I’m not seeing MasterPass as an option at checkout?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Hi Allison! It appears you have to be logged into your LivingSocial account. After logging in, you should be able to see the “Masterpass” option at checkout. Hope that helps!

  2. Melissa Simpson

Awesome, bought this deal and excited for the deal bucks, thanks!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Awesome!

  3. Amanda

I am having trouble checking out with MasterPass, I just get a spinning circle…anyone else?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Bummer… maybe try in a different browser?

  4. Angela

Can you use it on anything and does it automatically get taken off before you but it?

    • Chelsey L.

It does say that it won’t work on anything that has to be used redeemed on a third party site, so be careful buying $ off vouchers.

      • Anthony

Thanks for the heads up. I was just about to buy a voucher for Google express. Schhewww

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

That is correct, Chelsey! Thanks for letting me know – I have added to the post.

    • Barb J

Not showing up for me on my phone and I am signed in. Just asked me for PayPal, credit and visa checkout

  5. nicole

Yes, I am confused as to how to check out with it?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Hi Nicole! Be sure to select the “MasterPass” option at checkout =(you’ll see this option AFTER you have logged into your LivingSocial account).

      Hope that helps!

      • nicole

Lol, thank you, I missed that part!

  6. Ashley

Do you have to have one of the banks listed? Mine isn’t on the list so I don’t think I can get the deal.

    • Ashley

Nevermind, figured it out! Thank you, Collin!

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Glad you were able to figure it out, Ashley! 😀

  7. Shari M

I couldnt find it logging in on computer.. I used the app (living social) and I dont see where I can pay with Master Pass

  8. Stephanie Sitz

Use code “HOLIDAY” to save 15%!

    • Chelsey L.

I’m not sure if this can be combined as it says “Cannot be combined with any other offer or promotion”.

      • Kristi

Yeah I wouldn’t chance it! I would have only saved a whole 15 cents anyways.

  9. Roxy

There’s a deal for Ebags.com $25 for a $50 voucher. Does anyone have any feedback for Ebags?

    • Diane

I’ve ordered a few times from them. A lot of items have shoprunner shipping. Everything was fine and dandy.

      • Roxy

        Thank you.

      • jac

With shoprunner (available on every item I’ve ever ordered from them), shipping & returns are free at eBags. If you’re not certain about an item there’s no harm in ordering and seeing it in person before deciding whether to keep it (though I might be more hesitant about this when paying via voucher). Selection is excellent, descriptions are thorough, reviews are extensive, and my experience has been that quality is generally high. I’ve gotten several nice items from them, including luggage, work totes, & travel totes, both for myself and as gifts. If I needed any type of bag, I’d look at eBags first.

        *A few tips:
        1) there are always sales, sometimes with significant price deductions. If you see something you like but aren’t sure about, you can add it to your “favorites” and keep an eye on it.
        2) you usually can’t combine a cash back offer with a %-off offer; when going through cash-back sites or clicking through direct links, you can check your cart for the associated offer code. I always note the offer that appears in my cart and try each one separately for comparison, in order to use the best available offer. *Note that ibotta has offered deals in the past; when you activate the deal you have the option to receive an email with a link. Going through that link and making a purchase results in cash back via ibotta. Not sure whether there is a way to combine this with other offer codes.
        3) often AmEx offers a reward for purchase. (I think I remember offers for $10/$50 & $20/$75 in the past.) This is a credit directly applied to your credit card within a couple of days of using the card to meet the purchase requirement.
        4) if you create an account on eBags you will receive rewards credit for every purchase you make. You can choose to apply this directly as a credit to any future purchase. It is treated as a form of payment and can be combined with other offers.
        4) if you refer a friend who makes a purchase, they get a discount and you get rewards credit. If anyone would like an offer for 20% off and free shipping with first purchase, feel free to leave your email for me, and I’ll send you a referral link. Currently there is also this 20% code: LASTCHANCE. I sometimes see 30% deals, as well.

    • Angela

      I love Ebags!

    • Anthony

Just letting u know that the fine print says not valid of vouchers for third party sites. I was trying to get one from google express but I read that so I didn’t end up getting it

  10. Roxy

Helppppp!! I am trying to checkout but I have $10 living social bucks in my account and it’s automatically trying to apply it to my order. I don’t know what to do

    • Shazi

I don’t think there is a way around that other than opening a new account in your (spouse’s? Childs? Dogs?) name. I plan to do this with my husband’s account bc mine has deal bucks already

  11. Amy

Does anyone know how long it takes for deal bucks to show?

  12. Neha

Do I have to create new Masterpass accoiunt for this? So then it looks just similar to Visa Checkout. Isnt it?
Also I coulndnt find any Visa or mastercard in the provided list so Do I just select masterpass in the provider?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Yes!

  13. Doaa

    What are deal bucks?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

They are basically money or credits to use towards other LivingSocial deals. Hope that helps!

  14. jen

Please help! I’m so frustrated. Ok, I get where you go to select Master Pass but d you have to sign up, select a bank? I’m disappointed not in the instructions, Colin’s usually so detailed and awesome about this stuff, I feel like an idiot what am I doing wrong. Ughhh

    • Shari M

Dont feel bad in my living social after signing in I see no where to check out with masterpass.. I feel like an idiot too.. used computer and the app and even a different browser..

      • Elaine

When it gives you your payment option it usually has your default card for LG listef. Click on select another payment and chose Master pass. I set up the account before I purchased my deal. HTH.

  15. Jen

Howdo you check out, do u have to set up master pass? What if you don’t have bank listed, please help

    • Elaine

You can set it up using a credit card. My bank wasn’t listed so it gave me option of adding a Visa. Everything worked when I got to checkout. When you chose Master pass as payment option on LS you will have to sign in to MP and then it will complete your process.

  16. Musk

Can this be used on anything?

  17. Jodi

I only see Visa Checkout, not MasterCard checkout. Since this deal goes through 12/31, I’ll try again tomorrow. I did sign up on the MasterCard page. I selected Mastercard Master Pass and was able to add my discover card.

    • bali

      used your link!

  18. Becky

In the fine print: all Deal Bucks will expire thirty (30) days from deposit. Once you get the deal bucks make sure you use them quickly before they expire.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Thanks for the reminder Becky!

  19. Stephanie

What can you use deals bucks on?

    • Christina

Any living social deal. And I think they don’t ever expire, so you can take your time to pick a good deal!

      • EconomicalBear

Someone mentioned that for this LivingSocial Master Pass deal, all Deal Bucks expire in 30 days.

  20. Angela

Ebates has 15% back on living social today!

  21. aputnam9

Thank you Collin for the deal.
If someone wants to use the Hop, Cask & Barrel deal I will be happy to send a voucher. Send me an email abudziwojska@yahoo.com

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You’re welcome!

  22. Jen

Help! I am so confused! I see pay with pay pal and visa checkout but not masterpass? Have tried my phone and computer! What am I doing wrong?

    • nin

try clicking “pay with another payment” or something like that

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Are you logged in to your LivingSocial Account? Hope that helps!

  23. nin

Much easier to go to MasterPass first and set up your account then go to Living Social (at least for me it was)

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Thanks for the tip!

  24. Kara

Should the deal bucks show up right away? I made an order this morning but nothing has shown up yet under deal bucks section on my account…

  25. Jodi

Problem solved: I was trying to buy something from the “shop” section and it wouldn’t work. When I bought something from the local section, it worked.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Glad it finally worked for your Jodi!

  26. Christina

Could someone please post when you see DealBucks added to your account? I didn’t see it after purchasing. Not sure how long it takes. Thanks!

  27. Debbie

I got it to work after a while. I just went to my laptop instead of trying to do it on my phone and masterpass came up. I bought a $15 voucher good for $30 worth of food and drinks at a Peruvian restaurant. Went with my fiancée today and they’re out of business lol. I requested a refund so I guess I’m not getting the deal bucks.

  28. Megan

Has anyone had the Deal Bucks post to their account yet? I didn’t even receive the e-mail about them….

    • wklsunflowerwendy

      got mine

  29. Christi Crout Wells

My deal bucks have posted and it says they expire in 2020! YAY!

  30. lisa

I made a purchase on Dec. 31 using Masterpass but never received any DealBucks. Guess I’ll call Livingsocial. Anyone else have this problem?
