   The expanded product line can be found at retailers like Target, HEB, Schnucks, Ingles, A&P, Weis, Shaw’s, Lowes Foods, Cub Foods, and Piggly Wiggly as well as select Costco regions, where consumers will be able to purchase Classic Soft Pretzels and Pretzel Dogs in a wholesale size. The soft pretzels, nuggets and pocket sandwiches retail for $3.99 a box and the pretzel dogs are priced at $5.79 (pricing may vary by retailer).

   Okay it’s going to look like a lot of work but it really isn’t and it goes quick and the reward is great AND you can throw them in your freezer and reheat as you want them(6min @ 400*). My oldest son loves helping roll these out!

   Great recipe for pretzels… 4c flour, 1/3 1tsp sugar divided, 1.5tsp salt, 1.5c warm(not too hot) water, 1Tbs oil(avocado oil makes them very soft and fluffy where olive oil makes them more dense) a packet of yeast. Browning solution ingredients: 1/2c baking soda and 4c warm water. Combine warm water, yeast, and two teaspoons of sugar sir and set aside for about 10min. Combine dry ingredients in a large bowl and stir and create a well in the center. Pour in the oil and then the yeast mixture. Using a stand mixer or electric hand mixer mix ingredients week until a soft dough forms if to dry add water 1Tbsp at a time of to sticky add flour 1Tbsp at a time until it’s only slightly tacky. Lift dough out to oil the bowl and replace the dough cover and let rise to double. When the dough is ready. Preheat oven to 425. In a flat bottom dish(like a Pyrex pan) combine baking soda and warm water, wisk to dissolve. Turn out dough on floured surface oil your hands to make handling the dough easier. Divide dough into 8-10 equal parts and roll into 18-20″ cords and shape into pretzels or wrap around hot dogs or cut into pretzel bites. Dip them in the browning solution and place on a parchment or silicone lined baking sheet and bake for 10min. I usually make a couple cinnamon raisin and to do that I add a tablespoon on raisins and a half teaspoon of cinnamon to the dough before I roll it into a cord. Do the same with any other ingredients you like in your pretzels.
