Walgreens: 90% Off Christmas Clearance
If you’re headed to Walgreens to check out any of the deals I’ve recently posted here (scroll past this post), be sure to stop by the Christmas clearance section as items are now up to 90% off (may still only be 70% off in some locations)! I spotted Seasons Greeting/Merry Christmas Signs for 59¢, Tabletop Trees and Angels $1.29, Glass Ornaments 26 count $0.99, and an LED Lighted Christmas Tree for $2.99.
I also spotted a Holiday Canvas for $0.99, Window Clings for $0.19, Christmas Tree Stand $1.29, Pine Garland $0.69, and lots more!

I was going to email you about this after I got home. I went to 4 Walgreens today. Best deal was 12 white tshirt size gift boxes for $0.49!! I got tinsel for $0.19, two pack Minnie Mouse tumblers for $0.99, wrapping paper for .29, tree stars for .79, etc.

The only thing that’s not is the hallmark stuff. It’s 50% 🙁
My stores adjusted Hallmark items to 90% off for me. I got snowballs & the cute ceramic houses.
Walmart & CVS has the Hallmark North Pole items for 70% off. (Might be 75, can’t remember). I was at Walgreens last Friday and the sign said 50% for Hallmark but when I price checked, they were less. Same thing at Walmart today.
I tried to buy some Hallmark stuff the other day and all of it was ringing up full price and it was clearly Christmas stuff but when the manager was called he said the Hallmark stuff was not included and would not adjust the price at all:(

Do they have any perfume/makeup sets that go down to 90% or just Christmas decorations?
No, what makeup/fragrance sets I saw were in cosmetics at 50% off.

At my CVS there were some perfume and body cream sets by Essence of Beauty for 75% off ($10 for $2.50). They were in the makeup department with no signs but they did ring up clearance price.
Wish everyone good luck on getting these deals. I have too many ebay re-sellers in my town. Everything was gone two days after Christmas from Walmart, Target, RIte-aid, CVS, Walgreens, Homedepot, etc.
I was just thinking the same thing:). I don’t know if they resell it but everything was gone when it was 50% off about 2 days after Christmas.
That sucks… I like to buy up a lot of stuff for donations myself, saves me so much money I’m able to get 2-3 times the amount of stuff to donate!
I got a 6′ tree for only 3.49 (reg 34.99), mens ties for .50, garland pictured above, a childrens dinner set for .99, a santa costume for 4.99, and wrapping paper for .29! Plus a ton more!! Only some outdoor decorations,

I went today and candy and beauty was 50%, everything else 70%. I am in CT.
Ughhh! I have been waiting for this and stopping in mine daily. Today I went in and they had gotten rid of everything at mine without moving it to 90% off. I’m guessing they sent it all somewhere bc they had tons of stuff left!
wow I just got home from Walgreens got some led lights reg 14.99 for 1.50 and a Santa hat for 90 cents. Still a decent amount of things to pick threw.
One store in my area had 90% while another store just a couple of miles away was still at 70% off. Candy was still at 50% off. Slim pickings at the 90% store, but found an Angry Birds cocoa mug for $1.29 that made my son’s day.
I picked up a bunch of fuzzy socks for gifts next year! I also got the shirt boxes and tons of gift bags. Yeah!
I got a pretty good deal, Crayola Creative Kids 85 pieces for only $4.97 regular price$15.99 in my Walgreens.

only one thing was at 90% the rest was still 50%. Then the mgr said that they are told to not mark anything past 50% and to take it in the back stock room for next year (except food)
All of the Christmas stuff at my Wags was 90% off though they had to adjust the price manually. The clerk only had the chart that told the prices for 70% off, so she used her (I’m not trying to be mean here) bad math and just rang it up for what she thought was 90% off. I got a 4 ft tree for 1.99, paper plates & napkins for .29 each, Snoopy countdown clock for .49, North Pole talk to Santa for 1.50, talking ornament for .49!!! I wasn’t going to complain!
I had the same experience at my Walgreens! She just made up prices based on an already discounted price. I think all of my stuff was about 98% off thanks to her math skills!
Ha same here! I picked up a mic key mouse head that was lit and had a santa hat on (hard to explain, but it’s cute) it didn’t have a Barcode but had a yellow sticker for $9.99 so when the cashier saw there was no Barcode he picked up one of my ornaments and scanned it an extra time to “cover the cost.” The ornament only cost 19 cents! But I was happy! The cashiers were all happy to see me getting so much stuff since it’s less work for them!
The cashier I had could not find any regular prices but said he would manually adjust the prices. He scanned one gift bag & it came up $1.89 and he said that was already 90% off – I tried to explain that the gift bag would have had to have been $18.99 if $1.89 was 90% off and he just said “I’m confused”!!! Took forever to get a few things because nothing was ringing up right. I finally just left : (
your post made me laugh my walgreens had 90% cashier had to enter price seemed like machine took off 90%once he pushed some button but it still makes me laugh how confused people get about taking off the last digit. how do so many people not know 14.99 would be 1.49
I was just at three stores yesterday at 75% off. I picked up some coloring books, a few plush and two mens gifts sets at 50% off.
CVS on the other hand was a gold mine. I scored 8 and 13 inch Ty Olafs, the CVS brand Fit Bit, Fisher-Price band sets, lego sets and toy sets, ear buds, headphones and a watch all at 75% off. I also found Power Rangers at 75% off. The Power Rangers are selling over retail price on Ebay. I finished my sons birthday gifts, half of his holiday gifts and filled my holiday donation box to the brim. I may go back at 90% for more donations. Anyone know when CVS will jump to 90%?
My Walgreens are still at 70% today for décor & 50% for candy. I did better at CVS they had more gift items at 75% off. Got men’s flannel lounge pants for 1.49 each !
Got the Disney princess lamps for 1.99! (Cinderella and Ariel.)
I just got back and got a 4.5′ prelit tree for $1.25! I also got 2 cans of spray flocking so I am going to strip the lights and spray it for my snowman theme tree next year!
My sister did that this past xmas! She bought a huge super flocked tree and had a huge snowman topper from home depot. Very nice! 🙂
I scored at walgreens today. Soo excited since my target had nothing at 90. Got a cute tree with red bird for $1.29, ceramic tree in pic $1.29, merry christmas sign $0.79, lighted garland $2.49!!!!! Christmas scarves $0.39, red bird decor $0.19 and they had the ball pets (as seen on tv) for $4.99! Reg $20! Very happy 🙂

I went to my Rite Aid tonight and it was 75% off. Not a huge selection but I did SCORE with a 19″ HD LED TV for $37.49 (reg. $149.99) and a bag of Reeses cups for $1.07!! Woo-hoo!!
I had an awesome score at mine!! Teddy bears (that dont even look christmasy at all) were under $0.99… a big frerro rocher (spelling is horrible) for only $0.40!!!! trust me, i looked for more but that was the last one! three starbucks via pumpkin spice latte (that was hiding on the very top behind the sparkling cider so i am sure someone wanted it!) for ony $2.99 each!! (these are normally about $10 so i love the deal!) some candy bars and holiday chocolate squares for $0.10 each and some junior mint giant boxes (that will come in handy for my “mommy needs a break” on my 6 hour flight with a 2 year old) for only $0.40. I had to look high and low through out the store cause people were stashing them everything christmas related!!!!

I don’t know what was up with my Walgreens but they had every item tagged individually with 70 or 90off. So strange. Wrapping paper was 70 off but ornaments were 90. Bows were 90 but other ornaments were 70. I even price checked and it was all different. Such a disappointment.

I was super excited to get 16 kid’s character body washes for .20 each! Rang up $1.50 regularly $2 so cashier had to manually adjust all of them. I felt bad but wasn’t going to overpay $1.30 for each. Wasn’t too much else at my walgreens but I found a cute Mickey and Minnie plate for .99 each and a dc mcstuffins stocking holder for .99 as well. Noticed I still got overcharged $3 so I’ll have to stop in later. Seeing as I never go there I was happy and my kids will be clean 😉
I got the same bubble bath ornaments. My store manually changed too. Most was 90% off except Hallmark and 70% off food. Got coloring books for $0.17 each and Ninja Turtle and Hello Kitty Ornaments for $0.59.
Friendliness of the store clerk and mgr make a big difference.
At another store the mgr and clerk were jerks.
I went to a store last night. I picked up Glade melts, Glade candles & Patriot large glass candles at 95% off. The clerk was not nice and refused to lower the price to 90% until I asked the manager. The manager told him to reduce to 90%. The clerk told the manager that he did not know how to compute 90% off so he needed to use his calculator. The clerk told me it would take a while. I told the clerk that I knew the prices and helped him. However, I realized after I left that he took 90% off the already reduced 50% off. The large Patriot candle was $15 then $7.49. I paid $.75 for it or 95% off. The problem at this store is the signs said “Up to 90% off” which is why the clerk refused to honor the prices. I have never seen a drug store use such words on holiday clearance.
Does hallmark ever go lower then 50%? Stopped in on my lunch break to check it out cuz i saw the post. Spotted some cute hallmark items but tag said 50% off so i past. Did get some mini candy canes, bags and paper for 90% off even tho sign only said 70. So wondering if there’s any hope on hallmark going down more…

Anyone know when seasonal stuff is normally salvaged?
My local walgreens had a ton of that northpole hallmark stuff including bake kits, a communicator, mechanical decor, and even the dvds, all signed at 90%. When I took it to the register it was ringing up 75%, when I asked the guy to adjust to 90 he gave me an annoyed look (it was 1am) and took his phone out and started making up prices ranging from 0.22-1.25. He asked me if I was happy with that I said yes of course and when I looked at my receipt I realized he gave me an extra 90 off the already 75 off prices! Also all my local cvs have dropped to 90 by yesterday and had so much of the same north pole stuff. Came across a couple more dvds of the movie that rang up full price but they manually adjusted it. Long story short- you should always be able to talk the cashier or manager into honoring 90 off of an item that was displayed in a signed 90% off area, especially if there are multiples of the item. Good luck! P.s I just found out hallmark is planning to release a sequel to north pole next year so all this current north pole stuff would still make relevant gifts for next christmas.
Btw I am in miami beach,fl. This may be the reason all my local stores pretty much just want to give away the merchandise at this point- many tourists here with no room in their suitcases to buy/fit all this stuff even at rock bottom prices.
