Yes! I was there this morning. HD deals looked a little better but my Lowe’s is much closer.
Oh goodness…I was just in there last night and purchased 2 of the shrubs that are on sale today…LOL.

My HD had some mulch on clearance yesterday too. I got a whole pallet (68 bags) for $66. This saved me over $100!!!! We are putting much around the kids play set and needed a lot. Went back today for some of the sales.
Jenn, you can buy mulch by yard from local mulch places. Our area has it $30/yard, which is usually cheaper than bags. You do need truck though…
That was our original plan. The nursery here is $35.99 a yard and I was ready to buy from there but then I found the clearance bags which saved us $100 for the same amount of mulch (approximately 5 yards). I got lucky!
This makes me wish I have a yard right now!!! At least I was able to grab some good houseplants and a cute fern plus the charcoal for a really good deal. Thanks Collin!! I now have greenery in the house!!! Lol

I get leaf mulch for free from our County. If you go there you can haul as much as you want but you have to bag it yourself. You can pay a nominal fee and they’ll deliver a truckload. They collect the leaves in the fall and compost it. Some counties even sell some of theirs already bagged at Home Depot. It is like black dirt and I use it to mix in with the garden soil.
I suggest that if you’re interested that you check with your county or city to see if it’s available.
Just be careful getting wood chips/mulch from wood from the county because they grind up trees that have been cut down, but it is possible that a tree would be damaged by termites and cut down and turned into mulch. I know of someone who got termites at their house that way so it was an expensive free mulch :-/
I didn’t get termites, but my lawn did get some disease from the free mulch I used, and we had to re-sod the entire backyard. Never again!
Hey, just FYI, you can place an order online and choose to pick it up another day if you can’t make it to the store today but want to get these great prices. At checkout it gives you the option to change your pick up day and time. Just to be sure, I did call my local store to double-check with a sales associate too. They said that if I placed an online order today that I could pick it up whenever I specified online, just come to the Customer Service desk inside with my receipt and they would get it for me. Thought I would let everyone know!

I bought the garden cart last year at this price and it was worth every penny! It has withstood four kids and two gardens. Great buy!!
Just got back from Home Depot (which is a taboo place around our house since we own a lumber yard). However, when I can take advantage of them and their crazy sales I do. I got four double bags of charcoal, 12 one gallon annuals, seven one gallon deal of the day shrubs, and four 4″ herb plants. Total value was over $215 and I paid less than $100 bucks!! Wahoo! Take that Home Depot!

i think this particular deal is regional. My stores (nashville, TN) only has the boston hanging fern for $5 today. There are more days of deals, every day something that is awesome and only lasts a day. You can see them upcoming on the website only. I think we will get this shrub deal in the next few days.

Ahhh! I’m in Michigan and it is snowing. I am SO jealous of everyone buying all this summery stuff! I’m going to go get some mulch, but I would rather be loading up on ferns!!! I won’t be able to put ferns out for at least a month so I guess I will have to miss this amazing deal =(
