What is the advantage of Zevia? What is it sweetened with? Thanks for any info!
It’s sweetened with Stevia, a plant extract. It’s not supposed to have the chemical side-effects of artificial sweeteners.
I’ve tasted the Root Beer Zevia and it’s not very sweet. Took a little getting used to. But it makes a decent substitute if you really want a pop. And my friend who’s had the other flavors said some of those are really good.
Mountain Zevia (my fave) and Dr. Zevia rock, and most of the other flavors are good, too, IMHO. Unfortunately, I can never find these at Targets in my area, including the supposed “super” ones — only at more expensive Whole Foods. Thank goodness for the ability to stack store and manufacturer coupons at the latter.

I have to be honest. I got these on a good deal at City Market last week 99 cents/6 pack. I got three flavors and thought all of them were disgusting. They have a very fake sweetener flavor. Like a slurpee that melted. So before you get a bunch I would try one first, I had to throw them all out because no one would drink them.
