Keep in mind that these free samples cannot be personalized and will arrive exactly as they are shown online. With that being said, keep your eyes peeled for cards that are generic with no personalized names displayed on them, or look for cards with initials that match your own. Sounds good to me!

You can choose the multiples of the same card , they don’t have to be all different.

The website was extremely slow and gave me an error twice. I was able to get them finally after refreshing a few times and probably 15 minutes of processing time.

You’re welcome, Renee. I have a suggestion for when an offer does ask for a CC#. If you have any debit cards with little or no balance, use those. I’ve often read on here where readers used a debit card with no balance and their order went through (I’m referring to a “free” offer).

Whew. Got my 5 free cards, took a few min. guessing the site is getting hit hard. Thank u Collin, love to get free cards. Haven’t seen these free cards posted in awhile.
Michaels website if horrible, even when it’s not getting a lot of traffic. I don’t want to waste my time anymore. I tried four times to no avail.
I hate when you have to put in your credit card info for something free. I’ll pass. 🙁
You don’t have to enter any credit card info, when you click on the button it processes your order and shows the zero balance. Try again. It took a while but it finally went through for me.
I missed a step first time around and went back and entered the “code” and didn’t have to enter any payment source info. It asked for billing info at the bottom of the page..I clicked on that and it simply took me beyond having to enter a payment source. I entered mailing info later on. I got a confirmation showing “$0.00” due. It repeated my mailing address in the billing address confirmation info. But no billing source had to be used.
I got a confirmation number from the website but have not received a confirmaion e-mail.

Site says “Promo code no longer valid”.
I’ve received samples cards before (Tiny Prints?) and there were watermark company logos or the word “sample” on them so they were of no use. Not sure if this will be the case with Michaels.
When I had cards that said “sample” or “your company name here” on them, depending where it was on the card, I just covered it with a pretty Christmas sticker or design.
Yeah, I wouldn’t bother spending a ton of time on these as most will probably have something like “your company name here” inside the card.
It froze on me while I was processing checkout and now says the promo code is no longer valid. 🙁

It worked for me, website was slow and the email took a good while to come through…then about 20 minutes later it seems to no longer be working when my sis tried – “Promo code no longer valid.”
I tried 4 times to checkout. It lost it every time! I think the server got overwhelmed. Now the promo code is not valid

I get an error message saying the promo code is no longer valid…
I went in to order right after Collin posted. I got all the way to checkout and then the screen froze. I kept refreshing and finally managed to get my name and address entered. Then, everything froze up again. After many attempts to get past that stage, I gave up on it. I just checked my email, and apparently one of my attempts worked. So, if you got as far as I did, you may still get the offer. Also, I noticed I had to use 5FREE (meaning caps) and there is a box under that you need to check…something like you read the official rules.
