Hey I printed the $4 womens sweater and $3 womens sleepwear coupons when they were first available, and I was like thoose coupons are still available (the good coupons usually disapper fast!). So I was like maybe they reset and I tried to print them and was able to print them again!!!!

Scan the Elmo at the Price Scanner. It will say “Receive a $10 Gift Card with Purchase” somewhere on the screen (the right side, I think) if your store is participating in the offer. My Target (Queensbury, NY) didn’t have a sign for the gift card, so I scanned it, and it showed that the offer was valid! I’m super excited about getting this deal! 🙂
Just called the Queensbury Target store and they assured me that the gift card is only if you spend $75 or more…Amanda did you buy anything else along with the elmo? Just dont want to drive over there just to have them tell me no!

Tanya-I am in St. Louis, my total before coupons was 84.00 (and some change)…before I gave him my coupons, he gave me a $10 gift card for the Elmo, a $10 gift card for being over $75, and a $5 gift card for the vitamins I bought…I then gave him my coupons and my total dropped to $40 (and some change). I really think it depends on the store and what cashier you get! The screen was not prompted to give me a $10 card for spending over $75 but I called before I went to see how this promotion was workign and the woman I spoke to said, it was before coupons. I asked him about it, and without any hesitation the supervisor came over and entered his “special” numbers to give me the $10. I would call before you go and get the person’s name you talk to 🙂 That is my HIP tip of the night!
wow me and you were both lucky XD it also didnt ring up the $10 gift card and well they had a sheet which they scan for the $10 gift card and i also bought some glades and some of the windex $5.00 gift card deal with all the coupons i only payed $37 bucks out of pocket but got $35 in gift card this was also included with the elmo!! so i basically got everything that i picked out and including the elmo for $2.00 can you believe that!!!
I just went and bought a My Baby Alive, Baby’s New Teeth doll for my niece. It was $16.99 with a $5 gift card. When I went to check out, the gift card didn’t generate, they ended up just taking $5 off my order. This has happened to me before with these ‘unadvertised’ gift card deals. Stick to your guns, take a picture of the sign if you have to. You may not get the gift card, but you may get the $5 off right then which is even better! 🙂

Went around 2pm EST to my Target. It was a mad house! Got the last Elmo in store and at checkout was surprized when she handed me the 10 dollar gift card too!! I thought the sale wasn’t suppose to start until 5pm? Well all the toys were cleaned out by 2!

I was at my Target to get a price adjustment on my Elmo Rocks and they didn’t give me a $10. gift card. I just called the store and the lady said that there is no gift card with the Elmo rocks, its just on sale for $29.49. How can I get more info about getting the $10 gift card???
IT might be regional. If theres no signage then your store probably isnt participating.

They didn’t have a sign at my store either…I went ahead and bought because you can always return…I had the cashier wring it up first and it immediately prompted for the GC. I am in the metro ATL area (not sure how the regions work…so if it’s regional and you’re in my area, it should work)…even the cashier said she didn’t know about it!!!
there was no signage at the store i went to, but when i checked out it gave me a ten dollar gift card. Maybe you can return it and re buy it ???
If you use one of the scanners to check the price it should tell you if it will ring up with the promotion.

Woo Hoo! I didn’t have my coupons with me (I know, I know…bad me!) so I went ahead and purchased it because I can return it shortly and buy it WITH the coupon…I also went ahead and got the Glade items too and a couple of other items I needed. I spent $78.xx and got back $25 in gift cards ($10 for the Elmo, $5 for the Glade and $10 for the spend $75 deal)…so excited!

Before the gift cards…I had to go to customer service though to get the $10 for spending $75 because it didn’t come up. Apparently, from what I have read since I got home and posted this, it’s because I was eligible for 2 gift cards already with my purchase and that would’ve dropped me below the $75 mark. Customer service simply scanned a piece of paper and handed me the $10 GC.
I’m wondering if I should get my 25 year old boyfriend this. No joke, everytime we go to the store and he sees one of these, he has to push the button and watch elmo do what he does. Don’t ask why, I have no idea. 🙂

I just went and spent $60 and got a BUNCH of stuff including the Elmo. I had $50 in gift cards to help offset my order (which is how I got it down to $60). I ended up getting $30 back in gift cards and saved $172.84. I did AWESOME:)
I just got back from the store! There were none on the shelf and when I got a sales associate they told me there were none in the back and none would be on the truck before christmas. I was bummed, but figured it wasn’t meant to be. I continued with my shopping when I saw the sales associate running toward me with a big grin….he had found ONE LAST ELMO! My 2 1/2 Year old is going to love it!! You could tell the associate was just as happy as I was; it was a very nice moment!

Holy cow!!!! I have never packed the kids up in the van as fast as I did tonight!!!!! This is an awesome deal!!!! Along with the Elmo, the glade deals….and a few other presents that I also had coupons for…..I spent the past the $75 to also qualify for the $10 gift card…..I spent $83, save $108… And walked away with $25 worth of gift cards!!!! Successful day to me!

Thank you! DD really didn’t NEED another gift, but she loves Elmo and I couldn’t resist at this price. We got an elmo and 5 glade candles. Used $15 in gc and got $15gc in return. So we paid $13something after tax for Elmo and 5 candles! I love being able to spoil my kids at Christmas without breaking the bank 🙂
I just stated couponing in June and this is by far the best Christmas my kids are going to have so far and I’ve only spent a fraction of what I did last year.

I got the last Elmo, 3 pj’s (on sale 40% off – makes them $4.xx with the $3 Q), and a couple clearance tops, the last 2 lego gift cards, a singamajig (on sale for $5.79 plus 25% Q), and a Halo reach it was $22 (ouch) but its what my son wants really bad, used coupons for the pjs, tops, elmo and paid $48, got back $30 in GC!! My cashier made me wait til 5:02 she wanted to make sure the computer would generate the $10 GC, she was excited too! Woohoo!!!!

YES! I bought 2 of these earlier. I bought 1 with all my other stuff I was getting and then the other on a seperate trasaction so I could get it for my sister and she would know eactly how much it was, I used the $10 gift card for it and it worked… $13.15 with TAX.
This is off topic but does anybody have a problem with Walmart paying you for overage. My Walmart does not understand coupons at all!

My Walmart has no problem applying my overage to the rest of my order, but if I was trying to get cash back I don’t think they would be too thrilled……I would definitely cashier profile too. It definitely helps to get a young cashier that has just enough experience to do it right. Hope that helps!! 🙂

I was done with my son’s xmas shopping but couldn’t resist this! Needed a GPS as well so got the TomTom 1505 that was on sale. Ended up spending $92 for a GPS, Elmo, 3 sippy cups, 2 things of Gogurt, & 4 Elf cosmetics. Can’t beat that!
