HAPPY SHOPPING! 😀
Today I got a green leaf tag at cvs for $1- every 4 times you use your own bag you get a $1 back, yay! I went to 2 cvs stores today and got credit at both.
Thats interesting because on the back of my green tag it states “limit one use per day per household”. Just a heads up, it may only register as one use.
The tag beeps if you try to use it at the same store twice in a day, but it seems to work and register the additional use if you go to multiple stores.
My tag doesn’t beep, but it is a 1x per day thing. I think it used to work if you used it more than once per day, but now, if you do, it just doesn’t add to the total at the bottom of your receipt (at least in my case). I often find myself at CVS more than once per day (there is one by my office and by my house), and the cashiers typically scan it along with my CVS card.
Not saying you won’t ever get credit for multiple visits, just don’t wonder why it stops working!
The same for me, it register as used already.
The Green Bag tag limits seem to vary by area. Here in my area it’s one scan a day, no matter how many stores you visit. Where my mom lives she can scan hers at every store she visits and get credit.
Not familiar with the Green leaf tag. Is it something you need to purchase at the store? Do you use any bag?
Yes, you purchase it at the store. You can use any bag with it. After you get it scanned 4 times, you get $1 extra bucks. So worth it, pays for itself in no time. It costs $1.
I used clear packing tape to stick mine to the back my Extra Care card. That way I don’t forget it.
ok, so i bought 4 of the green bag tags, finding out recently that they all have the same number on them. My hubby and I both have an account so we each can use it once in the same day.
My CVS allows me to use the tag once per day on both mine and my husbands Extra Care Card.
me too! works wonders. The only part left of that card stuck to my CVS card is the upc scan. Thats all that is taped on. 2 cards in 1. 🙂
Last year around Earth Day they offered the green bag tags with a $1 ecb…so free:-) I hate plastic bags and only ever use cloth anyway plus I am at CVS once a week, so I love this money maker!!!
@Collin, the Cottonelle coupon also requires you to buy TP 😉
Oops! I’ll go fix that now…thanks!
Hey Collin the coupon for cottenelle is available once again 🙂
I received $1/1 cottonelle wipes tub from the PG brandsaver when I requested thru their website. Not sure if anyone got these but I think it’s for the one on sale.
I thought that was for Charmin wipes??
Yeah sorry guys. I was wrong. 😮
@Collin,
The Cottonelle coupon also requires you to buy TP 😉
Thnxxs for the Match ups Collin =)
i dnt understand the deal, it says plus use the $1/1 coupon? wouldnt the (2) $2/2 coupon attach to the 4?
Spend $10 on Participating Johnson & Johnson First Aid Products = $5 Ecb (limit 1)

Oops! You’re right! Thanks, I’ll fix that now!
The magic coupon machine is spitting out coupons for $2 Starburst jelly beans which will make them total $1 per bag after both coupons.
My CVS was clearancing out batteries for some reason – 16 AAA Energizer for only $3.25!
Could be they are changing the packaging design?
CVS actually stopped carrying energizer batteries a few years ago and all the stores were instructed to just sell through whatever inventories they had left. A lot of mgrs are sick of having them laying around and are now marking them down, just double check that they are still before their expiration dates. 🙂
Check the rebate for Energizer 10 gc of I tune when you buy $30
Is CVS not doing the $10 GC when you buy $30 worth of products any more?
no, they are changing it up. Next week (4/1) will be 2 Free boxes of GM cereal wyb $30 worth of listed items.
I have a question regarding the M&M’s. Since they are buy one get one free, can I still use my CVS coupon for $1 off 2 bags of Seasonal M&Ms plus the Manufacturer’s coupon for $1.50 off any 2 Mars Seasonal Products? I’m always nervous about trying to use coupons when there is a buy one get one free deal.
And, as always, thanks, Collin, for posting all of these deals!! I look forward to seeing them every Saturday! 🙂
Yes you can if it includes the seasonal M&M’s. I have that coupon, but dont have the ad infront of me to see if it includes them. But if it does you are good to go with using the manufacture and the cvs coupon together!! 🙂
I am planning on using both of the coupons you mentioned. Should work with no problems. Worst case, it’ll beep. 🙂
YES! The machine kept spitting that coupon out for me every time I scanned my card this week!
Great, thanks everyone!!
I used this deal yesterday. It definitely works..manufacturer coupon and cvs coup!!
There is a $2 off ANY Salma Hayek Nuance product CVS coupon from the RIB. I also found shampoo, conditioner samples packs with a $2 CVS coupon attached! Looks like an awesome deal if you have a $4/20!
My deal on this: Buy 3 @ 6.99= $20.97 minus $4/20 = $16.97 minus 3 $2 CVS Q’s $6 = 10.97 pay with my $10 from the MP3 deal = .97 for all 3!!
Thanks for letting me know! I’ll add that in 🙂
Collin,
I don’t understand the Glade match-up….
Spend $20 on any Glade product = $10 Ecb (limit 1)
Deal Scenario (based on online price):
Buy 2 Sense & Spray Starter Kits $9.99
Total = $19.98
Use 3 $3.50/1 coupons found here or the $3/1 coupon found here
Pay as low as $12.98
Get back $10 Ecb
Final cost $1.49 each!
Why would you use 3 coupons if you are only buying 2 products??
Thanks for the help and all you do! Love your site!
I saw that too, but that numbers she posted worked out to using 2 Qs, not 3. Just a mistype I’m sure.
It is a typo. The math is right, it just says 3 coupons instead of two.
I just did the math and saw it too.
Thanks ladies!
LOL…sorry! It’s been a long weekend! It’s supposed to be only 2 but the math is still the same.
It happens, blame it on mommy brain….Lord knows I do! Thanks for all you do and enjoy the rest of your weekend!
I think your wording needs to be OR not PLUS On this matchup
Spend $10 on Participating Johnson & Johnson First Aid Products = $5 Ecb (limit 1)
Deal Scenario:
Buy 4 Band-Aid Bandages Comfort-Flex Sheer $2.99 (based on online price)
Total = $11.96
Use 2 $2/2 Band-Aid coupons found here
Plus, use the $1/1 coupon found here
Pay $7.96
Get back $5 Ecb
Final cost $0.74 per box!
You’re right…I updated the post 🙂
I finally found the beauty mag at my cvs BUT there cost.99 each???
Yes, they cost 99¢ every time. Some stores have loose coupon sheets with RIB coupons that don’t cost anything.
Where in the store did can I find the beauty mag?
Oops, Where in the store can I find the beauty mag?
ALSO COLLIN, I’ve been meaning to say something for a while… I’m sure there’s not a TON of guys that use your site, BUT I’m one that’s on here all the time, and there’s got to be others. You should make an option for a male pic next to the comments, because I swear, I look nothing like that. Just sayin’ XD
Where the laugh button? Love your name, I named my son Jake!
My son is Jacob also
LOL…I’ll have to see about that! 😀
lol
Sadly, until you left this comment I never noticed they were all “female” person pictures and wow they all have long hair. I dont. Good point. 🙂 🙂 🙂
Jake, you can always get a Gravatar! the link is right above the reply box!
Jake I use this website daily and know where you’re coming from.
Ditto the laugh button. Glad you are here with us Jake.
Thank you so much Collin for the matchups each week! They save this busy mommy a lot of time and money 🙂
You’re welcome!
Anyone have a link for the colgate rebate?
If it is the one I am thinking of, there is no link. It was a regional rebate and came in the newspaper inserts. I called on it and was told I could only submit for it if I had the form from the insert. HTH!
The Colgate rebate is over anyway. 🙂 It was only through 3-15 I think.
Curious about the Colgate 360 Optic White toothbrush. I can’t tell if it is one of the ones in the picture. You have to have the optic white kind to be able to get it free with the Q. Hope it works.
Collin,
If you read the wording below the picture on the Mars coupon the Snickers eggs and Milky Way bunnies aren’t included in the wording. It only lists Minis and those are the little candy bars sold in bags. Both versions of the Mars coupon have a list of eligible products. The wording does say “any” at the top but the product list below seems to contradict that.
You are right, AG.
However, if you have ALL You MAGAZINE, the April issue, there is a $1.50 off any 2 Mars Seasonal products, with no restrictions.
I also got several 0.25 off 2 Snickers Eggs / Milky Way Bunnies from the CVS machine this week.
I’m thinking I can buy 4, use the $1.50 off 2 and 2 x 0.25/2, pay 0 and get 2 ECB. Am I right?
I had a problem with this last week at Walgreens. You appear to be right. 🙁
If you bought the P&G eStore: Tampax & Always Radiant Collection from https://hip2save.com/2012/03/15/pg-estore-tampax-always-radiant-collection-7-99-shipped-includes-15-worth-of-coupons/
there was a $2.00 off coupon for Tampax Radiant
Use the $2/1 Tampax Radiant coupon
Pay $1.99
Get back $1 Ecb
Final cost $.99!
This is great, thank-you!
I used all my coupons for the Milky Way deal, but with the $1 back in extrabucks, I am happy to break even, I love that it is not a real Milky Way but just straight caramel! I have many of them thanks to the coupons I get in my neighborhood and the deal at Walgreen’s this week, speaking of which All You Magazine had a Mars $1.50 coupon that I used with the Target one of the same!
thanks,
http://www.gaynycdad.com
The jelly beans on the cvs site for the weekly ad are showing a limit of 2
but on this site it shows limit 1, same with the mars easter egg 2/$1 shows a limit of 1 on the cvs site weekly ad and here it shows limit is 2 is this because its regional so they are different?
Yes, it varies by area. 🙂
Trying to figure out how many M&M bags need to be bought when using just the $1.50/2 coupon along with the Buy1Get1 free deal? Can the $1.50/2 coupon be used with the Buy1Get1 so i’ll end up with 2 bags or will I have to end up with 4 bags since two are free?
you should be able to use the $1.50 off of 2 of them. at cvs you can do a b1g1 sale and a b1g1 coupon to get both free so im thinking this would be the same kind of deal 🙂 i am planning on doing it with just the 2 bags 🙂
Magic machine has been spitting out $.25 off 2 snickers or milky way eggs and bunnies. Use that with the 2/&1.00 get $1.00 cb deal.
Does anyone know if we can use the .75 cent off diet pepsi coupon from 3/18 SS or RP? Sorry I forgot exactly which one it was from? Wouldn’t that make the Diet pepsi almost free if you can use two of these?
The .75/1 I have is for the 12-pks… wouldn’t make them almost free, but $2 each instead if you use 4 coupons. But if you’re talking about the 2ltrs, that would be the .55/1 coupon. I’m not sure how much the 2 ltrs cost, but yes, that would make them pretty cheap using 2 coupons for $1.10 off
Thanks! Sorry it is for .55/1 2 liter. And $2 for the 12 packs is a good deal! You’re right!
The Arm & Hammer Crystal Burst Power Paks are Bye 1/1 Free. Look for the peelie coupon on the package “Try One Free” Rebate. Two free bags after rebate.
Wow, thank you for pointing at this! I saw the peelies the other day at my local supermarket and its not only for the “toss one” but it states that any “Power paks single use power detergent 16 ct or larger” are included, up to $9.99, I was waiting to see a B1G1 deal and here it is, thanks again! 🙂
Rats! I bought this at WalMart last week and sent in for the rebate. I should have waited and I could have gotten two for free!
I doubt CVS will print you 2 receipts, so you’d have to buy 4 of the power paks. You’d also have to have 2 different addresses to receive 2 rebates. Am I wrong??
Pamela, you get 2 free because when you buy them you pay for only one, but get two. Then submit one receipt and get your money back.
Nevertheless, I went this morning and I dont think it was worth it. My 2 stores carry only 16 pack, but my supermarket carries a 60 ct for $10.75 regular price. So I get more bang for my buck if I buy the 60ct and get $9.99 back that if I pay at CVS almost $7 for 2 bags of 16ct each.
Yes, I totally didn’t think that one through…hahaha…thanks:-)
@Collin I was thinking for th e grocery deal that one could just get all pasta sauce, and it would be cheaper, of course most CVSs don’t havs that many. Though I think I may just get peanut butter instead of mayo since its something I need more and is still cheaper
The coupons.com savings club has a $1/2 Hellmanns coupon to make that deal a little sweeter.
I’m having trouble finding the $10 Loreal rebate on the CVS website? Please help:)
Try here: https://www.lorealparisusa.com/_us/_en/default.aspx#/?page=top{userdata//d+d//|diagnostic|main:mylorealoffers|media:_blank|nav|overlay:_blank}
Then click on special offers.
Buy 3 Charmin Tissue 16 rolls $10, and get 10 seems a good deal if you need some bath tissue, right?
Yes. They are double rolls so it works out to about $.20 each single roll which is good. If you have any P&G coupons you can bring it down a little more.
In my local CVS, it is actually 20 rolls.
I did that deal today…3 packages of Charmin Ultra Soft is 48 double rolls (equals 96 regular rolls), $30, get $10, plus used a $1/1 PG coupon & a $1/2 coupon found in Puffs tissues packs, paid approx $28, got ten back, so $18 for 96 reg rolls of toilet paper comes down to about 19 cents per roll!!! I was super excited because #1 that’s an awesome price for toilet paper and #2 we were down to our last 2 rolls!
There is no link on the Schick $3.00 coupon?
so went to CVS before the sale ends and The magic Coupon Machine was giving $2 off any Biore Cleanser, YAY plus some had $1 peelies on them =) making my trip a success. bought Biore clenaser and Pore Peels, 1 Mitchum Deodorant, 3 G2B hair products, and a Box of Wipes =D, Used CVS $2 biore Q and Free cleanser Q, $1 Mitchum CVS Q and $1 SS Q, $3 G2B Q, 30% off, (took 7.16) $5 ECB, Total OOP $5.23 and got $5 ECB, $.23 for all after coupons =D
I cannot find the Physicians Formula coupon in my 2/12 RP is it regional? I get the Chicago Tribune and the Janesville Gazette (local paper) would love some help. Thank you
I found mine in 2/12 SS.
i just found it there too! but it says its for a cosmetic item and this deal is for a skin care item. idk seems like trying to use a coupon for something it’s not meant for….
Anyone have any extra physicians formula or bertolli coupons they would like to send my way? Thanks!
On the Glade deal scenario, do you not have to spend $20 to get the ECB? The total shows $19.98. Does CVS round up if it is within a few cents? Just wondering what the rule is.
yup, they round it yup if it’s just a few cents short.
i think its if your total is 97% of what you need 🙂
you all use the $3 of $15 coupon from facebook to combine with the glade coupon.
you can use three different emails per facebook account to get the $3.00 off $15.00 or more purchase.
make sure you use AOL or Yahoo Account to sign up for the facebook offer. It comes to your email within seconds of submitting your story.
It must be a regional thing with the physicians formula coupon. I have looked over my insert numerous times thinking I was just missing it and came to conclusion its regional.
It is 2/12 SS Yay! It’s in my Tribune! Good Luck
Although it says cosmetics
Just FYI, the $1/2 Q referred to here is for 7.94 oz or larger size:
Mars Easter egg or bunny single 1.1 oz 2/$1 = $1 Ecb (limit 2)
Use the $1/2 coupon found in the 3/18 RP
Pay $0
Get back $1 Ecb
Final cost FREE + $1 money maker!
(at least that what it says on the coupons I have)
Are you sure you are looking at the coupon from 3/18? Both of my sets (Michigan and Florida) do not have size restrictions.
I think the person is looking at the wrong coupon. The green background one has a size restriction. The white background coupon does not. They’re from 2 different inserts. Both $1/2 in value.
My CA coupons have no size restriction, but they do beep for me at Rite Aid.
Anyone in california try to band aid deal? I looked and the cheapest band aids i could find were 3.69! Wondering if i was looking at the wrong kind!
Also Question on rebates…
I’ve never dont any MIR before and im pretty sure i have enough to qualify. could someone tell me where the info for the colgate & PG spend 50$ rebates are?
THANK YOU
Ya I did the band aid deal this morning. The cheapest I found were 3.79 for 40. So I bought 4 boxes and used the $2/2 coupon. I also had $4 ebc left over, so it was around 7 dollars before tax. Then got $5 ecb back. So that wasn’t so bad.
thank you! I jut wanted to make sure I wasn’t going blind or something 🙂
Did any one find physicians formula for 11.99? Everything appeared to be priced around $20 at my store. Thanks!
Same here. I live in California. I did not find any cleanser and all the product I found were priced $20+.
I couldn’t find any skincare items, only make-up, the ad says it’s a new item. Couldn’t find it with the mak-up or skincare isle. Anyone else know where they keep it in the store?
Does anyone know if Dr. Pepper is included in the 4/$11 12 pack sale? Been really craving it, and this makes it worth purchasing if included…Thanks!!
Anyone wondering on the arm and hammer toothpaste our store had them priced between 4.29$-5.79$ Plus B1G1 and the 1.00 off coupon made for a sweet deal! Also a peelie on the boxes for a mail in rebate 🙂 Not all boxes but some!
was the physicians formula coupon regional? i can’t find it in my 2/12 rp insert…
Found cvs brand 72ct wipes in the soft plastic blue package on clearance for .74. They were with the regular priced wipes and marked $2.99 but I scanned them and sure enough they were .74. The magic coupon machine was spitting out coupons for wipes last week but I only found 1 at the store I was at. Still .74 is a great buy. Picked up 3 packs.
I also found clearance reinventing beauty products on clearance. The RIB insert I had has $2/2 RIB items. The hand soap was marked $2.29 but scanned $1.04 and they had lip balms for .82. Careful on the lip balms as they rang up regular price but were clearly marked in the bin for .82. I bought 4 soaps and 4 lip balms for $0.00!! The cashier price adjusted the RIB coupons to 1.86 and no tax was charged. It’s weird but one CVS I shop at does not charge me any tax on 0.00 but another one 5 miles away does.
Does anyone know if we are allowed to split our purchase into two transaction? All I wanted to do was use the extra bucks of one transaction to pay for the second and the cashier was so rude about it. I felt like I had broken a GOLDEN RULE! Was it wrong for me to have done that?
No, it’s ok to do that. I usually put my items in the car and come back to do another transaction OR if there is a line I go to the back of the line between transactions. As long as you aren’t holding up other customers it’s perfectly acceptable. 🙂
nowdays I feel like they are treating couponers like a criminal. They love the the person who pays the full money and/or someone is not using coupon. I kind of don’t like cvs anymore.
Cvs has some of the friendliest cashiers, compared to other drug stores. If you have the option, try another location!
I don’t never had a problem with my cashiers @ cvs or managers. They even asked me to send all my cuponers friends. He the manager even asked to help on letting him know what he needs to order ahead of time to have plenty for everybody. And I do tell everybody u can split transsaccions but, don’t hold the line. And wipes 48 count there clearance .99 cents this ones are in blue plastic bag cloth like wipes by or next to depends! Also. Beauty of essence bar soaps .62 cents. So, don’t get discouraged by one cashier also, cvs cupon machine giving out cpns 3 off dove chocolate candy when u buy one revlon nail polish pair it with manuf cpns!
@Collin – I tried to do the Physician’s Formula makeup deal today but ours is ringing up at 40% off instead of $10 ECB… I checked the sale flyer by the door and it is listed as 40% off, not the ECB deal… is this perhaps regional, or is the matchup incorrect? Anyone else have this problem?
Thanks for ALL you do!!
That was the case at my CVS, too. (Minnesota)
Ohhh, now I see… it’s skincare, not makeup. That’s just sneaky! 🙂
I’m hoping someone can help clarify this for me. I went to CVS last night to get in on last weeks stroller deal (my store actually had some left!) but ended up going home without one. My total (with tax) came to $30.25. The $5 Biore ECB printed out but nothing for the stroller. The cashier said it was because my total after coupons was below $30…I have never had a problem with this and asked to speak to the supervisor and she said the same thing….did anyone else run into this problem??? The supervisor told me to hold onto my receipt and come back on Tuesday to speak to the store manager who *might* be able to override it and give me the stroller.
I did the following transaction…
1 Huggies Wipe $3.00
1 Huggies Little Movers $9.50
2 Huggies Slip-On $19.00
3 Got2Be Stylers $11.97
1 Biore Cleanser $7.99
1 Biore Strip $8.29
Total $56.75
Then I used the following coupons..
1.50/1 Any Huggies
2.00/1 Huggies Slip-On x2
3.00/1 Got2Be x3
Buy 1 Biore Strip, Get Cleanser Free -$7.99
Plus I used 10 ECB
I didnt do it but it someone told me the card wasnt tracking your purchases towards that. (a mistake) and you had to take the stroller along with your purchase and it would deduct the 17.99. But, you should email cvs, they are always so friendly to me. Good luck!
i did it and they should have rang up the stroller with ur purchase then it automatically deducts. it doesnt print out like an ECB. if things dont work out tomorrow, best bet is too email CVS Company.
I did this deal last year and FYI the stroller is complete junk! I ended up donating mine.
My cashier and manager just gave me the stroller since my total was correct and they didn’t know what to do. I’m pretty happy with the quality actually. It’s obviously for lighter duty, but it sure beats hauling out my huge heavy one for quick walks or store trips.
I went in yesterday to speak to the store manager and he just handed me a stroller. Yay! I was afraid I was going to run into a problem after dealing the the cashier and super about the coupons. I don’t think the cashiers/supervisors at my store really knew what to do either. I don’t think CVS did a very good job at explaining how the free stroller deal really worked.
I believe the physicians is not the makeup or cosmetics. These are marked some 40% off and the product to get the $10 bucks is the physicians formula skincare my local cvs didn’t even have it. Its a new product. They may get it tuesday when their truck comes in and samantha u should had gotten the stroller did u bring it to the cashier along with ur purchase it should had scan free if u did.
no, I didn’t see any and didn’t even really think to look for one…last year when they ran this promotion they kept the strollers behind the counter so I assumed that’s where they were this time around.
I just wanted to thank you for all your hard work Collin (and helpers). I have used Hip2Save for a year now and it’s my favorite by far. At first I was a crazy couponer thinking I had to rush out to 10 different stores and get every deal. Now it’s nice to calmly pick what deals work for me and what my stockpile it low on, or what items I really need no matter what (TP). I don’t know how you have time to actually shop with all the work you do. Keep up the good work. You saved our family so much money and it came in handy when we took in 4 relatives for several months.
Good morning everyone. Those who have sent in their P&G mail in rebate – did you send in the entire receipt or did you cut off the bottom portion where cvs tells you the amount you’ve saved, purchased, etc? Is it okay for me to scribble out my cvs card # too (it only gives the last 4 digits but still.. I think it’s weird to leave it on)? Does it matter? I just want to be able to provide what is necessary for the MIR. Thank you.
Does any1 know where I can get the softsoap $1 coupon my newspapers didn’t have the smart source insert:(
I had smartsource and redplum in my paper but did not find softsoap or speed stick!
in the SS insert
Some CVS has problems with printing ECB’s so keep an eye!
