Am I the only person who does not like Sonic’s ice cream? Maybe it’s just my local Sonic, but I think even McDonald’s ice cream is better!
I hear you. Their ice cream has a funky taste and weird texture. Their whipped cream is the same way.
And the chicken products at my location in camas, wa I think they leave overnight. It always has a waxy taste to it.

if your Sonic says they require a text, contact the corporate office or https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=24540959832&ref=br_tf (the “official” sonic social team.) They’ve specifically said No text, No coupon required. We got ours in michigan, and family got theirs in texas.

According to the “official” social team for Sonic on Face Book, there is NO text required, NO coupon required. You just have to tell the bellhop about the offer. BUT people are having problems everywhere. I suggest you contact your restaurant first. If they refuse to honor, then send the Sonic FB team a message with the store information. From looking through the comments the FB team is asking folks to tell them the stores where there are problems (and it looks like they must be contacting stores, because some people are posting thanks for refunds). Agreed this is a corporate NIGHTMARE.
