Target: 90% Off Seasonal Clearance Finds = Scotch Scissors $0.50, Battery Powered Toothbrushes $0.49, Nerf Guns $0.49, & Much More
OK, so I am doing yet another post on the Target seasonal clearance. These deals are just too good not to give you all a heads up on. Plus, these items are likely not displayed with all the holiday clearance, but in the sections they’d regularly be in. This means that you have a better shot at snagging them since they are basically hidden clearance bargains. Lots of these items aren’t even marked on clearance at all which makes price checking very important.

Those Scotch scissors are THE best. I stocked up last year and I love them. I would probably pay full price for them, they are that good! Still 70% at my Targets…….sigh
Those Scotch scissors are super awesome! Those are the only ones that I use! When I went to get them there were a lot of different UPC codes mixed together. Only the UPC code 051141938844 was $.50. Soooo happy to have found them!!
I was just at target and the Star Wars tooth brushes were not on sale. Scanned them too.
The toothbrushes that are on clearance will have a sticker over the upc code.
The christmas ones had a upc sticker over the original upc. If it didn’t have a sticker on it they were regular price. 🙁

The Smith and Hawken Amaryllis bulbs with a nice pot are $1.49. Both stores I was at had them in their original home and completely unmarked. Great way to brighten up my home for spring!
can you find this stuff online? my nearest target is 45 minutes away and i could most definitely use some of these deals!
Don’t forget about wrapping paper. I found several big rolls that rang up at only $.25!

The pink spinbrush wasn’t on clearance for me. The star wars toothbrushes were funny, some of them were and some weren’t. They were identical, but the clearance ones had a upc sticker over the original upc.
I was at my target today in Greensburg, pa and the christmas decorations are still 70% and all the stuff I searched the aisles for that were holidays items still came up regular price, even the christmas tree cakes and holiday mac n cheese. I was very disappointed. You have been finding some awesome finds. That’s great : )
I too live in western pa (cranberry twp) I was at three different Targets today and none of them had anything that the others are finding on great clearance. I was not able to find anything below 15%. I think that this must be in other states.
Philadelphia Targets are @90% Off. Very slim pickings here; just the broken stuff and the bieber wrapping paper….

My question is, how do I know they’re on clearance if they’re not marked? Do I just have to shop as usual and scan every item and hope they’re on sale?
Scan them at the price checks throughout the store 😉
The short version, unfortunately, is yes.
Generally you can guess what might be on sale. If it seems Christmas or winter themed AT ALL it may be on clearance. Think holiday print Bounty paper towels, Kleenex boxes or Ziploc bags…winter versions of Oreos…holiday flavored coffee. You may also see things in regular aisles that were once on a Christmas display or a special endcap. (Those cupcake rattles were in the stocking stuffer section at my store before Christmas.) You may also notice things that your store doesn’t normally carry (it’s rare to see the toothbrush/toothpaste combo outside of the travel section). Another example would be the men’s boxers that come in the cute containers. They’re usually on a shelf together in the men’s section and not necessary signed or packaged as Christmas, but it’s not something you would normally see there. You may also extrapolate “The My Way Spinbrushes are on sale, maybe I’ll scan the other power toothbrushes…” Of course, these posts on Hip2Save (and other forums/blogs) help a lot as it gives you an idea of what to look for.
I once found some Valentine’s Day shirts at Walmart that were still mixed in with the other folded shirts but were clearanced down to $1. A couple were clearly for the holiday but most were just cute red or pink shirts that said things like “I love Daddy”. The key for me was seeing one holiday one and noticing it had a red size/price sticker instead of white. I then gathered up a bunch of the red stickered ones and scanned them…perfect play clothes for daycare!
My local Target stores seem to be pretty good at handling clearance. 🙁 Most of the stuff from around the store was gathered up and put in the Christmas clearance section – including the sparkly headbands/clutches, the wintery socks and the sticker spin brushes. The other items, like the special toothbrush packs, the bubble bath gift sets and the holiday coffee flavors, are put on the endcaps in their area and clearly signed/stickered as clearance. They generally don’t follow the holiday mark down schedule and linger at 15%-30% for a long time.
I’m going to check Target in the morning. I doubt if the one here has any of that stuff 🙁
I got a cheese set (4set of knives) in stainless steel with antlers for $1.49!!! reg. 14.99!!!!
so happy scored a $260 7.5ft prelit xmas tree 90% off so it was like $27 and only one left in store waiting on me:)
All these Target posts make me so sad!! My nearest Target started renovating right after Christmas so ALL their clearance was pushed the front of the store and was gone at 50% off. My other Target stores had nothing good left – we have a few coupon bloggers in my area so deals like this are always gone FAST while we can see their massive stockpile of toys that they were able to snag on their blogs that they were able to get and are no longer available. :/

I found the Rachl ray brown n bubble pans for 4.99! They were not marked on sale so I scanned them and they came up 4.99 originally 49.99… Great find!
Don’t forget the Hot Cocoa Goldfish – my stores hadn’t went down yet as of yesterday but those were unmarked in an aisle and scanned at 50% a couple days ago…

I found the cupcake rattle toy .48, Chuck Cars/Trucks .39, Colgate Transformer Packs, Spin Brushes .29, Dunkin Donuts Gingerbread Coffee, Betty Crocker Gingerbread Cookie Mix, Pop up Scotch Tape refill packs .20, cupcake liners .29, Lindt Candy Bars, Mint M & M pkg .89, Coffee Mate Creamer Liquid in Pumkin Spice 1.38 Scissors I got when they were 1.50 and had q from the Target Notebooks along with the Oreo Cookies at 50%, Pita Chips at 70%. Used coupons on things I could to make the deals even sweeter. Thanks for the pics, it helps in finding what you are looking for. Wrapping paper was gone at the two stores I went to yesterday and today but I did get some at 70% off for 1.50 for the premium- won’t go for the cheap stuff, tears to easy.
It would help if folk mentioned which Target(s), geographically, they’re talking about. Tarri – where were you able to find all that great stuff at this late date? (I stocked up on the Pop-Up Scotch Tape refills last year, but didn’t see any at all in my area Target stores this year.) As I mentioned in my previous posts, the Target in Cary, NC doesn’t have a Seasonal Dept. at this point (everything’s gone), and the one in Morrisville, NC was 99% out of everything yesterday.

Try checking online first. I know the price isn’t the same but it tells you what store has them in stock..

Does anyone have an idea when or if the Neimann Marcus collection things will go 90% off too?
i have heard from target, that they will not. they are being disposed off instead of going 90…but not sure if it is true
i read the same thing somewhere but like the poster wa hoping some will come down more… but keep in mind, these same collaboration items are also being sold at neiman marcus so they may not go much lower. it would definitely be a pleasant surprise if it does

My Target has them at 70% off now. All the other Christmas items were 90% (and not good choices left).
Went to target…. Lots Clearance but only up to 30% daughter bought rattle for $2.49 not .49. Was hoping to find such great clearance but no luck again.

I scanned EVERYTHING that I have heard about online…toothbrushes, chuck cars, men’s boxers, pj sets w/ the silver tag and nothing was more than 50% off. : (

Everything at the Layton Utah Target was either out or not scanning on sale. The only positive thing I got last week was 12 Diginio’s and 6 boxes of the 12 count Dryers fruit bars (I know the ad said 6 ct but the 12 worked here) all for $32 after the 4 free pizzas came off at $7.01. And I got 12 place Home brand place mats for .25 each after the Target $3 coupons (I have several computers too print from)! Nice trip, but I wish I could have found the RR set.
I hear the Targets in Ogden are all cleaned out, too. They need to build more Targets, especially one in Vernal where I moved 2 years ago and am dying from coupon/deals withdrawls.
I was able to get the Transformers 2pk spin brush plus toothpaste for .29! Yay! Now I can have an extra toothbrush at grandmas for my boys and donate a couple!

I live in central PA and went this morning. Not that much 90% clearance left….. but a large selection of regular clearance. I could not locate any deals on the toys listed or the Rachael Ray stuff but did score a pair of scissors and some toothbrushes. I am very pleased.
Just a heads up: At my last Target stop ( in Mission, KS) I found a 10 piece Ultimate Car Lover’s gift pack in the automotive section marked down 70%. Regular price $35 marked down to $10.50. Great value. Selling for $42.50 on Amazon. I found the Pure gear Ipad covers for $2.99 and I am still looking for the ipad microphone is anyone has information on it.

Even though the packaging is the same, there are specific SKUs that are ringing up at the 90%. I just spent WAY TOO MUCH time scanning and looking carefully. LOL The SKU for the Scotch Precision scissors is 51141 93884; pink My Way Spinbrush (141 stickers) is 66878 00619; Gum Star Wars spin brush is 70942 12646. Hope that helps!

I went to not my normal Target but the one off Rock Road in STL and found the cupcake rattle (there were 5 after I took 1) $0.48, gingerbread pita chips $0.29, and there was surprisingly a somewhat good selection of Xmas bags left. I scooped up 8 bags, and some curling ribbon all 90% off.
I went to the Target in Florissant, North Lindbergh today. Found one pair of boxers marked at .59, a pair of girl holiday glitter shoes, 1.79, and about 8 little coin purses, cell phone holders, jewlery holder, ranging from .69-.99 cents. I bought them all to save for gifts throughout the year. I also found two pairs of flannel shorts, .99 each and three lip glosses for .19 cents!! I scanned toothbrushes but no luck. But thanks to the person above for the SKU numbers, I will be trying later.
I found lost of dishes, bakeware, coffee cups, and much more on sale starting from .90 to 3.48.. I sure did stock up :)…..
I am in Olympia, WA. We have two Targets. One of them had about 40 of those plastic table cloths in gold about two or three days ago plus a bunch of other stuff. I am planning a 50th golden anniversary party for my in-laws so I have been picking up gold decorations for cheap. I figured those tablecloths didn’t seem popular so I decided to wait until they went to 90% off. They went to 90% yesterday and by the time I got there in the afternoon there was almost nothing left and no tablecloths. Ugh! I was so amazed at how wiped out they were that I I asked a supervisor if they had boxed stuff up and he said that people had just cleaned them out that morning. Oh well, I did get tons of other great deals.
I was able to get the Rachel Ray set at one Target yesterday for $4.99. Christmas nightlights for $0.99 (reg. 9.99) in the light bulb section unmarked. A Threshold tablecloth in with the regular tablecloths not marked, but scanned for around $4 (not 90% off, but a great deal). I got a candy dispenser for $1.99 (reg 19.99). PJ sets in the men’s section for $1.99 (reg 19.99), boxers for $0.89, and a baby onesie (it says Santa Rocks) set with hat for $0.70 in the baby clothes section. I also found headphones in the accessories section for $1.49 and holiday jewelry for $0.79 in the jewelry section. Also, slipper socks, fuzzy slippers, and tights in the girls’ clothes section for $0.40 each.
It was a little annoying because they had a bunch of stuff with the 90% off stuff that was hard marked with clearance tags and were not scanning at 90% off. I thought about forcing the issue, but there always seems to be an impatient person behind me in line lately so I get anxious. 🙂
I also found several items that were with the clearance but not ringing up. The cashier said it should all be 90 percent off and willing changed it.

What state do you live in? Did you scan a lot of the toothbrushes or did it just have a clearance sticker on them?
I live in Connecticut and I went this morning and bought 2 Cupcake Rattles .48 each, 6 Chuck Trucks .39 each and 1 pair of scissors. Red scissors were full price but teal were .50. Thanks for the tip!

my target in oakland county, MI had the cupcake rattles, chuck trucks and scissors (only teal ones though & i had 2 of the .50 Q’s!!:) – great deals!! 🙂 i couldn’t find the rachel ray set though. would it be in with the regular bakeware? i looked all over, but only saw one section of things that were rachel ray – pots & pan sets.
I wasn’t able to find any of these good deals in the Westchester or Midlothian (Richmond, VA) Targets….anyone know about the Hull St. or any other locations nearby?
Totally unexpected find…the individual sized chocolate Goldfish boxes rang up at .09, regularly .99!! I found these at the Target cafe. I happened to buy one for my daughter and both the cashier and I were shocked when it scanned for only .09!
