase a cold cup and get free coffee for Jan.

        • Kat

you can buy the cup anytime–i got one already–it’s the one with the shades of brown large numbers with white background on it and tells you the deal at the bottom edge of the cup-has pictures of little cups…

  4. Julie johnson

Thanks so much! I just got mine and going to upload to my registered card;)

  5. Diana

Just a FYI, If you have a starbucks card already, you can go online and transfer the money from the eGift card into it. So you don’t have to print it out and just bring your card like you normally would. 😉

    • Michelle

How do you get a starbucks card?

      • mel

its just a plastic GC from buying one @ Starbucks (or any other merchant that offers GCs)

  6. Kristy

    Hey Collin!

Just went thru the whole purchase process with 4 $5 gift cards and got to purchase page and said problem with site and went back and started over and no $5 gift card option, just $15 and up! Oh well….

    • Nancy

      Kristy,

That happened to me. So I went back to order and I too got the $15 and up page. So I went back to Collin’s post and started from there and then I got the $5 gift card page up. However, before I ordered again, I checked my inbox and my cards were there! Glad I didn’t reorder them Hope you got yours.

      Nancy

  7. Janice

Try it again..It said it couldn’t so I hit purchase again..and it went through that time..hope I still get my $5! lol ugh!

  8. jenanne

I always find it amusing that people think a $5 cup of coffee is a good deal. lol!

    • Debbie

Different items are good deals to different people. I personally LOVE coffee and it is my treat to me. I save enough on other deals with coupons that this is one of my “splurges.” To each his/her own….

      • Danielle

Same here, it is a worthy splurge for me! Some people splurge on more expensive items!!!

      • michelle

I just get the drip coffee, and my syrup is free with my gold card. So I’m only paying $1.20. Then after 15 purchases, I get a free drink. That’s when I get my latte! It’s my splurge for “those” days.

    • Mary

Me too. My husband lives at Starbucks….sometimes I have to call and tell them to send him home!! LOL

      • Debbie

DH also nuts over cappuccino @ SB.Wish I’d never told him to try it yrs ago!
Oh, the $$$ I could have saved!

    • Laurie

if it were just coffee, it’d be ridiculous to pay so much, at least IMO, but it’s the lattes and mochas and eggnog chai tea lattes that I can’t reproduce w.o. buying a crazy expensive machine and a ton of supplies. i bought a cheap machine once to try and replicate, and it was nowhere close.

  9. emily

woohoo! I ordered 4 $5 gift cards and already received my free $5 gift card in my inbox! Thanks Collin!

    • Ana

Did you also receive the gift cards? How long did this take? I did 2 orders and I got an error message, then an e-mail saying my order is being processed.

      • emily

I got the free egift within moments but I have not received the egifts I paid for yet, just an email saying they are being processed.

        • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I got my FREE card within minutes but the ones I paid for took about 15 minutes to arrive…

          • Mary

I hava not received ANYTHING!! I ordered Saturday night and Monday afternoon. I printed out my confirmations….but nothing in my mailbox. Anyone else having problems??

            • Lara

Same here Mary, looks like there are a few of us having this issue. Call their customer service to report it. I called yesterday, they told me to wait until today but I just sent Starbucks customer service an email so I have a record of it.

            • Mary

Do you have the customer service number. I guess I should shot them an email too.

  10. Ana

I just get their small bold pic for 1.50. That’s a good deal for good coffee (cheaper than Dunkin actually).

Of course I am cheap enough that I still carry around my own and reuse cups.

    • Erica

If you bring in your own reuseable cup to Starbucks you will get a $0.10 discount on any drink.

  11. Emily

I got an error message the 1st time I tried, and when I tried again it worked. Then, about 15 minutes later, I got 8, $5 gift cards. So I guess the original order went through! Haven’t gotten the extra gift card from Visa yet but I’ll post back if I got 2 (or if the limit is only 1)

  12. Ana

Terribly sorry to spam, but can you do this deal more than once on the same card? I don’t see any fine print limiting it. Thank you

    • Mary

I would like to know that too. My husband lives on Starbucks.

  13. emily

For those of you who bought 4 e-gift cards how much did you have to pay? Did you charge $20.00 on your visa card?

    • Alyssa Lathrop

      Yes.

    • Lara

Yes, I just used my Visa debit so no finance charges and it worked fine.

  14. Ann

I have off topic question. Have anyone received their Wal Mart Oders( Personalized Stocking) that were for FREE?

    • amanda

      No. Mine was cancelled.

    • fran

      Mine was cancelled, also 🙁

    • Rei

      Mine says still processing…

  15. Ana

Just received a rejection letter from allure for their olay venus gift set. Called the number on the form and they had no clue what I was talking about! Anyone have a contact number or experience? Help!!!!

    • Jen

I had problems with that too… they said my code wasn’t valid! : (

    • Suszy

Yeah – I got an email stating that I exceeded the maximum allowable limit / and then received one check for 9.99 – oh well

      • Jenn

Uh…I received a letter stating I didn’t mail out the rebate in time! What???? Errrrr!

  16. Jen

Awesome, was just about to load $25 on my Starbucks card anyway, saved me $5.00!
    : )

  17. Rajya

How to reload the e-gift cards into my already registered starbucks card? Can anybody please guide me.

    • Anna

When you get the email, click on the “redeem buttom” (I don’t remember what it says exactly), it’ll bring you to a starbucks page where you have to enter your email, then the GC will be brought up. You can print it OR there’s a button that says “transfer to existing starbucks GC” and ask you to login to your account. Then it’ll bring up all the cards associated with your account and select the card, follow the prompts and it’ll transfer!

      • Rajya

        Thanks Anna.

  18. Mtle

If you are member with Costco. You can get the same deal at store and don’t have to wait or be nervous if it ever comes.

  19. Joanne

Did it twice because I thought it didn’t go through…checked my email and it worked twice! Lots of caffeine headed my way! 🙂

    • Debbie

I did mine and waited because several said theirs went through. I ended up calling customer service and my order did not go through. So…I tried again and it worked right away on the second try. Had my e-mail within 5 minutes.

  20. autumn

Does anyone know if you can get the free coffee in January at the Starbucks in Target? Thanks so much!

  21. Lara

I did it but instead of redoing it I hit the back button several times and kept getting the same error when I would select “purchase” – dreading checking my email after seeing these comments – it only went through once. Thank goodness, lol, I used my visa debit! Perfect timing I was just going to go out and get gift cards. I wonder if I take these in if they’d transfer them to the plastic cards???

    • Lara

PS – Thanks for the post Hip2save, you saved me $5 🙂

  22. Dee J.

Thank you for this post! My sons are both in college, and a Starbucks gift card (or e-card in this case) is always an appreciated item for them. Yes, the coffee is pricey, but the Starbucks they stop at is located at the halfway point of their drive home. Five bucks is an okay price for making sure that they are alert and focused for the remainder of the trip back home to mom.

  23. Kat

Just went to Safeway and got my 12 days of xmas coffee mug for january with the 4 e-cards! Hopefully will get my free $5 e-card soon!
    Thanks Colin!

  24. Lisa

Woohooo! Worked just fine for me. Thank Colin!

  25. Jo

When I tried to buy this past few hours, it took forever to be loaded. I waited for 20 mins and when I finaly decided to refresh the page, it says session timeout…. Anyone having the same issue?

  26. Jamie

Can I use the e-cards to buy plastic cards? I would like to put giftcards along with some candy inside the Kohl’s travel mugs that I just bought.

    • Debbie

I’m curious about that too. I wanted to bring my into the store to exchange it into the plastic gift cards. Would they allow that? Does anyone know?

      • Alyssa L.

If you already have a plastic card, you can do it online. Go to redeem the ecard and you have the option to transfer it to a plastic gift card.

  27. Christy

It worked for me! Thank you!!!

  28. Virginia

I got the ones that I paid for but not the free one. Guess a phone call to customer service is in order now. I did this last night and the paid ones showed up right away but as of this morning – not the free one!

    • Jennifer W

Same here. Let me know what they say.

    • Lara

Same here but I’m not to the 24 hours mark yet, figured they ran a bit behind if this deal was popular. If nothing by Monday morning, I’ll give customer service a call then.

  29. Shannon

It’s been over 24 hours now and I still don’t have my free card… I called customer service but they are closed on Sundays. Will call again tomorrow. Very disappointing 🙁

    • Shannon

Just spoke with customer service, they said it takes 24-48 BUSINESS hours to receive the “free” egift card. I still don’t understand how some folks got their free one on a Saturday minutes after placing their order… oh well hope it comes today or tomorrow.

      • Lara

I talked to them also and she said it would take 24 “business” hours and thought that if some people got them immediately, she thought it was because it was at the beginning of the special and the office processing them was still open??? She said if I don’t see it by tomorrow to call back but should be in my email sometime today. I just might wait until Weds to call them back to give them time. Just want to make sure I get it at some point soon 🙂

        • Laurie

my husband did this deal last night. went through fine for him, he said he got the free card before he even got the others in his inbox. i did this deal tonight and only got the 4 I paid for, not the free one. I did not have a starbucks acct set up. was going to do it at the end, but got the “error” message so many others did, so I couldn’t. I wonder if that had any bearing on who had trouble and who didn’t. I DID see on my order page a confirmation that said “congratulations, you qualified for the free $5 card from Visa”.

          • Lara

I didn’t have a SB acct and also had the trouble Saturday night with the error issue. I was wondering if that error problem is causing the delay too. I’m calling back tomorrow or Weds sometime if it has not appeared. I have a feeling it’s NOT coming and will have to get them to correct the problem since no one with the issue has had it resolved. Good news is, too many of us had it so they should be more than aware it is a truthful error on their part and not give much grief in making good on their end.

            • Lara

I called and and the lady was very nice about it and said there were several technical issues with this and an AT&T deal, she took my info and is mailing a $5 gift card. Very easy, glad it went smooth, no fuss at all. Can get upset, I figure sometimes things happen. So if you haven’t received one, look at your email receipt and call the number listed and push #2 for the customer service rep. I was on the phone maybe a total of 3 minutes!

  30. Sara

Thank you! I just placed my order and it says I qualified for the free $5! My husband stops there on his way to work so free coffee is always a good thing!

  31. Meirav

Update: My husband did this deal first on Dec. 3 (Saturday afternoon) and got the free e-card even before he got the 4 he purchased. I did this deal again on Dec. 4 (Sunday afternoon) and got only the ones I purchased and not the free one.
I waited 2 days and just now called to Starbucks CS. The representative told me she cannot send me the missing e-card, but if I already had an actual card, she can load the 5$ directly to it. I do have a card so she loaded the 5$ to my card. I was very happy with her service, so kind and helpful 🙂

  32. Adrianne

I still haven’t received my free cards either. I purchased them on Saturday. I made multiple orders, too, because I repurchased after I got the initial error messages! Starbucks told me it was Visa’s freebie offer, not theirs, so do we contact Visa or SB for the corrections?

    • Nancy

I called Starbucks customer service. They told me that I should expect the free ecard today or tomorrow but to call back if I don’t get it. Apparently, they were slammed with the offers and are still working their way through them.

  33. Dee J

I just called to see where mine was, since way more than 24 “business hours” have passed since my order. The person who took my call is mailing a $5 card in the real mail, and it could take 2-3 weeks to arrive. I asked if the e-version was ever going to show up, and she said probably not, since enough time had passed. I get the impression that they are waiting for the consumer to call to request the $5 card.

  34. Jennifer W

The Starbucks customer service is super helpful and very polite. The lady told me that Visa was slammed with offers but she could send me out a gift card in the mail or add it to a card I already had. Since I don’t have an actual card only the egift cards, I asked her to mail it. It’s a free $5, so I’m good with that!

  35. Lisa

I’m awfully upset over this deal. I spent $20 on these gift cards with my Visa card THE DAY THIS DEAL WAS POSTED! I was able to order 4 $5 cards and we used them with no problem, but I never got the bonus $5 that was promised. I even went to the site and sent an email. Still no response. I love to use the 4X gas points at Kroger, so I would have rather bought them there if I wasn’t going to get ANY benefit from doing this. Anyone have any suggestions?? Very frustrated by being ignored by Starbucks!

    • Nancy

I only got my yesterday. I called once and then emailed once. It took them two days to respond to my email. I would continue to hound them. The guy I talked to on the phone told me to call back if I didn’t receive it.

  36. Cindy

Out of pure desperation to get some gifts for Christmas now that I finally have enough in my account, I decided to try this even though it is getting pretty late in the game. It acted like it was working, even had me put in my credit info. A message came up saying I qualified for the free gift card too! Then I pushed the button on the bottom of the page that said “finish”. A red message came up stating that it could not update at this time. I have no idea what that meant, but I checked my e-mail afterward & still did not recieve the e-cards I ordered or the one I earned. I guess I will call customer service & hope they will take pity on me.
