I don’t know why the Enfamil thing keeps getting posted. All they do is send you a post card to show that you’d prefer the Enfamil package for when you leave the hospital for your baby. All formula companies provide them to market their product. My best guess is that there is an incentive for her posting that continuously.
For those that signed up and didn’t get anything…..keep watching your mailbox. I barely remember signing up at any site, I just did because I thought someone could use the formula (I breastfeed). Anyhow, I got probably 6 full sized samples in the mail a couple months before I had my son. Maybe these companies only send them out once every few months.
glad to hear some people do get something! i signed up almost 5 years ago when i had my daughter and almost a year ago when i had my son and both time’s i never got anything!
anyone know where to get Gerber good start formula coupons. my son only takes those and they are so expensive with very rare/non-existent coupons
I have seen Gerber good start coupons and rebate checks being sold on Ebay for not too much. Might be worth it based on the amount in coupons you can get.

Anne, you can swap Gerber coupons/checks here from other mamas. If you sign up with Gerber direct they should send you checks. I have also gotten 4 free cans of formula in exchange for other coupons I had the other person needed. Gerber is pretty easy to find on thebump.com under swap spot.

I tried to get the free sample for the Good Nights but asked me for my Sam’s membership number. I thought you didn’t have to be a Sam’s Club member to request the sample. Am I not in the right place?

Just a heads up: They use to send the diaper bag filled with coupons straight to your house. I signed up for it again since i’m currently pregnant and now you are emailed a voucher you print off and take to the hospital with you when you go into labor and they give you the bag there. There are other vouchers you can print and take to you OBGYN office for free samples and coupons as well through their website, but it is by availability. My office doesn’t have any of this stuff and I guess I’ll find out in a couple months if the hospital carries the diaper bag.
When I gave birth to my son they just gave me the bag from similac at the hospital, I didn’t even need the coupon.
when i had my son Jan 2nd 2011, my dr’s office no longer had samples and stuff :-(, said the hostital was not aloud to to it any longer since it was trying to get the mom’s to only try certain stuff & then when i had him i only got similac! company’s just don’t give you stuff for your baby anymore at the hospital like they did when i had my daughter 5 1/2 years ago!
My suggestion is if you are pregnant- sign up for Gerber, Enfamil, Similac, etc mailing lists. They send out coupons as well as samples if you list your due date. I got similac and enfamil samples in the mail- plus I got Gerber coupons that were for free formula and some for up to $7.00 off.
At the hospital I got enfamil samples with my breastfeeding packages (and coupons too)- I know someone who works for Enfamil (Mead Johnson)- she said to call their customer service number on the website and let them know you have not received your sample… they will help you out!
Definitely sign up for Similac Strong Moms! You get a $20 credit to Shutterfly that gets held in your account (can’t be combined with other promo codes though–I tried). It says it’s just for birth announcements and that’s where it’s linked to, but my baby isn’t here yet and I was able to apply to a photo book I made so it’s just a generic credit. Similac isn’t really that spammy either.
