I recommend you pay in advance online. I paid in advance and the driver tried to charge me an additional $22 when he delivered the food. I refused the delivery, and called customer service. They don’t have the best customer service. I complained and customer relations took over my complaint and I am finally getting my delivery tomorrow just one week later. I requested a new driver because I don’t trust the driver in my area after he ignored customer service and still attempted to collect additional money from me.

I love it! I actually had a great customer service experience. My driver was late so I called to cancel my order. Customer Service gave me a $5 credit for a future order. The driver came and left a note on my door (I canceled because I could no longer wait – had somewhere to be) for me to call when I got home and he’d deliver. He came right after we called. My kids love the food – quick and easy for my teenagers to fix themselves between their college classes.

I did this deal as well last month. Food has been very good, and our delivery guy very friendly, not pushy and gave me some good tips and told next time he’ll have some coupons for me. That got my attention, lol. I have placed another small order with a 10% email they sent me and a $5 coupon just came in the mail. So far, so good. I did prepay last time and this coming order. Money was not debited till delivered.
I had the exact same experience and placed a second order also. My delivery guy said to place the order and pay online was the way to go for the ease and discounts. I didn’t order as much this time because to me they’re a little more pricey than what I’m willing pay. But everything was delicious!!!

I just made the lasagna and was disappointed. The cheese was good but that’s where it stopped. The noodles are really thick and chewy. I’ll stick w stouffers for that!

My driver told me there is 100% guarantee on everything even if you just don’t like the taste. He said to leave the replace the item or give you credit for that amount for your next order
I have a simple, quick and easy lasagne recipe if you’re interested. You don’t even cook the noodles. Just assemble with purchased items, bake and it’s as good as Olive Garden.

How do you get $1.75 shipping? my shipping fee is going to be $22 that defeats all my savings!
You must not have delivery in your area. That price is to have it shipped. Delivery, at least for me, is $1.7(
Delivery and shipping are two different things. Delivery is the when the Schwans driver brings the food from a Schwans truck. Shipping is when a second party delivers your order. If you don’t see delivery as an option then you might not have a Schwan delivery person.
Try to call the 1-888 number on the website. I had the option for delivery or shipping, but when I went to check out online it said I had to call the number to set up delivery. I called and the lady I talked to made a note for the delivery setup people to contact me. They didn’t call, but I did log on to my account and they had set up a delivery date for me. If it’s not an option online? Try to call. I had to wait a little while on the phone, but they are extremely helpful and pleasant.
I tried the pot pies and really enjoyed them. The pretzels were ok, not great. The regular prices seem a little high, but I’ll probably keep getting the pot pies now and then. I was not happy that it took them 2 weeks to deliver my order and I was never told a delivery time. I just happened to be home when they showed up. They were very nice about it though.

Found this recent recall on chicken and Schwan’s was on the list
Aspen Foods recalled the products due to possible salmonella contamination, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
The frozen, raw, stuffed and breaded chicken items appear to be “ready-to-eat,” but that may not be the case, according to the federal agency.
The products that fall under the recall were produced between Aug. 25, 2015, and Sept. 17, 2015. The “best if used by” dates on these products range from Aug. 23, 2016, to Dec. 15, 2016.
Brands that fall under the recall include Antioch Farms, Kirkwood, Market Day, Roundy’s, Safeway Kitchens, Schwan’s and Sysco.

I placed an order last month when this offer was posted. I waited several days and never got a notice as to when it would be delivered. I finally used the “Chat” option on the website and asked what was going on. I was told I would hear from someone within 2 days. Four days went by and I finally emailed customer service. I received a big apology, 200 Reward Pts. and a promise I would hear from someone the next day with a delivery date. Three days later I got a phone call to let me know that they would be delivering the next day between 5-8 PM.
Ad luck would have it, I had dinner plans with the other half the next night so I explained that to the woman that called. She put me on hold for a bit and came back to let me know they would come between 2-5 PM which worked out great. I checked the site that night and the delivery time was posted for the next day between 2-5. The next morning something told me to check again and lo and behold the time was changed to 5-8 PM. I Googled SChwans to get the phone number and discovered that the warehouse is in a town 15 miles from me! I called and told the person I spoke to what was going on and was told someone would call me back soon. That never happened.
Naturally I wasn’t home when the delivery man came and he left a note on the door saying they would call to reschedule. I checked the site and the next delivery date was two weeks later. I decided I’d had enough and cancelled the order. Then last Friday I got a call from them letting me know me order would be delivered this Thursday. I told the man called I had canceled the order and explained why. Long story short, he talked me into getting the order. I seriously doubt I will ever order from them again after this fiasco.
You should get your whole order for free!!! What a nightmare.
This was my experience as well. I never heard from them. Tried chat, then emailed, finally called. After being told it would be two weeks for a delivery date, and it was a time that wouldn’t work, I cancelled my order.

I tried ordering the 2 chicken 2 beef 2 pork option but it disappears once it’s in my cart. Also, the half orange half vanilla ice cream does too. There’s no indication of it being out of stock. Anyone have trouble with this? It’s also charging me $14.99 for shipping 🙁
P.S. Never tried them before. What’s good? How long did delivery take, and do you get an estimate when it’ll be delivered?
The Carmel ice cream bars are SO good! I’m a huge fan of their ice cream and pizza. My toddler loves the mini corn dogs as well. I think delivery depends on your location. I placed an order yesterday and he’ll be here this afternoon. My estimate is a two hour time frame of 3-5. They usually offer several times and dates so you can choose what best fits your schedule.
