   I picked up some toy filled jack-o-lanterns ($12 for 24 pieces) so that I could participate in the Teal Pumpkin Project. I’ll place a teal pumpkin outside to let trick or treaters know that if they have any food allergies, a non food treat will be available for them at my home. Suffering from allergies myself I wanted to be a part of this. More information is available at tealpumpkinproject.org

  That is so great. My 3 year old son has Type 1 diabetes, so I really love that a Teal Pumpkin Project exists! I’ve never heard of it before.

   I will never give out candy “made in china”. And those are the first to get tossed in the trash after trick-or-treating. I do however love their little trinkets to pass out!
