Great deal but I’m not even going to try and get it. Went to target yesterday and of course they were all out of hungry hungry hippo and the day before that toysrus was out of Frozen on blu ray/dvd.

Normally you can use cartwheel on up to 4 items, however, this special 1 day only is limited to 1 per guest. Sorry I know this is a great deal on a fun toy!
I just got back. Used the same cartwheel two different transactions and got 2 bows for $5.82 each.
me too, i got 2 from 2 diffrent stores and it worked fine. I called and had them hold the item for me before driving there.

I went and bought mine, well i got 3 and a bow. Used my coupons from house party, got my neighbors girls one. $5 was to hard to pass up. Then went to TRU and got Frozen for $11.
I purchased 2 today, I did 2 separate transactions and no problem at all!

I don’t think it makes a difference with the manufacture coupons. I gave those first then the cartwheel $9.99 came off with the cartwheel
Seems like if u don’t live next door to target when something like this pops up u don’t get it. Do they do rain checks? I’ve never heard of them doing them but wasn’t sure?

Heather, target only gives rainchecks for items listed in their weekly ad. anyway this deal wouldn’t be any good as the cartwheel is only valid for today only

I learned my lesson yesterday when my local store ran out of Hungry Hippos and called first thing this morning to have them hold one. I was lucky enough to have a very patient employee hunt through all the blasters to look for the right one. Good thing b/c my store only had 1 in stock! Does anyone know if I take the coupon in tomorrow if they will adjust for the $5.00 I don’t feel like driving back today as we live outside of town?
Yes they will.. I think their policy is as long as you bring the coupon in within 2 days they will credit you.
You may want to call and check. Mine has to be the same day or they wont adjust it.
They *might* not adjust b/c the cartwheel brings it down below the threshold. Your receipt will show it was $9.99, while the coupon says $14.99+.
Cartwheel is deducted after manufacturer coupons.
I called the store and they said I would need to come in today for the coupon adjustment since cartwheel expires today otherwise it’s 3 days for a coupon adjustment. I did go in for the adjustment and everything went smoothly. Thanks for all the responses.

I ran up to my closest store to find they were all sold out, but a nice employee let me pick another one to get 50% off and use the coupon!
My store had 4 on the shelf when I got there and I took one and gave my other coupon to the cashier so she could get one for a family bday party tomorrow she didnt know about the deal and was very happy!! Even if I could have done it twice I wouldnt have cause I hate when people do that and I get there and the shelf is empty sharing will give you good karma for more savings!!

I had a bad experience with the coupon and cart wheel, the cashier said it was not right , very low price….. sounded I was steling.
Don’t know why some cashiers are giving us a hard time. Sometimes, they just hate us for knowing to play the coupon game well and they don’t. When sale, promo, and coupon line up (total eclipse) we get good deal! Don’t mind them.
So glad you posted this! Earlier today I was at target and was going to get this and changed my mind came home jump on the computer saw this printed the coupon and went right back to Target lol it was the last one on the shelf!
