It’s fairly compact front to back. The biggest concern with this seat usia is the high sides but a 20mo old can probably assist adults in getting into his/her seat.

Rachel, this seat is not the infant bucket seat. It is a convertible seat that rear faces and then forward faces and stays in the car. It is the tallest rear facing seat currently available so every child can get to 4 years rear facing And til 5-6 years old harnessed which will be safest in the event of a crash.
It says it’s good for as little as 4 lbs which caught my interest because I have 3 girls 5, 3, and on the way. Thanks for the extra info.

What’s the height limit on this one? I have tall babies and would love to rear face as long as possible.
The height limit is 50 inches both rear and forward facing

Highly recommend! Super simple installation and quick strap adjustment, I moved my now 7 month old into it at 4 months, and before that my other son used it till about 18 months.

Absolutely LOVE this seat! Just bought it for my 9 month old who is on the tall side….so much easier to install than the infant car seats!
