Does smell get weak or change if I don’t use it till next winter? Because I am thinking about this is for next christmas gift…

    • Julie

I haven’t had a problem in the past buying now and using for Christmas gifts.

I have done that before and they have been fine! HTH!

I don’t know if this is the same thing year to year or not but I store the huge holiday ones from year to year and burn them again and they always still smell great. In fact because of a move it had been two years since mine were used and they were still great this Christmas.

    • Deidre

I doubt it. I use my holiday ones from year to year and never had a problem. In fact they have been stored for two years because of a move and been great afterwards. Just store them upright somewhere that isn’t too hot.

Help please …………Does anyone have any recommendations of a good candle for large rooms….like living room, kitchen and dining….we have open wall concept in our home and none of the candles I brought till now doesn’t smell at all even after an hour…..also pls recommend if 3 wick would be better than one

    • Adri mom

I’m shocked! Our Yankee candles fill several rooms with the scent but we tend to burn them for longer than an hour. I generally light mine 1-2 hours before a party and leave them burning while people are over. Of the ones on clearance all of the autumn ones have been strong. Other strong scents we’ve used are home sweet home and man cave (perfect for a bar area!) hope this helps!!

I would definitely use 3 week candles and try to put one in each room if you can–the smell will spread so far with one but will start to weaken as it spreads throughout a larger space

make your own…I make and sell 100% soy wax candles, it’s easy ( a bit spendy to start ) and I add extra fragrance oils because I like them strong. my cranberry spice can be smelled at my neighbors sometimes, no joke lol

Woodwick Candles are the best!!! Like the name implies it was a wood wick instead of a regular wick so when it burns it makes a quite crackling noise. You can smell it all over your house. They last sooo long and 1 wick would be best. They are about $22 for a large but well worth it! I used Yankee candles for years but in 1998 the company was sold to someone else and Yankee started making… well… cheaper candles. They changed the wax slightly to save money and now they have a tendency to burn straight down, wasting most of the wax but the price has stayed the same for the most part. The original owner of Yankee candle got irritated that they were messing with the process so he and his son created the company Kringle Candle, those candles are really awesome too!

Is this deal good in stores?

    • Sam

Yes it should be good in the YC store, but not sure about stores like Bed Bath and Beyond or Kohls.

  9. Sara

Why does it say 13.99? 🙁

  10. Sam

Great price! I still have so many candles from when I worked there so I must decline this offer.
