It’s traditional for kids to mail their Christmas wish list to Santa—but it’s less traditional for him to write back. However, through Amazing Santa Letters, he does just that, on stationery decorated with Christmas baubles, elves, and flying sleigh tableaux. Parents can suggest letter text in writing or via voicemail, but Santa can also compose his own jolly message.

(Thanks, Jennifer!)

Santa, my name is Jacob, and I’m 6 years old. I have been a really good boy, and extra good in school this year. My favorite gift I’m asking for is a WiiU. I would also like Mario games/toys, ninja turtle stuff, Batman, Spiderman or anything else you want to send. I’ll make sure to leave some extra cookies for you, and extra carrots for your reindeer: ) Thank you Santa!! See you soon!!!!

You can send your own letter for a North Pole postmark – will cost you the price of 2 stamps. Place your Santa letter in a stamped envelope addressed to your child then place that envelope into a larger envelope addressed to:
    North Pole Christmas Cancellation
    Postmaster
    5400 Mail Trail
    Fairbanks, AK 99709-9998
Must be received by 12/15. Several cities participate in the holiday re-mailing, including Bethlehem, PA; Garland, UT; Nazareth, MI; Antler, ND and Snowflake, AZ. For a complete list of cities participating in the re-mailing program, visit the Holiday Press Room at usps.com and click on “Holiday Cities.” Those interested in having postmarks from these cities should place all addressed and stamped cards and letters in a larger envelope addressed to Postmaster and include city, state and ZIP Code. Use the ZIP Code Locator on usps.com if a ZIP Code is unknown.
I’ve done the North Pole one every year since my now 5 year old was born. So far I’ve always received them back in a timely manner. For extra fun, if you can sneak the letter out of the mail for a while, stick it in the freezer so it’s extra cold when they open it!

Suzanne, Have you received yours back yet? I sent ours on 12/13 and haven’t received the reply yet…just wondering how long it takes? Thanks!

You can also get a free personalized video of santa at portable north pole.com. There are other options if you want to purchase the video, etc. but I have done the free version for my sons the last 3 years and they love it!
