I believe it is a primer for your lids, helps eyeshadow stay on. I think it works well.
I mean for the face primer 🙂 Well I accidentally ordered two I wish I could figure out how to give it to someone who wants it!
The face primer is actually clear and goes on very smooth.

Really want to try this but don’t want a color I can’t use. Is the Illume lip gloss tinted or clear? Does anyone know?
It’s a very lightly tinted neutral lip gloss, sort of a peachy-coral color. It’s a pretty color and a good gateway trial gloss to their other glosses, which I love, especially since they are SPF 15.

They have the same set for $19 at Ulta and Sephora. It’s worth it even at that price and you can view the colors in person. Just call ahead first as it tends to sell out since it is popular.
