Anyone who has tried this before…
Do you think it is effective for a 16 pound baby, or just newborns?
It’s suppose to work for a while, but honestly the kind of sink you have will make a difference too, the kitchen sink with a bigger baby would be fine. I know it didn’t fit in my pedestal sink very well when my baby was a few months, I’d think you’d have to just use it in the kitchen sink. You could get it for this price and if it doesn’t look good to you with your baby and sink you could give it as a gift, they are really cool.
I tried this tub out and I didn’t like the small amount of water. I had to keep the sink running to keep any water in it because the drains are so low in the seat. Baby didn’t like it, prob cold. But for that price could be worth a try.

I purchased this tub on clearance at Target for $11. It was useless for me. Too small for a kitchen sink, too large for a bathroom sink with a non-movable faucet. Trust me, you didn’t miss out. I’d save the $5
