Amazon: FREE $2 MP3 Credit (New Code!) = Rock of Ages Soundtrack Only $0.99 + More

Hip2Save may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you via trusted partners and affiliate links in this post. Prices and availability are accurate as of time posted. Read our full disclosure policy here.

Yay! You can score yet another FREE $2 MP3 Credit from Amazon. Just head on over here and enter the code HEARTMP3 (by clicking on the “Enter Your Code” button) to score a FREE $2 credit (automatically added to your account) valid for any MP3 purchase in the Amazon MP3 store!

One way to make use of this code, if you are a fan of the movie Rock of Ages and/or liked the music, the Rock of Ages: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack is priced at only $2.99, so just $0.99 after the credit! I LOVE all of these songs… they make me wanna get up and dance! 🙂 Also, be sure to check out the Bestsellers in MP3 page for a list of popular songs under $1.29 each, which would make for a free song or two with this credit!

  3. Ashley57

Did anyone see when this expires?

    • Suzy

      11:59 pm PST on July 11, 2012.

      HTH.

      • Ashley57

        Thanks!

copy and paste didn’t work for me but I typed in heartMP3 and it worked

    • Kara

Same problem for me. I think a basic copy/paste somehow includes the formatting data or other junk data that interferes with the code being accepted. Try either typing it by hand or pasting as plain text.

    • Gayla

Typing all lowercase letters worked for me such as heartmp3.

  5. nilu

    thanks..love these!! expires July 11

  8. kayla

can you enter the code now and come back before the 11th to use it or do you need to use it right after you enter the code?

    • Suzy

You can use it anytime before it expires.

      • kayla

        thanks 🙂

  9. lacie

    Didnt work for me

    • K Crew

I typed it how Collin had it (in all caps) and it didn’t work for me either. I then typed heartMP3 and it worked!

Great! My daughter was just bugging me to get a song and I’m too cheap to pay for it.

  11. Jamie

  14. Robin Greene

    It worked!

Are you sure it expires on the 11th?

The page that this links to is for the Amazon Local MP3 redemption. The rules state that the amazon local code can’t be combined with this code, which means that this isn’t an amazon local code, so the expiration date stated there doesn’t necessarily apply.

I am very confused, hope someone can help. 3 days ago Collin posted an Amazon $3 MP3 credit, which I had, I even checked my account yesterday to see how long I had to use it, which was until the 11th. Well, it has disappeared out of my account and now all I have is this $2 credit. What happened, did I lose my $3 credit when I put in this new code or did the $3 credit really expire another day or is it hiding somewhere that I can’t find on Amazon? I thought since I had not used my $3 credit yet that this $2 would have added to it making it $5.

Try typing in the promo code for the $3 credit again. I used it today…bought a 9.99 album and it took off $5

      • cdawnt

Yay, got it! Thanks Van, that worked so I have $5 credit. 🙂

      • lalluji

what is the promo code for $3 credit ?

        • Van

everyone has there own unique code

          • cdawnt

I don’t understand what happened, I thought everything was fine. I had $5.00 in MP3 credits, purchased a $4.99 album this morning. Just now I received an email (hours and hours later) saying I was charged $1.99! So they didn’t use my entire credit, does anyone know why that happened? Before I ordered the album Amazon said I had $5.00 credit in my account to use. How do I contact Amazon? I can’t find anything on their site about how to talk to a live person.

If you click on the “head over here” link above, it lists these rules for the $3 Amazon Local code… #3 says it can’t be combined with the other code.

              1. Click the button below, enter your AmazonLocal voucher code, and click the “Apply” button.
              2. Once you receive confirmation that your code has been successfully entered, a $3 MP3 credit good toward any song or album in the MP3 store will be automatically applied to your Amazon account and your MP3 promotional balance will increase by $3. If you receive an error entering your code, be sure to check that you’ve entered the code correctly and be sure that the promotion is still valid and has not expired. If you still receive an error, contact Customer Service via Amazon MP3 Support.
              3. Find the song or album you want and buy it with 1-Click. The visible price of your selected MP3 song or album will not change but the $3.00 credit will be automatically applied to your order. This credit cannot be combined with the “HEARTMP3” promotional credit.
              4. After your purchase, you can confirm that your code was applied by either viewing your order details on the purchase confirmation page or checking your order confirmation, which will be sent to you by e-mail.
              5. Amazon MP3 music is available to customers located and with billing addresses in the United States. You must have an Amazon.com account and accept the Amazon MP3 Service Terms of Use to redeem the code. Limit one per customer.
              6. You must redeem your credit by 11:59 pm PST on July 11, 2012.
              7. Additional Terms and Conditions apply.

            • cdawnt

I guess it can’t be combined.

            • CDawnT
