   I got my free cinnamon roll yesterday. Evidently I was the first one to ask at the one in Tulsa, Ok. I just had to write down my name and my nursing license number. 🙂

   It seems to me that the teachers who have left the comments wishing they were able to get the “freebies” are missing the point. We all work hard at what we do and I being a nurse am very glad to have a day/week that honors my work. I wish that the comments left were those honoring the nurse’s in your life or those who have touched you in a positive way. Instead of wanting something for yourself. You can have my cinnabon if that makes you feel special.

  The only reason we said anything was that it is not only Nurses Week this week BUT also TEACHER APPRECIATION WEEK this week. I was only joking but you would probably say they same as a nurse that you did not get anything and the teachers got all the freebies if it was reversed. We BOTH deserve credit as does EVERYONE with any type of job! And if you have nothing nice to say about peoples innocent comments maybe you should not say anything at all as your post was extremely rude especially since it is BOTH of our weeks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
